every year I’m like “I should do something for my birthday next year” and then it’s january and I’m just too tired and it’s cold and no one can make it anyway and I don’t. BUT a friend took me out for a really nice dinner at alinea (and I made myself feel less guilty about her giving me such an expensive gift by covering the wine lol) and my sister is coming up to visit for a couple days next week and somebody left a really nice comment on one of my fics so overall it was pretty good this year. 😎

#I had planned to take the day off work but a project snuck up on me #and I judged the anxiety I'd save myself by making a few dents in it to be worth the appalling injustice of having to work on my birthday #instead I'm thinking I'll take a day whrn my sister visits next week #and possibly this weekend as a gift to myself I'll finish the stupid sisko/dukat pwp I got like 80% done last month #and have been procrastinating on finishing because it's the annoying filling in the connective tissue between the main scenes bits #jules.txt
