The most heartbreaking thing about Lingrong's pregnancy arc is that it takes place after Lingrong has used the Fresh-Thinning pill to lose weight so that she could hone her dancing skills, and then only a short amount of time later she has to take different medication to forcibly become pregnant, and even has to try to prolong the pregnancy as long as possible with the knowledge she's heading towards a traumatic miscarriage and with the additional pressure to somehow manage to pin the miscarriage on Zhen Huan...I can't imagine the physical and mental toll all of this process must have taken on her, no wonder girl looked depressed the entire time :(
