i've never really considered fran's relationship with isabela, but they've quickly become very close friends in this playthrough and it's making me 🤔
#oc tag#ch: frances hawke#like at face value they're kinda similar or at least align#and fran's charm pairs really well with bela's#despite the secrets bela is clearly keeping i think fran finds a sort of comfort in her company#because at least bela's predictable? like if you expect someone to cut and run it doesn't hurt as much when it eventually happens?#bela coming back is .... a Different sort of feeling#and in the end even if bela is infuriated with fran's decision to kill anders and side with the templars i think she also understands#a decision born of circumstance and ambition etc etc#it was an impossible choice and even if they clash on their opinion of the circle and mages i think bela at least respects fran#and knows she'll still at least Make the tough decisions#even if bela doesn't like her answer at least fran's not sitting around twiddling her thumbs#and selfishly bela knows that fran will always have her back when it comes to her own dealings (unrelated to the mages)#it also doesn't hurt to be close friends with the viscountess of a leading marcher city state 🤷♀️#years later rumours fly that the viscountess (and fenris) were smuggled from kirkwall by a certain ship captain in the dead of night#following the templars overthrowing frances' rule#but no one ever confirms the suspicions#info dump over i just have a lot of feelings about frances and isabela okay
