hello beloved tumblyfriends,

does anyone have experience with putting music on an mp3 player (that has a memory stick built in, it's basically this one) from a CD? and also using windows media player legacy?

i've found an instructables on it but that says that i have to rip the cd first (what does that do??) so i was wondering if there is anyway to copy the music from the CD to the mp3 player, like how you copy files.
