Where previous Olympic Games this racist?
#genuine question because I honestly don't follow the Olympics (or sports in general) that much#but this is year there was some bullshit every day???! from France banning hijabs for their own teams to the US bullying the chinese swimmer#and dear god was Italy so fucking racist and misogynist and transphobic I don't even know where to start.#Idk take all the government's funding and give it to Algerian women sport collectives that's a start#but what the fuck was going on this year Was it just more visible cause people speaking out about it or was it actually worse than usual
