I was going through my albums and realized the cheapest one i own was $1 (the cure greatest hits) and the most expensive one was $60+ (seventeen's love & letter repackage)
#the first one has a lowkey interesting story bc the store that was selling it were getting rid of cds so they put em on sale#and it was an eternally long table full of cds#and believe it or not mostly weren't interesting to me (ballads. cumbia etc) and also there were a lot of repeats#so after going through almost all of them i gave up and was set to leave.... but i forgot one row#i thought it was probably full of repeats so i didn't bother. but then i thought: well. one last row to check. why not?#and i did and i swear to goth.... the very last album there was the cure's one#for a dollar#and i was like No Fucking Way 🤯#maybe someone hid it there to buy later but wtfff... A DOLLAR!#and the second one was stupid bc i caved in to the pressure of buying kpp albums for sales numbers and music show wins#it was the very last day to buy and i woke up at 8am to do so and i just paid#didn't even realize they charged $60#then when i received it it hit me... SIXTY?????????#rambless
