I do need to talk about El's feelings on, I guess, religion and faith and divinity and such as that. It is so fascinating to me.
#OOC / HOLLY.#nothing about it is cut and dry#it is nuanced and always has been#it's only become more nuanced as time has worn on#I've mentioned this a million times but I will never be over#El at like 18 years old breaking into My.st.ra's temple with the intention of burning it down#then meeting My.st.ra face to face and debating her on the ethics of magic#and being like 'take responsibility for your fckn mages'#their views have evolved since then obvs but they've never *truly* lost that energy#'gods are beyond mortal judgment' 'no one's beyond my judgment up your game'
