#anti spuffy#anti spike#not really anti spike but just in case#throughout the season they have had a very unhealthy dynamic#and absolutely no discussion on consent#SR is without a doubt a conclusion for what was a very very bad relationship#and are we ignoring s5 spike's lack of taking no for an answer#his stalking and obsession#which Buffy's friends had FULL RIGHTS to be concerned with and disgusted by#and because people hate xander they'll just look over that he WAS CONCERNED AND HAD REASONING FOR BEING SO#spike literally tells buffy that he'll MURDER druscilla if she doesn't admit she likes him???#then the thing with the sex robot buffy replica is nothing short of repulsive#and it's insane that it's played off as comedic#or brushed away because he did a good thing by not telling glory about dawn#so it cancels out apparently? be fr....#yes the s6 relationship is interesting and well developed (mostly) and just because it's unhealthy doesn't make it less compelling#but the way fandom has treated it is frankly disgusting and repulsive#most either shove it under a rug or say that spuffy could still happen after SR#and no !#after everything they'd done in s6 to each other. and after SR r*pe attempt there was no coming back to that relationship#and spike's redemption was better handled it ATS s5 than in s7 of btvs#sorry but this makes me sooooo angry#rape mention cw#rape mention tw
