Within the Project are there rivalries between operators with different specializations? Do techs have to deal with the dreaded “In English (or whatever language they speak), nerd” whenever they talk? Low effort “combat specialists are dumb” jokes?

while the specializations are mechanically distinct in the game, they're not actually representative of separate "classes" of operative - you're all operatives, and you all have different strengths which inform how and where you're deployed, and for which types of mission.

there's definitely a certain amount of ribbing, but it's more personal than a general stereotyped "combat specialists are idiots" (which. also. in a world of highly advanced technology and weapons development, having the capacity to use, maintain, adapt and modify a wide range of weapons is nothing to sneer at, intellectually) - for example, people will take the piss out of nash for their driving, but no-ones calling them a coward for being a sniper, yknow??
