That anon sounded suspiciously like the one that would flood my retrospring on twitter, so I'm not entertaining that this time around. If you sent me an ask and genuinely did not mean to come across as starting shit, then I apologize for assuming, but please understand that while I'm open to discussions and varying opinions, I'm not down for being talked at or used as a means to further your own negativity. There is literally a confessions blog out there for opinions like this if you need an outlet to share them.

#I have my beef with some writing choices too #but call me too soft or whatever but I'm very very hesitant to deem an entire writing team as shitty for a few mistakes #and yes that includes mistakes that are HUGE and frustrating.#i don't always love it but those parts that i do? phenomenal.#as much as i wish things were perfect that's just not reality and it's incredibly rare that i find a narrative where there are zero mistake #*mistakes #and also rare that i don't find myself vastly disappointed in the handling of a character or scene or whathaveyou #and that's okay (imo). you can still enjoy and admire things about it.#this absolutely does not mean i don't criticize it myself because i do! and i've been misunderstood as disliking something i love #because of it. but at the same time if your hatred/negativity outweighs your love for something then that's not really healthy imo #it's fine to just...walk away from it if it only brings you stress/frustration/disappointment/etc.
