can't get behind the "what if curlfeather secretly killed jayclaw" theory/hc for quite a few reasons but one of them is that it reminds me of those Evil (insert character here) AUs that dominated the fandom on youtube a few years ago where they just make characters kill a bunch of people over the flimsiest possible reasons to amp up their Eeeeevil factor, and while that's all fun and good but kind of boring in an au completely detached from canon it frustrates me to see it brought into like. the actual fanon for a character

She's way more interesting for it in fact #I'd personally much rather she be girl mudclaw than mapleshade 2 electric boogaloo #you don't need to come and suck all of the remaining nuance or greyness out of her with a hoover #this isn't true for the “what if reedwhisker was her dad” hc btw I like that one I think it enhances canon deliciously #rather than resting most of her evil on something she didn't even fuckin do
