Spent an unholy amount of time yesterday hitting the dummy because I couldn't figure out how to avoid drifting Starry Muse at 2m with 2.5 GCD (the woes of new gear). Testing out different combinations for Substractive Palette usage and how it affected my GCD, and coming out annoyed and frustrated.
I woke up this morning realising the basic RGB combo having a Healer-style weaving window means an RGB attack adds 1.5s not 2.5s. In a normal scenario I'm finishing my previous GCD with more or less 1s remaining for Starry Muse. Worst case I'm causing a 0.5 drift which is negligible.
I can just cast another RGB no problem. No need to clip or drift whatsoever or do very specific gcd combinations. I was needlessly complicating things lol
#I'm also being forced to consider repositioning my CMY in the hotbars#as it is they're awfully hard to hit at the start of Starry Muse which is bad in a couple scenarios#mostly Valigarmanda's 2m with the stack puddles#esp if you get late freeze you want to get out as many hardcasts as possible in the first few seconds#and I'm certain Savage is also going to have mechs that ask you to hardcast immediately
