every year I’m like “I should do something for my birthday next year” and then it’s january and I’m just too tired and it’s cold and no one can make it anyway and I don’t. BUT a friend took me out for a really nice dinner at alinea (and I made myself feel less guilty about her giving me such an expensive gift by covering the wine lol) and my sister is coming up to visit for a couple days next week and somebody left a really nice comment on one of my fics so overall it was pretty good this year. 😎
