Spent the last little while rereading a fic I started just shy of a decade ago and going 'dang, this is actually pretty good. Like I need to rewrite it if I'm gonna keep going, but GOOD JOB, past me, this is compelling stuff.'

#was also weird to hit the end though #because I have attempted to write what comes after what I have posted on AO3 #SO many times #I don't even want to look at the drafts folder because it's horrific but it's definitely more than 5 #and I don't mean draft revisions I mean 'times I threw out the whole chapter and started over because I couldn't make it Work #I may just give myself permission to do the very stupid thing I was planning to save for much later on #it's absurd but it's one of the Original Notions for the whole shebang so whatever #I did not survive being a suicidal adolescent to NOT have a stupid self-indulgent good time
