i did not learn anything, i refuse to improve as a person. Im going to rewatch Kuroshitsuji season 2, cause i want to character study everyone in Trancy household. I know all the cringy shit will give me -100 mental damage, but I want to search for some more stuff to overanalyze.
Last time i watched it was a decade ago and i don't remember anything from it... pray for me.

listen to me very carefully, if after
athy continuously refuses to kill anastacius with lucas' help, saying she doesn't want to turn her "dad into someone who has killed his family twice"
ana and jennette's relationship — like i get he's being a fake bitch but they totally do have a weird sort of understanding between them, like jennette has never been comfortable around randos, i mean she's nervous even around roger and kiel, but her Connection with him was so immediate?? (there's even the 'understood immediately' sfx!!!) like most of their scenes were about him comforting / reassuring her, but you can see that their talks put him at ease, too — (

) LOOK at this glorious bastard he's totally jealous when she says claude and athy are her family, what clownery is this 🌚
did y'all not see him being all pensive, wondering which of her parents jennette took after? lemme remind everyone that the strongest point aeternitas (and ana's mum too, i believe) had when turning him against claude was to make him jealous. of penelope, of claude's magic (that might make the nobles / his father favour claude over him). but now he has a child, his own flesh and blood, someone who he didn't "steal" like he did penelope, someone who should naturally side with him, believe in him. but by his own doing, his own child comes to replace him with claude.
okok can we talk about the scene with the snow globe thingy? that was the first time ana/nitas used magic in a way that would affect her rather than just claude/athy. this time, she's part of the equation, too. ana's character from the beginning was shown to have a sort of sense of responsibility for dependants, like that scene with baby claude where he tries cheering him up after the empress abused him. there's also the one with claude's mother, where she's too weak to fight back and he lets her die naturally(?). maybe he sees little claude in jennette, in the way she's pretty much alone? the only person who listens to her, and the only one to notice or care, is him, and that only bc he has ulterior motives.
so maybe it's pity, maybe he doesn't want jennette to lose her innocence the way baby claude did, maybe he wants to be recognized as her father, idk. but for someone like him, that's a damn well redeemable quality so if
this dumbass doesn't get a redemption arc i will riot
