honestly at this point if you don't know what the seven mountains mandate is your analysis of american politics is worthless
#just. so many people talking about the election like it was decided by people who might theoretically have voted for harris#but instead voted for trump#and like. no trump had a fixed number who were gonna vote for him no matter what and the democrats needed to turn out more than that#but you are never going to convince his base to vote blue. 16% of the country thinks the democrats are satan-worshipping child traffickers#and 40 percent of american christians believe in the seven mountains mandate! which originated from the movement trump's pastor is part of!#and please understand that to be a christian by evangelical standards you just have to say the magic words and not be queer. trump qualifie#but yeah the seven mountains mandate involves a belief that christian theocrats must take over the u.s. government so jesus can come back#and like this grew out of the same decades-long movement that succeeded in overturning roe v wade! we /have/ to take this seriously!!!
