what nobody warns you about when it comes to watching Xena is that even though it is very good when it's bad it's BAD bad
#tell me it gets better again after s3 I am having The Worst time#granted I am watching it with someone who lost her son a couple years ago#so 1. that plotline is not something we wanted from our goofy adventure of the week show#and 2. makes it incredibly hard to even root for Xena and Gabrielle's bond anymore#but the writing's just been oof in general#which is a shame bc we loved every second of the first 2 seasons#xwp
