i feel like i'm a bad teacher
#tia text#tia teaches#i keep flip-flopping between ''i'm the worst teacher ever. most of my kids are still low in math''#and ''i'm not a fucking miracle worker. 75% of my class was below grade level in math & they've made growth''#a bunch of my kids met their goals & made growth on the stupid MAP test but their scores still suck#that's still 75% of my class being below grade level#just. feeling very down on myself rn#i inherited the lowest batch of fifth graders in terms of math#two of my absolute lowest jumped out of the RTI tier this season#but it will never feel like enough haha
