Saint-14 and Atlas talk

Usual warnings of grammar and swearing.

Atlas walks down one of the many streets of the Last City as the chilly evening air blows around him, he makes it to a nice looking house and heads up onto the porch and knocks on the door.

The door opens and a Ghost greets him. "Atlas welcome, come in!"

"Hello Geppetto, where's Saint?" Atlas asks

"He's in the office, go up the stairs and it's the second door on the left."

"Thank you."

Atlas heads up the stairs as Geppetto closes the door and he sees the door to the office open so he walks in. "You wanted to see me Saint?" Atlas questions after the door closes behind him

Saint who had just removed his helmet places it down on the floor next to him and glowing purple optics meet blue eyes. "Yes I want to know if you have found any trace of Osiris?"

Atlas lets out a deep sigh and heads over to a small golden pyramid statue that Osiris always lets him fidget with since it can rotate. "Unfortunately I have found no trace of him either." He picks up the pyramid and starts fidgeting with it then turns to look at the older Titan. "There's literally nothing anywhere, with you I was able to follow tiny scraps of your light."

"I understand and I didn't know that pyramid did that." Saint replies

The two sit in silence for a minute before Saint stands up and heads over to Atlas.

"How've you been taking this since I know Osiris meant a lot to you, I believe he sorta unofficially adopted you?." Saint asks

"I wouldn't say all that, he was there when everyone else was busy even if it was just me sitting on an arm of the Sundial as it slowly spun around." Atlas tells Saint

"Where was Faire and Ruin at?"

"Faire was trying to be in retirement and she had her hands full with newly rezzed Aryden-2 and Deimos. Ruin being the only Guardian close to Master Nightstalker was basically ordered to help those Hunters who were having problems with their class, they were mostly new rezzes but there were a couple of older Guardians who decided they wanted to try to be a Nightstalker."

"Can you please tell me more about your time with Osiris?"

Atlas starts with how Sagira was found knocked out on Mars, borrowed ("Stole." Drachen chimed in) Drachen's body and how it eventually led them to facing Panoptes.

"Wait, you fought one of the most powerful Vex Minds?" Saint asks shocked

"I've fought a lot of Vex minds, other than Quira and Panoptes, the most deadly one I've thrown hands with is Atheon."

"You must tell me about your fight with the other Vex minds later but please continue with fighting Panoptes."

"It wasn't easy to hold him off from winning but Osiris eventually popped in and with his reflections helped me take down Panoptes, stupid giant Vex got slapped down by two Guardians." Atlas snarls the last part

"I'm happy to learn the reasoning why you always look at the person who mentions Vex Minds with pure hatred."

"I made Panoptes my bitch."

Saint shakes his head and eventually Atlas continues sharing his memories.

"Eventually Osiris told me how he lost you in the Infinite Forest so I decided to see if I could find you since Panoptes had a hard time tracking me when I chased him."

"And you found me twice."

"It wasn't easy and I was so thrilled when I found you the first time but I got quickly disappointed that you were a younger version, the second time I made sure that you weren't going to die."

"Which I'm grateful for."

"While you were making your way out of the Infinite Forest I decided to go talk to Osiris and see if he needed help with anything else which he did so I went to go deal with stuff for him, this became something I did multiple times a week and eventually I would show up just to chill with him or listen to him go on about the Vex. I guess eventually he started liking me enough that he chose to unofficially adopt me." Atlas ends his memory

"I'm surprised he did because Osiris is very picky when it comes to allowing people to get close to him." Saint says

"I must have reminded him of you or something like that."

"I think that plays a small part but you clearly got past Osiris's barriers which not many people do."

"I don't know how but it was nice to learn from such a respected Warlock and for him to trust me enough to confess a few of his large mess ups, it was even more nice when he would let me cuddle into him because I was having a sensory overload." Atlas tells Saint

"Don't forget about the few times Osiris covered you up with the outer layer of his robes." Drachen chimes in

"What?" Saint asks

"Oh yeah, I fell asleep a decent distance away from him at the Sundial because I was exhausted and when I woke up I had his robes over me like a blanket." Atlas explains

"I got a video that I can send to Geppetto." Drachen says

"Please do." Saint asks with a smile

"Alright, the video has been transferred."

"Thank you Drachen."

Geppetto shows Saint the video which the man absolutely adores watching Osiris walk up to Atlas sleeping, taking his own outer layer of Warlock robes off and covering the sleeping Titan with them.

The two Titans continue sharing their memories of Osiris well into the night which has Atlas falling asleep in the guest bedroom. The next day Saint and Atlas went into the living room and sat down to talk more.

"You should show him the necklace." Drachen encourages

"What necklace?" Saint questions

Atlas reaches under his shirt and pulls out a necklace that has many small disk-like things. "Osiris made me this after he unofficially adopted me, he also handed me one of the many pyramids that twist he also made. Said that these should help me stop fidgeting with my armor."

"This necklace proves that Osiris cared for you, not many people get one. Actually it was only Ikora and myself who owned one." Saint informs Atlas reaching into his shirt to grab his own necklace of disks, purple metal and in the middle a red mental Phoenix feather.

"Not many people actually know I have this, Faire, Shaxx and Ruin obviously know. Deimos, Aryden, and Ikora know. Cayde knew before he passed. Zavala wasn't pleased but got over it when Faire snapped at him."

Saint nods then gives Atlas a serious look. "Atlas if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask me because you're Osiris's kid, I'll do my best to take over your care until Osiris comes back."

"Wait, I thought you were already my sorta parent since you're with Osiris."

Saint smiled as best as an exo could. "I was already watching over you but I wanted to know if you were okay with it."

"Of course I'm okay with it, hell more dads is the best!" Atlas grins

"Remind me again who are the others?" Saint asks

"Obviously Zavala, Osiris, and you. Of course I call you and Osiris Bird grandpa 1.0 and 2.0 because I like the nicknames."

"What about Saladin?"

"That's Wolf grandpa!" Atlas exclaims excitedly

"Now is that just a nickname or do you consider him as your grandfather?"

"That's Faire's dad so he's grandpa." Atlas explains

"What about Lady Efrideet?"

Atlas gets a grin on his face, Saint compares it to one of the city children who's done something naughty. "That's Wolf grandma!"

Saint chuckles. "Does she know about that nickname?"

"Yeah, she doesn't like it but she loves me enough to let me keep calling her that name."

Saint and Atlas talk all day and only stopping to eat or for Atlas to use the bathroom.
