Possible Tommy Kinard Timeline

tl;dr I think Tommy is in his mid-40s.

1977 - 1979: Possible birth years. 1994 - 1998: He'd join Army Aviation right out of high school, which was a six year commitment at the time (plus time for training). It potentially could have been 17 with a waiver and a GED? (There's also the possibility that he didn't complete his full commitment for some reason, which would knock a few years off.) ~25-26 when he's done. 2005: After that, he joins the LAFD, and he's there for at least a year, imo (since he isn't being treated like a probie) before Chimney Begins. ~26-28

2008: Hen joins the 118. ~29-31

2014: Bobby joins as Captain of the 118. ~35-37

2017: We're not actually told when Tommy transfers to Harbor; it's implied to be 2017, when Buck joins, but isn't stated. Let's say 2017. ~37-40

2024: And fast forward to 2024, when he'd be ~45-47.

That all said, I squished some of that down (the potential waiver thing, how long he'd been with the LAFD before Chimney joined), but I think it's plausible, especially if he didn't complete his commitment with the Army. I also didn't consider the possibility that his time in the Army was all in reserve service.
