So, uh, you regularly use your bullet journal, huh? If you don't mind me asking, any tips on keeping up with one? Asking for a friend of course. -dd anon
Not so much tips, but I'll tell you what works for me:
I don't use one of those Leuchtturm notebook type things? I use a binder. I have an A5 (5.83 x 8.27 in, since I know the US doesn't use As for their papers, I don't think) leather binder and I have a set of blue plastic A5 file type binders on my shelf.
I use a binder because my brain does not like the rigidity of the notebook style. If I fuck it up, I'm just...stuck with it? If I want to add a habit tracker before my weekly spread, if I've already done my weekly spread I can't. If I want to have a certain note section (like my RegEx reference sheet) close at hand, it can only be where I put it.
I bought a 3 - 3 hole punch and a box of A5 paper that's lasted me since 2018 so far, and I put pages in and out as I want.
I put stickers/designs on my binder to personalize it.
I enjoy art, a lot, so I treat my bujo as a pretty good way of doing some art and enjoying myself. So, towards the middle of every month (usually; I totally fucked this up in April and ended up doing my May spread literally on the fly week-to-week) I open my Pinterest board and I scroll through my sections and decide what kind of design I want to do for the next month. This month (June) is watermelon. It came out real cute. Last month I did a ship/nautical theme, but as it was such a rush I didn't really do a lot of it. I did the main cover page and the weeklies were all black with no real embellishments. I try to do a pretty spread for weeklies and a nice cover every month. I also do a dividing section of a nice "Welcome, [Season]" page to help remind my brain where we are in the year, a little.
I have some tabbed dividers I put in my bujo. Behind the first is my year-round stuff, so I have things like what I've watched, what I've achieved, subs on my currently abandoned Sims yt channel (see: internet being 500kb/s), plans and intentions for the year, year at a glance etc. I did all of my 2022 yearly pages last December. Behind the second divider is the month I'm currently in. If I do the next month soon enough, it goes right after. Behind the third divider is all the other months. So right now my bujo goes: 2022 | June | January | February | March | April | May | Notes Section. This way the current month is always at the front and easily accessible, and my year round is on hand too.
I have a three-surface set-up in my shoebox room. My main desk, with my monitor and keyboard etc, is front, then to the left I have my art desk I can turn around and work at. Behind me I have a trolley I built a couple of months ago. Because I have spare surface room and a spot I spend the majority of my time, my bujo lives, open to today/this week, beside my keyboard, permanently. Specifically, mine is directly to the right (as I use my mouse left-handed), always where I can see it, in front of whatever tea I am currently drinking and my water bottle. It's always there. No out-of-sight-out-of-mind allowed. I used a ring-bound notebook briefly last year before I bust my bujo back out properly and any day I moved it, I forgot it existed. So, my bujo lives right here. I don't go out so it doesn't go anywhere. Sometimes it gets moved to my bed so I can make a note I need to make, but it always goes back where it came from immediately. I think this is the most important point for me tbh.
Because my binder can't hold endless amounts of paper, when a 6-month period ends I take those six months out and put them in one of the plastic binders on my shelf. The second six months go after it, along with the year pages, and that binder becomes the year binder. I haven't fully done this yet, as I've only really perfected managing to keep my bujo up this year (but I've kept it up since January 1st, and since November if you include my using my notepad briefly), but I have my old pages in one of them. It works for me.
I start the next month/year early, so my brain can't trick me by going, "Oh, you can't use your bujo, you didn't finish it." And if I fail at that like I did in April for May, I just bully my brain into letting me manage for a month. It's not the end of the world.
There is apparently a text block limit so, here's a break to see some of my pages/designs etc:
The nautical one for May was somewhat hastily done (I colored it in later, but I don't have a photo rn) and I'm sad about that. Might do another nautical one later this year, who knows.
I experiment every month. Different colors, different theme, different style, different hand-written fonts, different vibes, different experimentation. Keeps it fresh and makes me look forward to the next month. I don't do it in bulk for the whole year because idk what I'll be into by August, and because I'll be bored of whatever I did by then.
Every month I do a cover and my weekly spread. Those are my only requirements, but I can do more if I want to.
I experimented with the best way to do weekly spreads early this year. January I did boxes but no dutch door, February (up there) I did dutch door with no boxes. I hated the no boxes, I really like having things tidily put together? But I loved dutch door because I could put a little calendar on one side and notes/goals/to-dos/whatever where I could see them week to week without having to turn pages! Once I figured that out, my weekly spreads were easier to draw out and easier to use, and I could still experiment with the design (sometimes I cut out the side, sometimes the bottom, maybe next month I'll do the top! Who knows?) and have fun with it. The only month since February I haven't done dutch-door is last month and that was because I was literally doing each week on the fly in panic. I was doing the week I was on as I was on it the one week, it was a disaster lmao
I bought a snazzy rainbow bookmark and hole punched it and I use that to keep my page in my bujo, so I can get back to it easy when I have to close it (my ducks throw water everywhere when they're up here with me)
I have a simple key for my goals etc. Circles for things I need to do, circles with a clockface for things that are on a time-limit, circles with a > for things I'm bumping to another day, crossed out circles for things I no longer have to do for whatever reason. I fill in the circles when I've done the thing, which is great for my brain, and because my bujo and pens are right next to me, I can do it easily on the go.
Squares (with the same basic pattern) are for things I'd quite like to do but they're not pressing to-dos, just a good idea.
I added some other simple keys for things I use sometimes. I have a little pill capsule for logging any meds I take beside my normal (so the last 5 weeks I've been adding a little "💊 Elvanse [x]mg, #/7" so I know which day of my titration I'm on and which level I'm on. If I take a nytol or a melatonin or ibuprofen, I can write that down if I feel I should). A little bell is an event. An exclamation with a heart for its dot is a note. I had other ones but I've never used them.
This month I added a little side piece to my daily boxes. I put a ☀ and a 🌙 and under each I put, with my tiny little 0.05 fineliner (which I use for any writing I do in my bujo, to-dos etc) little daily to-dos of brushing my teeth, doing my skincare, taking my meds morning and night. It was a fun experiment and it's working for me, so I'll continue it next month! If it didn't work and I didn't use it, that's okay, it was just an experiment!
When the end of the month comes, at the end of the last day of the month I write out how the month went, either on a sheet I set up in advance all pretty, or just a normal plain sheet I add. I say what worked (dutch door, little suns and moon sections), what didn't work (no boxes, leaving it until the last moment) and what I want to change next month (add a mood tracker to my dutch door? not write week when I meant month?), then I move that entire month to the back of the second section, where I can get to it if I need to, and write out my to-dos for the next day.
I write tomorrow's to-dos before bed every night when I'm ticking off my meds, and add anything I might forget to them during the day.
I also added a "PRIORITY" top section to my boxes, usually in a complimentary color (this month's colors are green, yellowgreen and pink for watermelon, so the PRIORITY is in a nice green), and I got sick of writing "PRIORITY:" repeatedly, so this month it's a cute "!:" instead, which is the same thing.
welp ran out of space again. MORE BULLETS:
I love habit trackers but they do not work for me if I have to turn a page to get to them, which is why the sun/moon is working so nicely. I might expand it next month.
If I can't see something, it just doesn't exist, so anything important has to stay within my line of vision, hence dutch door and keeping my bujo right next to me.
I don't beat myself up if I don't do all my goals, I just focus on what I did do and use it as a way of managing my working memory rather than scolding myself. Monday my goals were to work on my sewing, start July, reply to my titration nurse, write, work on the ores for my modpack, shower, and post some metas on AO3. I did 5/7 of those things and showering was a square not a circle, so it doesn't even count. I did well, and having it written down reminds me to try again tomorrow, if applicable.
If I have ^ all those on my to-do list, and then I realize I need to, idk, clean my desk, I will add cleaning my desk to the list, so I can tick it off as done when I've done it, even if I'm already halfway through.
I've talked around this a few times but I'mma say it plainly: if something isn't working for me I discard it and try something else. Habit tracker? Gone and incorporated into the dailies. Mood tracker? Put it on my dutch door this month and have forgotten it most of the time, so I might put it on the left side (closest) instead of the right side next month and see if that helps? Too tired to do anything complex? Simple spread to get me through the month. Not enough energy to do a proper cover? Slap the name of the month down, color it, shove it in. Solved.
I might enjoy making pretty bujos and enjoying the artistic side of it, but it's my bujo, and aside from my parents seeing my designs when they stand by my desk, it doesn't have to be for anyone except me. All that matters is what works for me and what I enjoy.
So, the tl;dr and the tips I extrapolated from this ramble:
Experimentation with colors/designs/themes to keep it feeling new and fresh. Incorporate any hyperfixations in, if it helps (nautical theme lmao).
Discard anything that doesn't work, try new things every month until something sticks, then change its design rather than its function.
Please yourself and no one else, it's your bujo. Use it for what you need help with (working memory, in my case, rather than motivation or intense tracking of what I'm doing. I'm more likely to forget I wanted to do something to begin with, than I am to just not do it).
If you have problems like I do where you mess it up and you don't want to be stuck with it, swap to a binder you can move pages in and out of.
Keep it close and within your line of vision, open if possible.
Write down doing your bujo things on your bujo. Sounds stupid but if I write down "Start July" I have more of a chance of actually starting July than if I just imagine I'll get it done eventually.
Bookmark so you don't have to sift through pages.
Hope this maybe helps a little!

Blue Hour || Amane Yugi pt. 1/5
(Amane Yugi x Fem!Reader)
genre: romance, drama, and a bit of fantasy
summary: amane was assigned to send letters to [name] from another school for a quarterly pen pal project in their class.
"You and I found in the sky in 5:53"
Amane grabbed a white pen from his black cylindrical pencil case and wrote some finishing touches for his letter on a black sheet of paper. He doodled some stars and constellations around the paper before folding it carefully then placing it inside a navy blue envelope.
He added some photographs of stars and moon stickers inside the galaxy themed parcel that he designed a day ago. Amane smiled proudly to himself after tying the twine around the parcel, he also slides in some post cards inside the twine.
“You sure are taking this pen pal project seriously, Yugi.” Yamabuki looked over to his dark haired friend with his phone on hand. “I barely even put effort on mine.”
“Look at Yashiro's though,” Amane pointed at the cream haired girl with teal tips sitting in front of him. She was putting a lot of designs for her pen pal letter so that her assigned sender would think that she's a creative person that matches their own aesthetic. “Hey, Yashiro-san, who do you think will be your pen pal?”
“I hope my pen pal is a boy,” Yashiro sighed dreamily as Amane deadpanned at her being a simp for hot and tall guys. He used to like her back then until he realized that he wasn't good enough for her. “And while we're sending letters, we'll fall in love—”
“Okay that's enough delusions, Yashiro.” Amane raised his hand up to prevent her from speaking more of her fantasies. “I've heard enough of them.”
“What did you put in your letter?” Yashiro asked.
“Pretty much about myself, I added some stickers and post cards, just incase my future pen pal would like them.” Amane explained while counting his fingers. “Hopefully they would because I made a lot of effort in it.” he said while scratching his cheek.
“I heard that our letters will be sent to another school and students from our grade will be our pen pals.” Akane explained as he went towards Yamabuki. “If Ao-chan gets a pen pal that is a guy, then I guess I have to eliminate the offender—”
“Whoah chill, Aoi.” Yamabuki glanced up to the red head whose expression quickly changed with a scary one. “What's with the bat though—?”
“Sometimes your obsession scares me.” Amane raised a perfect brow at Akane while resting his cheek to the heel of his palm.
“You're the one to talk.” Akane slightly glared at the smaller male. “At least I have a love life.”
“Fair enough.” Amane grumbled under his breath, looking away from the distasteful Akane. “Wait, you two are dating—?”
Amane was interrupted by their homeroom teacher entering the class. “Good morning class, did you have your letters ready?” Sensei asked as he scratched his chin. “To those who didn't know yet, your letters will be delievered to another school. Expect a letter from your new pen pal on the next day or two.”
The dark haired boy feels his eyes slowly drooping, it's always like this, getting sleepy in the middle of class. The cause? Stargazing.
Amane, ever since he was a little boy, he loved the moon and stars. He would open his window at night and look into his telescope to admire the star studded sky. Looks like he stayed up a little too long before dawn, you can't really blame him, who wouldn't like stargazing.
His eyes can't take it anymore, he needed to snooze off, just for a moment to rest. Amane folded his arms on top of his desk and puts his head down to take a nap.
“The other world at 5:53 is beautiful.”
In a dusk turning into dark, there stood a glowing carousel, spinning in a clockwise motion that seemed like it was twisting forever. Amane wandered around the place, wondering why he standing in front of a lonely ride.
He felt his ears ring and the ground slightly shaking. Amane closed his eyes as he felt the wind blowing against him, then everything stopped.
Amane fluttered his eyes open and saw a girl wearing a different school uniform than theirs. She was around Yashiro's height, he estimated, but nonetheless he never seen this girl before.
In a blink of an eye, she disappeared.
Amane raised his head up immediately from the sleep and panted heavily. Beads of sweat came rolling down from his forehead, his chest rises and then it lowers for a second, and he couldn't breathe properly after that. ‘What was that?’ he thought, drawing his hand near his chest to calm his breathing. ‘Who was that?’
He was sure as hell that he was confused, having a dream about a glowing carousel and a girl wearing a school uniform, whom he had never seen before, whatever that dream was about, he felt goosebumps on his skin. Amane fixed himself, he probably looked like he ran in a marathon and never got to drink water after that.
“Amane-kun, why do you keep sleeping in class?” Yashiro asked with a stern tone like she was a mother scolding her son for doing something wrong. “You shouldn’t sleep in classes anymore, okay?” she added while handing him her notebook which contains the notes that she took during the lesson.
Yashiro, as one of Amane's friends, was concerned for the boy. She was worried about him, but that doesn't mean the cream haired girl has feelings for the choppy haired guy. Like she said, she isn’t his type. “I’ll try not to sleep in class...” Amane receives the notebook from his female friend.
“If you sleep again, I won’t lend you my notes anymore.”
“Okay okay, I won’t sleep next time.” Amane assures her in a sweat dropped expression. “But I make no promises though---”
Yashiro snorted. “By the way---” Amane was interrupted by the school bell beckoning them to go eat their lunch. He sighed, he always gets cut off whenever he says something interesting. The teenage boy slumped his shoulders before going to the rooftop to eat his food.
All alone by himself like he usually does.
Amane was puzzled by the dream he had while he was napping during class. A carousel and a girl he had never seen before, perhaps that it was a lost memory of his or he had actually seen this girl but he doesn't remember her.
He'll figure that out on his own.
The next day felt like any other day. Amane groaned loudly, waking up from his slumber (surprisingly he actually slept) and not wanting to get up from the comfortable bed that he was laying down. He buried his face on one of the pillows. ‘I don't want to wake up, I swear to god.’
“Amane, Amane—”
“What?!” Amane shot his head up and shouted fiercely at his younger twin, Tsukasa who was standing on the door with a towel wrapped around his hips.
“Wake up, we have classes!” Tsukasa reminded him. Amane sighed and slammed his face against the pillow, he felt himself close his eyes to sleep again, until Tsukasa grabbed his face and forcefully removed his brother's face from the pillow. “WAKE UP!”
“I'm up, I'm up!” Amane removed Tsukasa's hands from his face and glared at him. “Jeez, you don't have to scream on my face.” he added while getting off the bed towards the bathroom.
Amane looked into the mirror with half lidded eyes while brushing his teeth, his dark choppy hair was disheveled with few strands of hair slightly sticking out, and his long sleeved shirt that two buttons were unbuttoned where a bit of his chest is showing.
After taking a bath, Amane wrapped a towel around his torso while drying his hair with another towel. He grabbed his uniform that was hanging on the wall and wore it in a speed.
Amane notices that Tsukasa left early which is unusual since he usually leaves early leaving his brother behind. He smiled to himself before heading on to school.
When he arrived, he saw that his classmates are crowded over to his very own desk. Amane pushed his way towards them. “What's going on?” he asked.
“Letters from the other school got recently delivered.” Yashiro answered. “Your pen pal letter is here, and I must say they're very creative.”
Amane felt intrigued all of a sudden, he went to his desk to see the pen pal letter for himself and when he did, his jaw dropped.
A navy blue parcel with constellations around the paper. It was tied by a twine and dried flowers. A smile ghosted upon Amane's lips, the pen pal knew his aesthetics and his love for stars.
He gently grabbed the parcel from his desk and examined it. To Amane's surprise, he saw a tag clipped from the twine, he reads.
[name] [surname].
The name of his new pen pal.
Amane unwrapped the parcel, there's an envelope that was sealed with wax. 'Fancy' he thought to himself as he slightly sticks out his bottom lip. Other than that, there are polaroids and moon stickers, but there is one thing that caught his eye.
A thin book.
Amane picked up the book, it was an astronomy journal that [name] made for him. 'This person must have made a lot of effort, I admire that.'
Amane opened the envelope first, inside was a neatly folded letter, he carefully unfolded it using his fingers.
Hi Amane Yugi-san,
I'm [name] [surname], your pen pal for this quarter! Well I made an astronomy journal since I saw your letter talking about yourself, hope you like it though ヾ(〃^∇^)ノ
After reading the letter, a smile broke down from Amane’s visuals. His pen pal is revealed to be a girl who is a first year highschool student, like him, studying from Sanaol Academy, which is far from Kamome.
Time flew by like a shooting star in a dark blue sky, Amane went home feeling giddy to write his response to [name]. When he got to his room he immediately grabbed a lot of art materials to work on the letter.
Hello [name]-san,
Thanks for the journal, I love the contents inside of it. Anyways, I hope we'll meet someday and talk about the stars together! I have a playlist where you can listen while stargazing hehe~
Amane smiled to himself, resting his cheek to the heel of his palm while writing his letter to [name]. Maybe this pen pal project isn't going to be bad after all.
Meanwhile in [name]'s side, she was sitting on her swivel chair with a cheeky smile on her face while reading Amane's letter. The strands of her hair are falling to her hair, admiring his words.
“[name], dinner's ready!”
“Coming!” [name] grinned before going downstairs to eat dinner with her family.
“The door of my dreams unreal, you from my memories become real”

Hi! This is our introduction and FAQ post. We’ll keep this updated every now and again so feel free to check it for the most recent info!
Basic Info
First off, you can call us Calico and Bambi! We’re both in our early 20s, we’re both trans men and use he/him pronouns, we’re both autistic, we’re both artists, and we’re husbands!
Calico collected LPS toys as a kid in the early 2000s, and Bambi got into LPS toys just recently in the past few years!
Calico’s Profile:
I’m an autistic, gay, trans man! I have a list of diagnoses, but the ones that I’m most comfortable sharing on this blog are DPD, CFS, CPTSD, and severe anxiety. I’m a certified veterinary assistant, and I’m currently pursuing a college degree to become a funeral director/embalmer (Since it’s a little bit of a debate, I’ll note that I don’t mind the terms mortician/undertaker. I casually refer to it as mortician, myself).
Some of my first LPS toys were #2 - #16. I have many of the gen 1 toys, along with some of gen 2 and gen 3. My collection came exclusively from Walmart, (save for a few special mail order ones gotten by filling out a sticker sheet) so I don’t have any of the Target/Toys R Us/etc. exclusives sadly!
My top 10 favorites that I own in no particular order are #21, #49/#99, #88, #102, #185, #396, #488, #1013, #1395, and of course #1461 from the blog’s icon!
My biggest dream pets would be the bear from Extreme Pets: Mod pets (no #), #2512, #1695, #1819, and most of all #2114!
Bambi’s Profile:
[Still under construction]
Bambi is also autistic, gay, and a trans man! He feels comfortable sharing that he has NPD and ASPD. Bambi is currently a hobbyist taxidermist, but he’d aim for a career in it some day.
Bambi doesn’t have any LPS toys of his own yet, but Calico’s collection is open to him and basically works as his own when/if he wants to enjoy it.
Things This Blog Does
Currently due to life circumstances, we can’t be as consistent with content as we’d like to be. Sorry for the random hiatuses and spotty scheduling that we’ll have kind of indefinitely :c
In addition to making moodboards and stimboards (and maybe even art) of LPS toys at request or whim, every Friday is going to be Featured Friend Friday! Whichever pet is the Featured Friend of the week will get their very own post, usually with a stimboard to match! Sometimes we might also add commentary on what we think their interests would be, or what we think their name should be, or whatever ideas pop into our heads when we see the pet!!
Tiny FAQ
Why do you want [x pet]?:
Calico: My dream pets are either because I generally find their design really appealing and it makes me happy, or because it reminds me of Bambi!
Bambi: [pending]
Why is [x pet] a favorite?:
Calico: Dunno! All of them are ones that I had as a kid and just ended up really attached to. I could probably expand my favorites list to be around 20 pets long if I wanted to!
Bambi: [pending]
Why Calico and Bambi? Why #1461 and #2114?:
Calico: I made really elaborate stories with my LPS toys as a kid, and I would self insert using #1461 as a representation of myself for whatever reason! So I thought that would be fun to bring back for this blog.
Bambi: [pending]
Who can interact?: As a general rule of thumb, everyone but terfs/radfems/gender crits or nazis/neo nazis/alt-right can interact. Getting more into the details, we don’t accept interaction from anyone with bigoted or abusive content in their blog. If you promote unprompted violence, abuse, or hate against completely innocent and undeserving parties, DNI. We want this blog to be as inclusive as possible to all types of LPS lovers, but hate groups and abusers are a hard limit and will be blocked on sight. We also reserve the right to block any blogs that sketch us out in general; nothing personal.
Can I make a request?: YES!! Request whatever you’d like! We can’t promise that we’ll be the most timely getting to requests depending on our mental health and life situation, but feel free to request whatever! As vague as “can you make an aesthetic for [pet]?” or as specific as “stim board of paint mixing for trans masc [pet] who likes the woods and the color orange”! We don’t mind!
Are there things you won’t make?: Calico has trypophobia and there will be the occasional request he can’t fulfill because of it (honeycomb, whole lotus root, and barnacle clusters are all immediate examples). Bambi is very uncomfortable with images of hamsters and North American possums, so those won’t be appearing on our blog for the foreseeable future. Also, obviously, we won’t do anything outright bigoted or offensive (ex: we won’t be making an antisemetic pride stimboard for a pet or something else horrible like that)
Why did you make this blog?:
Calico: I’ve never seen people do moodboards or stimboards for LPS pets before, and the LPS blogs that I have found have stricter DNIs (and that’s perfectly valid!). I want this blog to be open to anyone who needs a little bit of LPS niceness. I don’t want anyone to feel excluded from their comfort for things that are oftentimes out of their control.
Is that last part passive aggressive?:
Calico: No, not at all!! I think that people should be comfortable in their own spaces! That’s why instead of sending anons nagging other blogs to loosen their DNIs, or encouraging others to disrespect their boundaries and interact without regard, I made a blog where the OP isn’t made uncomfortable by very much, so that you can interact knowing you aren’t crossing boundaries!
We’ll add on as needed as people ask stuff, but that’s all for now! Thanks for reading this long post (if you did) and we hope that this blog will be nice for everyone! We’ll see you!

Cutie Reviews: Kawaii Box May 19
Before I begin I have an announcement: later/tomorrow I plan to post a sort of... glossaryish post that will be about ALL the boxes I subscribe to :D Because earlier today it occurred to me, I never really talk about the brands themselves anymore unless they have some update or if I complain in my reviews. I thought this type of post would be nice for anyone who just wanted to learn more about a specific box to see if they would be interested in it. I will also be including my own opinions on the box as a whole, pros and cons, how the box has changed, etc.
So if you like things like that, then make sure you come back soon!
Until then, we’re gonna focus on this:
Word of the month: Tanjyoubi - Birthday
Disney Princess Dress-Up Puffy Stickers
Our first item is a set of Disney Princess Ariel/Little Mermaid stickers. Covered to the brim with stickers, this sheet has multiple outfits, accessories/props, and deco bits to have fun with the sticker doll and then-some!
Besides Ariel, there are other Disney Princess and I’ve even seen they added a really cute Minnie mouse one on Blippo.com. Those in this set each cost $3.90.
I was really torn between all 3 dresses, the turquoise one was a classic for Ariel, and I love how the pink one reminded me of Aurora, but I actually settled for the purple one because I though it looked really pretty on her. Then I chose the shell purse and matching decoration/accessory and a light pink sash to add more to her dress, what do you think?
While on the subject, which dress would you have chose for her? Or would you have given her a different colored dress entirely?
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
It’s really simple, but it’s also pretty fun and cute, I love dress-up stickers because of how creative you can be. I mentioned this before but I really want to start a scrapbook or photobook and fill it entirely with dress-ups~
The stickers puffiness is nice and soft, and I like how these don’t feel finished. So I could go back to it a few days later and swap out her purse and hair piece to make her classier with a sun hat. Or I could give her the turquoise dress if I wanted.
Sanrio Ziptop Bag Set
Next up is this pack of adorable Pompompurin zipper bags. You get 6 in total, including 3 Small 70mm x100mm, and 3 Medium 160mm x 190mm. Each set offers different designs, and besides Pompompurin (who I couldn’t find on blippo btw) there was also the other basic characters like my Melody, Gudetama, Little Twin Star. Each set costs $5.90.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I think these are really cute, and practical :D according to the back of the package you could put all sorts of things in these, and I like that both sets are zip-locks. These would be a perfect gift for any Pompompurin fan.
Kawaii Dreams File
This is the monthly Exclusive item, a file folder featuring a variety of kawaii designs and items you can find on the Kawaii Box box and booklet, with the inside panel being white and pink to match the box’s color scheme. It’s kinda small-medium, about the size of the booklet that comes in each box, and it’s a little flimsy, but for most part it feels durable and sturdy.
You can buy this off of Blippo for $2.90.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I usually don’t look forward to getting these files in the boxes because as cute as they are, they’re always big and bent. This one fits in the box with no problem, so I feel like even though you would need to fold certain things into it, it’s more practical. I also like how despite how colorful and busy it looks, it doesn’t feel too-busy.
Soft Jell Rainbow Gel Pen Set
I loved gel pens growing up x3 my friends and I loved to draw on our things and each other during class (but only when we weren’t actually doing anything important <3< I wasn’t a model student but I didn’t get into trouble either), and I remember just admiring the massive rainbow collection my friend had; she must have had at least 100!
My collection was much smaller and modest though, I only had a few glittery metallic ones and a couple multicolored pastels. So for someone who used to love these, getting a whole pretty set like this just made my day~
It’s also pretty rare for us to get a whole set of anything in the boxes. If you’ve seen my prior reviews (or check out the items on blippo) its usually just one separate of your choosing. This set costs $6.90.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
The colors are vibrant and really pretty, as you can see I did decorate the box with them which in hindsight might not have been the best thing to do, but they still worked once the ink got flowing. They’re juicy and are capable of long lines, writing, dots, coloring.
My only complaint is that both blues (or I suppose you could say one is indigo? Turquoise?) look almost exactly alike. It’s the same in the actual pens, but there’s still a noticeable difference until you go to use them both, so I wish they would have darkened or lightened one of them to make the difference more noticeable.
Cute Animal Friend Masking Tape & Nekoni Cherry Blossoms Badge
For our next items, I got bunnies for both ♥
First is an adorable pastel bunny washi tape that consists of a kawaii bunny doing some silly actions. I would have taken out a piece to show the design, but when I unraveled a long, long amount of it I saw no end to the pattern >3< like it kept going, there was no repeat bunnies. Each bunny was cuter, or sillier than the last.
There are several varieties you could get, and you can guy them in sets of 4 for $5.90 on Blippo.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Well besides being very cute and silly to look at, I like how this doesn’t seem to be repetitive like most tapes. I’m sure it starts repeating somewhere but for now, I just think it would be cute to use them individually as little emoji icons, like for notes or letters or something.
-----
From the brand Nekoni are these adorable pastel badges with cherry blossom designs, ranging from animals, a human girl, scenery, and adorable foods. Each badge costs $1.90.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
It’s very cute, but there isn’t really much I can say about a badge other than the fact it seems to be fine quality. There was no problems with it or anything to complain about.
Cute Stationery Buddy
This probably would have been better suited for a school theme- but you also use stuff like this to decorate :P so, our next item is an adorable, soft but firm plush themed after various stationery items. There are 7 in total, each with a ball chain and costing $4.90.
I really hope I’m not the only person, but when I saw this (and even now) I think of a snail; it’s a roll of tape! I was so surprised initially but now that I’ve had it for a while I’ve been seeing it more.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Again, I find myself with little to say. It’s really cute though, and the quality is nice, there’s no obvious flaws or issues.
Yogurt Jelly Hair Clip Set
In comparison to stationery, we always get sets of hair clips so I’m happy about that :3 I love their kawaii hair clips and accessories, they’re usually always one of my most favorite items~
Anyway, this set is themed after yogurt jelly and features a small translucent clip attached to a clear, colorful, glittery yogurt jelly attached to it, each with labels, a colorful lid, and a tiny lotte written in the corner. These come in several cute color schemes, each set costs $2.90.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
As I’ve been saying this entire review, these are very cute. They’re also well made, in that the pieces don’t feel loose or flimsy, which has been in a problem with one or two past-sets I’ve gotten, but you can easily fix that with some good glue. I was also very happy to get a very pink set, but you couldn’t go wrong with any of them in my opinion!
DIY Fruity Doodle Pen & Flower Candy
Our last item is this cute little fruity doodle set. Technically I don’t consider this to be a DIY considering you’re just spreading gel on the gummies, but it’s very cute and I really wanted to try it. I started seeing it like a year or two ago?
It’s available on Blippo for $3.50.
As you can see, I got tons of yellow gummies, along with a single pink, and two blues. The gel is supposed to be sour, but it’s actually very light- it reminds me a lot of strawberry jello/gelatin. The gummies are individually flavored, and this is what I thought:
Yellow - might be apricot? It tastes a lot like the apricot jelly filling in the mochi I buy from the mall.
Blue - my favorite, tastes like blue raspberry.
Pink - no flavor I could pick up, just sweetness.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
As I said, I’m not sure this is entirely a DIY so I didn’t make a separate post on it. All you do is apply the jelly, which I thought actually tasted the best out of everything in the set, but it was very tasty and cute overall, I just wish the colors/flavors of the flowers were more varied.
♥ Cutie Ranking ♥
Content - 5 out of 5: I’m not sure they were all my absolute favorite or anything, but I did genuinely like everything we got this month. I found no quality issues or problems, plenty of variety in both the types of items, and for each item. A very practical and fun box. Some items were fairly pricey though, and I’m not sure if I agreed with some of those. Also, we got one item less than usual, which I assume has something to do with the price?
Theme - ????? out of 5: I found this Happy Birthday theme to be extremely open and up for interpretation, so I had I’m not sure how I feel about how they did on it. On one hand I could say “yes, these are items you could use for gifts or decoration for a birthday“, but on another I’d say “sakura badges and yogurt hair clips don’t make me think of a birthday.”
Total Rank: 8.5 out of 10 Cuties. I liked the items, and I can see why they chose the theme they did, but because of how open it is, I’m not sure how my feelings are towards it. The items worked great and I would recommend mostly all of them. I’m not sure this is my favorite box though...
(I’m sorry but I ended up skipping the last part of this review, I was fine this entire time but towards the end things got really busy in the house and I’m not feeling well at the time. I would have went to lay down but my laptop has been weird lately and I didn’t want to risk losing the work T^T sorry if you were looking forward to that part.)

I am back! After a 2-week illness break, I am finally back on my feet and here with a brand new setup! Who’s excited?!
Thank you so very much for your patience, love and support – I missed you!! Oh man, it feels so good to be back with my own 😉 Let’s see what is new!
I am kicking off a new year with a brand new Leuchtturm1917 in black colour AND its new Navigator black cover! I LOVE this setup so much and you will see the whole thing in 2018 setup soon!!
This welcome page has been decorated by blending 3 distress inks – Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers (my very favourite!). I have used a blending tool, regular masking tape to protect the monthly calendar and a piece of laminated paper to help spreading the ink evenly on a sponge attached to a blending tool handle.
Monthly calendar will be probably used as a colour-coded guide to our blog posts & videos. You can also track your wellness on this front page, so it is right in front of your eyes!
First spread is my old-time favourite, monthly log and goal setup. In January, we are keeping the monthly log at the top along with monthly tasks to the right. As always, we have four goal sections – Business, Personal, Home & Family, BTS Community. Now, Community can be also understood as a general public – you could set some community service goals here too! In addition to these goals, I have added Doing, Learning, Reading, Enjoying section as well – it will help with self-development and feels wonderful to look back at these pages for reference in the future.
Mini monthly calendar on the right page is for scheduling our blog posts & YouTube videos – it helps me to map out what topics I want to cover and when.
And in the right corner are upcoming tasks/events with a mini February calendar. I also left some space next to it for notes as I was missing this in December.
You will be familiar with the Welness log that you can see on the right but there is a whole new page for keeping you on track with your monthly/yearly goals. Starting with Finances for keeping an eye on your financial situation and focusing on what will hugely affect your near future, proceeding to Open business from previous month/week, people or companies you want to Contact this month, to Obstacles that are awaiting you on the way to your accomplishments.
I love this horizontal monthly tracker that is available at our BTS Joy on paper Etsy shop. It is universal, so you can use it any time throughout the year (there is also a larger vertical version if you prefer that one), just write the day letters right above the date numbers like I did here. You can track up to 14 tasks and at the moment, I have 13 things that are different from what I have on a weekly tracker:
walking
yoga
meditation
doggies out
bed by 9pm – NEW
nails – NEW
goal progress – NEW
no spend – NEW
365 photo challenge – NEW
relax
KonMari something – NEW
backup website – NEW
organize photos – NEW
.
Below the tracker, there is our Between the steps Community growth log – I do have a separate business bullet journal where I keep all of these statistics but it was something that I was missing in my regular planner! I know that you love seeing our Community grow too and you will be able to view this from now on ♥
Where am I winning page is where you can record your personal and professional wins! Nothing is too small as long as YOU see it as a win.
Monthly memory page has been combined with a mood tracker that is also available as a free printable in our Between the steps Community library for your personal use. It will look fantastic once coloured in! There are exactly 31 elements – stars, snow and trees – and I will be using my Tombow dual brush pens for colouring (no.020, 553, 451, 452, N89, N60). The moon itself can be coloured in however you like 😉
There are four weeks in January and we are trying a new design (kind of). I wanted to spice up our traditional weekly layouts a bit so instead of using a regular black Pigma Micron for sketching the borders, I used a Tombow dual brush pen no. N60! Do you like it? The grey colour fits January perfectly, I think. We shall see how it works and I will probably use blue colour for the second week. Yes, sounds like a good plan. You will definitely be able to see the colour progress on our Instagram!
Things got moved around a bit, so weekly goals are now on the left side along with weekly tasks and a weekly tracker (check out the library). And on this tracker, you can find 12 things that I like to keep an eye on:
greet the day – NEW
skincare
wear make-up – NEW
smile & laugh
haircare
study/read
skill practise
healthy shake
unplug by 8pm – NEW
365 photo challenge – NEW
BTS Joy on paper
social media
.
The empty space on the right is for any notes, doodling, decorating, quotes, motivation, weekly schedule, reminders etc. And I have decorated the pages with a couple of stickers from the Winter Joy sticker sheet 🙂
Because I am using this notebook for 2018 planning only (journaling will be kept in a separate notebook), I designed the daily boxes so there is some space for weather icons and the word of the day (bottom grey line). It will look real pretty when filled in!
And here is the last page of January setup – monthly review!
Every week, I will be asking myself a couple of questions – What worked well? How can I multiply these results? This is going to be very helpful and eye-opening at times. Have you tried this before? You know that I love questions and keep asking you every time. So, have you?
Projects completed and Still in the works are sections inspired by Your Best Year 2018 book written by Lisa Jacobs – I have built my 2018 setup on this book as there are many helpful hints and ropes you can use to achieve your goals, plus, I wanted to focus on one thing only and see how it works!
One of the questions to ask yourself when doing a monthly/weekly review is Am I closer to my annual goals? If not, why not? What is holding you back? How can you get closer? Can you reach out to somebody? Can you push yourself harder? How can you make progress more efficiently?
It’s a game of questions that I like to play and the challenge is to play it regularly. Face the truth, take responsibility. More in our 2017 planning series…
February setup will follow right after these January pages. Like I said before, journaling will be kept separately. So, are you ready to start a new year?

First of all I would like to say a massive thank you to Rebecca over at www.properpost.co.uk for sending me this box. This box is the perfect mix of two of my favourite vices… Subscription boxes and stationery.
Proper post is a little different from the usual run of the mill stationery subscription box in the way it works, not only is it a surprise stationery box each month, but will also help you remember those all important birthdays which we are all guilty of forgetting occasionally when day-to-day life gets in the way. Each month proper post will e-mail with a reminder of the birthdays you have coming up in the next two months and you can then pick 2 cards from a vast array of their own proper post brand greetings cards and along with these you will also receive a surprise selection of themed stationery items to compliment your chosen cards.
I unboxed this Live on the BoXession Facebook Group, which is now available to view on our YouTube Channel…
This month’s box or envelobox/boxelope (a box in the shape of an envelope that fits perfectly through your letterbox) (no waiting in for the postie or pesky red cards through your letterbox with this sub) contained a collaboration with Lulu Guinness, the British Fashion Designer famed for her bold feminine prints and handbag and accessory collections. A very exciting collaboration for any small business and very exciting for anyone subbing I am sure.
So in the box I received I had two lovely generic greetings cards with the proper post branding on them, these would be the two I chose if I had of purchased the box myself. They were both good quality card and A6 size. One was a simple but bold black and white print saying “HIP HIP HOORAY FOR TODAY” it was a very fun print and the kind of card that anyone of any age or gender would appreciate and came in a craft paper envelope embossed with the proper post logo on the back, these kind of details I really appreciate being a crafter and stationery lover. The second card was another generic birthday card also suitable for any gender or sex, including a bright rainbow print with the words HAPPY BIRTHDAY, the print kind of gives me the feel of a superhero theme, I can’t work out why but it definitely does as you can see on the photos, again this came in an envelope with the proper post logo embossed on the back.
Now I’ll tell you all about the best bits of this collection, the Lulu Guinness surprise items. Oh My Word, these are so fun and bold and feminine, I adore every little bit down to the tiny strip of lip print vinyl stickers. Firstly I saw the A2 sheet of gift wrap, a glossy fun and super feminine sheet of gift wrap that any modern women would appreciate wrapped around a gift, printed with a simple black line pattern on white glossy paper with a smattering of dainty lip prints. This gift wrap is funky and bold whilst still being understated at the same time.
Staying with this super stylish theme also included are 2 note cards, the first one is a small note card with a large red print of red lips and the words kiss kiss in a simple flowing cursive font. The second card is my favourite, a huge lip shaped card, again stylishly feminine and bold and truly divine, I want to post this card to myself in the co-ordinating Lulu Guinness envelope.
My favourite item from the collection though is the note papers and pencil set, the note papers again feature the bold prints featured in the collection and co-ordinate beautifully with everything from else, featuring the same simple black line design with the cherry red lip prints across the bottom and the bold black and white stripe across the top, and what better way to write a wonderful little pick me up note, thank you letter etc to a super stylish friend than with your co-ordinating bold pencil featuring a gold Lulu Guinness logo printed on it on your new note papers, and finishing it off with a few co-ordinating stickers.
I loved every bit of this month’s box and i am really looking forward to seeing future boxes, I not going to price the items individually as I don’t think you can price a collection like this fairly and i would not know where to start, I do think the value for money is exactly right, I lived this box and would be happy to pay the price of the box for it but would not want to pay more, therefore feel the pricing us spot on. The monthly price of this box is £15.99 with Free postage, perfectly priced in my opinion.
Katieemma xoxo.

Abroad: U.K. Part 2. In Support of Richmond Fontaine.
Covers: October 18th - 24th
When we left off, Quinn and I were worried he wouldn’t have a way to get back into Germany due to his technical overstay and the possibility that German bureaucracy wouldn’t be able to deal with such a sudden request. Going with him to his visa appointment the morning of the 18th, everything turned out to be okay and he now has a sticker in his passport that easily served as his residency permit for the month.
We headed back to the apartment, packed our backpacks—travel light!—and got on the train to Frankfurt. We got in around 7:00, checked into our hostel, and went on a mission to the Apfelwein Haus that we’d been to after a trip to Saarbrücken when living in Kassel. You bet I got a classic German dinner before disappearing to Great Britain for a week: schnitzel with grüne Soße, potatoes, and Apfelwein.
We passed out in our hostel that night, and woke up at about 7:30 to take the train to the airport, get checked in, and get on our flight at 10:55. Along the way, I found myself having to remember to respond to people in english. On the plane, I was looking for the bathroom, and one of the flight attendants, in his lovely british accent, showed me. My response was a painfully american-sounding “danke.”
Passport control in Heathrow was a pain to go through, but I’m sure non-American citizens would say the same thing about any US airport. The line was incredibly long, and we had to fill out weirdly personal papers detailing our visit. Once through that, though, we made a fast lunch stop (I had my first sandwich with an avocado in months!) and hopped on the ultra-bougie Heathrow Express to Paddington Station. This is where the trip gets insanely train-y and name-drop-y.
We stopped in Paddington, which was where I had my first moment in Britain of that butterfly-excitement of adventure. Coming out of the Heathrow Express and into the huge, very open Paddington Station and immediately being swept up in the human traffic had a sense of magic that I hadn’t felt for a very long time. From Paddington, we hopped on the London tube to King’s Cross, where I took a quick peek at “Platform 9 3/4,” which was definitely not between Platforms 9 and 10, and rather just a line of kids in the middle of the station trying to get a photo with a Gryffindor scarf.
I was so excited and then SO disappointed.
Then, we were off to Leeds. The train went past so many provincial towns that reminded me of something out of Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life, and I couldn’t even put in earbuds because I just wanted to hear everyone’s accents.
Off the train, and we were a five minute walk from the train station to the hostel. We checked in, changed out of travel clothes, and set up our beds, then we were off to Hebden Bridge so as not to miss a moment of Jerry Joseph.
Hebden Bridge, only about an hour outside of Leeds, looks like a McMenamin’s theme park. Everything looks like the Kennedy School and Edgefield. We found ourselves in a pub called the Trades Club, which is a co-op space, holding drum classes, varying start-up food businesses, and (Quinn’s favorite) microbrew IPAs.
And then Jerry Joseph took the stage.
How many people can say they travelled 650 miles to see an opening act?
He came out playing “Think On These Things”—which I don’t know as well as his other songs since I’ve only ever heard it live—but by the chorus I was singing along, and he looked in my direction, furrowed his brow, I nodded with a smile, and the look of surprise on his face was everything I’d waited for. It was shock, wonder, and then joy. The exact same joy I was feeling.
A side note about my relationship to Jerry Joseph. He and his band, the Jackmormons, have managed to take the spot of favorite musician(s) in my heart with jamming dad rock melodies, excellent guitar solos, and truthful lyrics that I have always connected to (well, since I was old enough to be able to). Over the years, I’ve gained attention at shows for being the youngest superfan in attendance. Then here I was, representing my entire family.
After Jerry Joseph finished his set, the second opening act came on and Jerry came down to chat with Quinn and I for a couple of minutes. He asked if we were going to be in Nottingham the following day, and I got my chance to tell him the show was sold out and we did not have tickets. His response was a nonchalant, “oh, I’ll get you on the list.” And there it was, we were on the list. I had Jerry Joseph’s phone number and email, and we would make it work.
When Richmond Fontaine came out, the set was awesome. The guys were funny, upbeat enough to sway to, and the house loved them. Quinn was excited, since he’d grown up hearing their music.
After the show, we hopped on the last train back to Leeds and crashed hard in the hostel from a day of constant movement.
Quinn and I were not to be slowed down for a moment, though. It was a Thursday in Leeds, which we had decided we loved, and we were gonna see it all. We asked the lady working at the front desk what was most interesting to see in Leeds with just a few hours. Her response was the Armory with a stop at the Leeds Minster.
Why not, we figured. We started off wandering, first, enjoying the elegant British architecture of buildings on the main street, the town hall, and a couple churches in the middle of town.
Trying to capture the gestalt of a city is hard. But please take note of the CARS GOING THE WRONG WAY.
Feeling a bit peckish for a snack, we accidentally ended up in a giant marketplace, very reminiscent of Seattle’s Pike Place. The building was rather unassuming, and then we walked in, and there were smells everywhere of fish, thai food, pies, and varying other street foods. There were flower shops, cheap clothing shops, odds & ends shops…there was an all-out fabric store! It was such a wonderful find.
Seriously, this is just the entrance. It kept going for a square block and a half. It was bigger than Powell’s!
So with some mussamun curry and pad se ew, we started walking toward the Minster. And let me say, everything about British churches is different from mainland European ones except maybe the stained glass. When I think about the Kölner Dom versus this Leeds church, my mind sees very opposite visions of the worship of God. The Kölner Dom is massive, magnificent, but dark. It’s all about tall spires, curves, and an overwhelmingly large, dim interior. It is about the power of God. The Leeds Minster, and all other British churches I saw, was very rectangular, and while it wasn’t plain in the least, it did not seem to invoke the almighty power of The Church.
Left: See the architecture based on rectangles, rather than tall, spires, as in the Elisasbethkirche in Marburg or the Kölner Dom. Right: This was when I just needed to take a moment.
The interior was also incredibly light. It felt like a place to be together and express love of God. I felt so in awe and joyous being in that church. Not to mention, the Father wanted to tell us all kinds of stories and point out new additions.
But we were on a mission to see the Armory before we had to hit a train to Nottingham. And in just a five minute walk, we had arrived. Quinn’s not the biggest fans of museums, and I have very little interest in humans finding more ways to destroy each other, but it was free, so we figured we might as well. And then we walked inside. Not thirty feet ahead of the entrance was the most amazingly designed stairwell.
Literally called the tower of steel.
Around the outside of this display you walked to each floor, with different themes. The first was an interactive history of war that was set up more like an art museum than the random collections of artifacts we’d seen in some other museums. There was a volley of arrows hanging on the ceiling, spots where you could touch a weapon and it would explain to you how to use it, and beautiful dioramas.
But before long, we had to catch our train to Nottingham. Having been told by a pub owner, rather wryly, “that it’s a really lovely town,” Quinn and I didn’t have high hopes.
I think, had Leeds not been so much fun, Nottingham would have actually been a lovely town. But it had an odd air to it that just did not feel very welcoming. But we knew we didn’t need to be there long anyway, so it wasn’t too bad. We went to a pub near the hostel (where I got my first pie) and headed to The Maze where we’d get to show off being on “the list.”
Being on “the list” was less impressive than we’d hoped, because it was just “Please let Bria Robertson and Friend in,” but it was still oddly gratifying. Jerry changed up a couple of his songs—there were only four to start with—but it was a spirited set. The sets from the other two bands were nearly identical, and probably would have been more fun to listen to had the previous day not ended so late and this one started so early.
Collapsing in the hostel that night was comforting, sleeping in sheets that were a plaid Union Jack, and it only excited me to make it out to Wales and the tiny Whitchurch.

Cutie Reviews: Kawaii Box March 20
I just wanted to mention that tomorrow I’ll be busy, so my plan is to hopefully get the next review posted on Tuesday.
Word of the month: fantaji - fantasy
Event of the Month: March 3rd is “Hinamatsuri” in Japan, a doll festival that has also become known as “Girls Day” over time.
“Delve into the world of magical cuteness with this kawaii haul!“
Some months back we had a magical girl themed box that I was pretty fond out. I love fantasy-themes, magical girls, etc. So let’s see how this one holds up in comparison!
Fantasy Jellyfish Plush
Our first item is this really frilly-looking Jellyfish plush. It has a sort of bean-bag body, so it’s really fun to squeeze. Around the body are pieces of white lace and pastel strands coming in yellow, pink, and blue. It has a small loop so that you can attach it to various items.
It was available in green, pink, purple, and yellow, but right now on Blippo.com it’s only in yellow. It costs $6.90. It’s a Blippo/Kawaii Box exclusive. The quality of the plush seems to be really nice.
You guys know I’m not a big fan of yellow, but this is too cute x3 I don’t have a name for her at the moment, nothings really sounded right yet.
Shiny Galaxy & Magical Girl Washi Stickers
Our next item is this really cute set of sticker sheets. You get 4, each featuring different designs and characters, including some small fillers like gold stars. Several stickers include gold outlines or detail.
I couldn’t find this set on Blippo at the time, but it’s by the brand Treein Art, a brand I’m finding myself becoming a bigger fan of with each item in our box. It’s so pretty and magical looking~
Disney Fruit Gummies
Meiji are the producers of these fun, cute-shaped gummies. Which right away, as you can tell are not as bright as what’s on the package. It doesn’t make a difference but some people like it when you point out those details, so I try to if I notice any significant difference.
Anyway, these gummies are made from various red fruits/vegetables: tomato, strawberry, and apple. They also include a lot of calcium, so they’re pretty good for kids. They come in many cute shapes famous to the Mickey branding, such as mickey’s head, Minnie’s head, and circles with bows, stars, hearts, or mickey heads on them. The entire bag is 133kcal, and is resealable.
I couldn’t find these on Blippo right now, but you’re not missing too much honestly. For someone like me who hates tomato, I found these to be okay. They remind me of a juice box flavor with a tomato note at the end. I didn’t like these a lot, but they were much better than those apple-tomato gummies I got a while back <_<
Colorful Candy Cup Keychain
We got another Blippo exclusive in the box, this one featuring adorable non-edible candies in a cup that you can attach to whatever you want. Besides these pastel stars, you could also get one filled with konpeito, or jellybeans in various sizes.
All three of them are very cute in my opinion, but right now only the star cup is available for purchase on the website. It costs $3.90. But I also saw some other cup keychains on the website, like the creamy milk tea collection, and the frozen drinks.
I used to collect keychains when I was younger, and I’m still pretty fond of them now; I really like this. It’s a lot of fun to shake around too.
Fluffy Sanrio Character Headband
If you read my recent NMNL review, you might recall that I just got a fluffy headband. Today, we get this adorable Hello Kitty themed one, which feels pretty similar and was even packaged the same way.
I couldn’t find this one on Blippo.com either, but that’s just to be expected when a box is nearly a year old.
In comparison to the other one, this one felt a lot tighter. It has a stretchy band on the back, just as the other did, and I’m pretty sure I don’t have a big head. But this was kind of uncomfortable, even without tucking it beneath my hair. It was uncomfortable, but for maybe 10 minutes it would be tolerable.
Dreamy Unikitty Notebook & Magical Girl Star Wand Pen
This pastel themed notebook is a sale item on Blippo.com at the time, being only $2.45 instead of its original $3.50 pricing. There are 4 possible designs, all of which are available.
Besides it’s cute design, what I like about this notebook is that it’s compact for easier carrying, and it has a matte covering to help protect it a little from moisture that could possibly damage it, but you can remove that if you don’t like it. Also, there are 4 sections within the book that feature 2 different, unique designs on each side. The pages are lined, so this would be purrfect as a diary or various lists.

To go with our magical theme, we have this pretty pen featuring a clear colored (mine looks white, but it has a faint purple or pink tint) tube with a gold winged loop on top with a gem star in the middle. This was available in a few colors, the gold detailing of the loop is lovely~
It’s a basic black-ink fine tip, and for as pretty as it is, I have to point out the obvious glaring flaw (depending on who you ask): the cap doesn’t fit on the end.
Shiba-Inu Wonderland Multipurpose Pouch
Our last item is also on sale right now for $2.03 on Blippo.com. This is a thin pouch featuring 4 unique Shiba Inu designs, from this pattern to larger designs. Each has a pastel zipper and pull.
♥ Cutie Ranking ♥
Content - ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ After being disappointed by the previous -destroyed- box, I feel like this one was a lot better. The items are of good quality and very cute, fun, good sizing, pricing is fine. If anything, I kind of wish we got a different accessory, because I know for a fact they have all sorts of clips that would have fit this theme better- and because I just got a headband for the same purpose in another box.
Theme - ♥ ♥ ♥ I love this theme concept, but in comparison to the last time they went with a fantasy-magical theme, I felt like they pulled it off better last time. The front of the booklet shows a winged-unicorn/pegasus with horn/alicorn, but there’s nothing of the sort in the items (does unikitty count?). The color scheme of most items go well with the theme yeah, but a handful of items don’t really suit it in my opinion.
Total Rank: 8 out of 10 Cuties. Definitely a step up from the prior Kawaii Box, but not as good as a previous themed one that was similar to it. I do like the items, and if I didn’t have the previous themed box like this one i probably would have liked it a lot more. I would still recommend the items though, the ones still on Blippo.com that is :P
Before I go, I wanted to mention that I was considering ordering from Blippo.com again! If you enjoy those posts, you can possibly look forward to that later in the month/next month.
