Oh I tought it was the other way around!

I was convinced that the graduation party was her high school graduation party, meaning that this takes place before ln/sn (and that this is why nikki is more brazen and spunky - she mellowed out with age).

And I also thought that this is in Miraland's far past, way way way before Shining Nikki, which is why the places we know from those games are all smaller, and why the landscapes are so different - they either got destroyed or remodeled/terraformed for more city and infrastructure.

If infinity nikki nikki isnt nikki then infinity nikki momo isnt momo. then who am i hating........?
