Love at the Top Part 1
A knock raps on my door promptly at noon. I open it with a smile, my dress swishing around me as Ben stands there, mouth slightly agape behind the flowers he has in his hand.
"Y-you… you l-look amazing."
I smile, swaying my hips side to side. "Thanks. Are those for me?"
"Oh, yeah. I wasn't sure what your favorite was so I got one of each."
The bouquet held about 12 flowers, each one a different kind. It was bright and beautiful, bring life into the room when I placed them in a vase on my table.
"They're beautiful, Ben. Thank you."
He wipes his palms against his pants before putting them in his pockets. "You ready? We have an hour drive or so."
"You never told me where…wait. Does your tie have a Gatsby quote on it?" I walk up to him, picking up the end of the tie and looking at it.
"Oh, uh yeah. You said it was your favorite…" His voice trails off as he shrugs.
I look up at him, big brown eyes looking at me like I'm the only thing in the room. I tug it to pull him down and kiss him, arms sliding around each other. Suddenly he breaks the kiss, staring down at me.
"We better get in the car or we'll never make it."
"Would that be such a bad thing?"
He groans in the back of his throat. "No. But I really think you'll like it."
"And I wouldn't like you?"
He chuckles. "I hope you will, sweet girl."
"You're gonna have to stop calling me that if you want us to leave."
He smiles. "That's fair."
He takes my hand and leads me out of the door, pausing as I lock it behind me. We drive for about an hour, chatting about anything and everything along the way, having concerts with the good songs that come on. It's only when he turns into the parking lot that I realize where he's taken me.
"The Gatsby manuscript??" I all but yell, neatly vibrating off my seat as I stare out the window at the museum. "How did you know I've been dying to see them?"
"You mentioned it a month or so ago."
I turn to look at him. "A month? And you remembered?"
He smiles and nods at me. "Of course. Your eyes light up when you talk about it."
I lean in and kiss him, my hand rubbing at the stubble on his cheek. "How did you score tickets? They've been sold out for a while."
"The curator is my cousin."
"Seriously?"
"Yup."
"That's so fucking cool."
He escorts me out and into the museum, watching my face nearly the entire time, letting me ramble on and on about how much I love The Great Gatsby and how amazing it is to see it first hand, actually handwritten notes by the author himself.
He smiles the whole ride back to town as I continue to talk, the conversation eventually shifting to Star Wars as we sit down to eat. Conversation flows easy between us, no matter what we're talking about.
Eventually, we end up on my doorstep, both of us shuffling nervously and chattering on, unwilling to let the evening end.
"I had a great time, Ben."
"Me too. I didn't think you'd get along with an old man like me."
"I thought we agreed you aren't old?"
"No, you said I wasn't old. My back begs to differ."
"Hhmm…" I fiddle with his tie. "Sounds like you need to go to bed."
"Y-Yeah. That might help."
He kisses me, pushing me back against my front door. I hitch my leg over his thigh, pulling him closer, both our hands tangled in the other's hair.
"I have a bed inside you can use."
His eyes darken as he stares down at me. "Are you sure?"
"I've never been more sure of anything in my life."
I fish out my keys, trying to unlock my door but finding it hard to focus with Ben's hands on my hips, rubbing little circles into them.
Finally, my door unlocks and I push it open, turning to grab onto Ben's tie, pulling him inside, giggling when he kicks the door shut behind him. I reach behind him to lock it, gasping when Ben starts sucking on my neck.
"Ben," I sigh, feeling him shift and moan into my neck.
His lips move to mine and we start to walk, me guiding us towards my bedroom. But several steps later, Ben trips and we fall and he lands on top of me.
"Fuck I'm sorry! Are you-"
I pull his face to mine, kissing the apology from his lips, my legs parting to pull him in closer and I can feel him through his pants.
"Here?" He breaks the kiss, staring down at me, our noses barely touching.
"I don't care where, Ben. I need you. Now." I grip the back of his shirt, trying to untuck it from his pants.
"I.. yeah ok."
I look at him this time. "Is that ok?"
"I.. yeah."
I push him up slightly, getting him to meet my eyes. "What is it?"
He blushes slightly, looking away from my gaze. "I just…"
"Are your knees ok? Your back?"
"What? Oh yeah I'm ok."
"Then what?"
He quiet a moment. "I've never done…this… on a floor before."
Oh.
I smile and trace his cheek with my fingertip. "That's ok, Ben. Do you want to?"
His clothed hips rut into mine in response and I whine, watching him smirk down at me. "I want you, sweet girl."
"Then take me. Please."
His eyes darken, blowing wide with lust before he kisses me. One of his arms braces him on the ground while the other moves down my body, sliding up my bare thigh as he pushes my dress up. He hesitates at my panties but when I moan, he gains some courage, hooking his fingers around the band and sliding them down. His hand comes back up my body, his finger teasing me between my thighs. Finally he touches me and my hips jolt at the connection.
"Oh fuck," I pant, as his fingers explore my apex.
"I gotta work you open, sweet girl. Get you ready for me. Is that ok?"
I nod several times quickly, pleading for him to do more. He wastes no time in pushing a finger inside me, twirling his finger around until I jolted. He adds another finger and finds that spot again, curling his fingers against it.
"Here?" He asks, studying my face.
"Oh fuck yes!" His thumb comes up to rub at my clit and I'm done for, too wound up to wait and I whine his name, gripping his arms as I find my release.
"You make the sweetest sounds when you come."
I chuckle. "I usually don't come that fast even when I'm solo."
His eyes snap to mine. "When..when y-you're solo?"
"Yes, Ben. People masterbate."
His voice is quiet and a few octaves lower. "Will you show me sometime?"
"I can show you now-"
He grabs the wrist I had started to slide down my body. "No. Now, I need you. If that's ok?"
"God, please."
He lifts himself slightly off of me and I fumble with his belt, quickly opening it and reaching my hand inside to grip him. He grunts, a series of swears tumble from him as I pull him out. He's big, bigger than I've had. No wonder he had to work me open - I can't barely close my fingers around him. I line him up with me and I feel him at my entrance, just touching me and heat rushes to my cunt. But he doesn't move.
"Ben?"
"Do you have a condom?"
"I uh, oh. No. But we discussed being clean-"
"That's not what I'm worried about."
"I'm protected. It's safe. If you want."
There's no more color in his eyes, dark and black with lust. "Oh God I want to. If that's-"
"Stop asking if every move is ok. All of it is. You have my consent to fuck me however you want. If something is wrong I'll tell you. Just please, Ben. I need you to move."
He catches my gaze and then slowly pushes inside of me. I can feel my skin stretching to accommodate his size, burning slightly at the edges but it's a good feeling. He pauses halfway and looks at me.
"Are you ok?"
"Y-yeah. You're just…the biggest I've ever had."
"Do you want me to stop?"
"If you stop, I'm going to fling myself out of the window."
He chuckles. "We can't have that."
My reply dies on my lips as he pushes in the rest of the way, stretching and filling me. I don't remember ever feeling this full before, and oh shit what is he hitting inside me?
Ben pulls his hips back and slides into me again, slowly still. I hitch my thigh over his hip and he grabs it to hold my leg in place. He adds an extra thrust when he bottoms out and I cry his name, stars erupting in my vision as heat rushes between my thighs. Ben is hesitant, as if he can't read my expression. Or he doubts himself.
"There! Fuck, Ben. What are you- ugh!" He pushes in again, picking up his pace and slamming into that spot over and over, my next orgasm building quickly with each thrust. He slows down, only to bring a hand up, trying to lift my dress up over my chest. He's struggling, so I reach my hands up, sliding down the straps and pulling down the top of my dress. Thankful I wore a front clasping bra, I quickly undo it, boobs springing free. His hips falter as he stares at my chest.
He drops his head to my chest, taking a boob in his mouth, biting at my nipple. His hips resume rutting into me and my release washes over me, warmth spreading out from between my thighs as I cry his name, Ben still moving his hips and hitting that spot to drag out my release.
"I'm gonna…" Ben tries to speak but then his hips sputter, thrusting up several more times into me, quiet moans and gasps leaving his lips as he comes inside of me. Breathing heavy, we lay there still connected for a few moments, just trying to catch our breath. Ben lifts his head from my chest and stares down at me, the lust receding and being replaced by something more like…love?
"Fuck you're so beautiful."
"So are you, Ben."
He scoffs. "I'm an old man."
"An old man who just fucked me into this floor."
He smirks, unable to hide the pride on his face. "That's true. But I'm sure you've done this before, with your young back and all."
"No one has ever fucked me like that, Ben. I've never…I've never came like that before."
His eyebrows knit together. "What?"
"It's like you were hitting some spot in the back of me. Like..at the far back-"
He nods. "I think that's called your a spot?"
"WE HAVE ANOTHER SPOT? MY EDUCATION HAS FAILED ME."
Ben cracks up, his laughter shaking my body as I join him too, stopping when he hisses.
"Stop laughing! Hold on." He pulls out and then resumes laughing with me.
Ben helps me straighten my dress and stand up, pulling me close to his body and kissing me.
"You ok?"
"I am. But next time let's be in a bed. I may be 24 but this floor is still hard."
His eyes darken. "Next time?"
"Yeah. If you want?"
"As long as you'll have me. I'm free tomorrow for dinner?"
"Dinner? I was thinking in another 10 minutes."
He chuckles. "I'm an old man, sweet girl. I don't think my knees can do that again so soon."
"Who says you'll be on top?"

let’s say hypothetically i was interested in attempting to write fanfic of your kirby guys….. where would you point me where i could learn who the characters are and a good idea of what they’re like?? 👀
A
OMFG WAIT JUST A SEC BECAUSE AVDHSBSSHDHSJSHS WE LITERALLY JUST MET BUT YOU'RE ALREADY SO INTERESTED IN MY SILLY BAPIES AND ASSHDHSHDHSBDHSSJSJSJS OMFG MY ANXIETY AND EXCITEMENT ARE AT THEIR PEAK RN
OKOKOK SO,
FOR THE DULCIADES LORE, HERE'S A LIST OF THIS OLD AND BAD FIC SERIES I MADE ABOUT 1-2 MONTHS AGO (BUT PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION BECAUSE IT DOES TALK ABOUT RATHER TOUCHY SUBJECTS SUCH AS TERMINAL ILLNESS AND DEATH)
(pt. 1; pt. 2; pt 3; pt 4; pt 5)
AS FOR A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SILLIES :DD
Sir Pleiades: Ultimately Immortal (which is basically a fancy way to say he cannot die ever no matter what and will even survive the Heat Death of the Universe), he's kind, caring, elegant, but really cocky and boastful. He can be scary serious when he wants and is kind of a mad psychopath, but he bottles all his anger up to look 'normal' and so he mostly appears as a very calm individual. He deeply cares about those whom he holds close to his heart and is willing to take any risk for them. Also teasing is his love language (both platonic and romantic) and, being a Demigod, he possesses multipurpose stardust magic (he can use it for object summoning, self-healing and even some brief variant of teleportation) and has a super strong sense of intuition and instinct.
Blossom Dee: Mute tiny little gremlin <3 she's canonically 8cm tall and an eternal toddler, and even though she can't speak herself, she understands others perfectly and can write basic words out using flower petals; she's also able to pick up on social cues quite well. She loves sweets and often has huge sugar rushes (not that she ain't already hyperactive herself, mind you, she's already an energetic little creature as is HELPPP). She loves sitting on people's heads (most of the time you'll see her sitting on her big bro Ades'); she also loves making friends.
Miss Dulciana: Just a regular mortal lady, she's pretty into daisy flowers and has a gorgeous singing voice. She's sweet, loving, but pretty peppy and playful. She has a purse, but doesn't carry it around often, because the top skirt layer of her dress has pockets beneath it. She's an absolute disaster at baking, but she has her fun in trying, at least. She's also tried learning Crochet, but gave up when she accidentally tangled her hands in the yarn and undid her entire work while trying to pry them free. She taught Pleiades French and learnt Japanese with him. :)
WAAAAAHHH HELP SO SORRY FOR THE REALLY LONG POST ASBSBSBBDBDHDDBDBDJDN YOU DON'T HAVE TO WRITE ANYTHING IF YOU DON'T WANNA REALLY AAAGSHSHSHSHSHSHS BUT JUST IN CASE YOU AT LEAST WANT TO GET TO KNOW THEM BETTER HERE'S A CRAPPY DESC 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

For Lawrie! 👁️💢🍧💐🌙🌌🎀💧🌠
these are So fun tysm 🤗💖
👁️ EYE - what colour are their eyes? do people notice their eyes? is there anything special about them (shows emotion easily, literally magical…)?
his eyes are a glowing gold, and vary in brightness with his emotions and magic use. they look like starlight trying to escape his body
💢 ANGER - what are some habits they have that will take some getting used to?
lots of old superstitions that he learned from sidney growing up, most of them horse based: never leave put your hat on the bed, don't change a horse's name, hang a horseshoe in your home, wearing yellow is bad luck, don't compete with change in your pocket because that's all you'll win, knots in a horse's mane means they've been visited by the fey, brass protects from witches
🍧 SHAVED ICE - do they still have any objects from their childhood? what significance does it have to them? what would their reaction be if they lost it?
does his horse count? pepper was the first horse he raised himself, and goes with him everywhere. he also has a locked music box that he's been trying to figure out how to open his entire life; it's the only thing he had with him when he was left on his parent's porch.
💐 BOUQUET - create a bouqet for them! what do those flowers mean? are any of the flowers their particular favourite?
valerian (star shaped flowers, strength, health), forget-me-nots (for his family), oleander (desire, destiny, caution), balloon flower (star shaped, desire for a friend to return), blue star (star shaped, strength, determination)
🌙 MOON - what is your oc’s greatest wish? how far are they willing to go for it?
he wants to understand where he came from and who he is, which, paradoxically, has led to him leaving his home and family to search for answers. he's already given up almost everything familiar to him, there's not much else he wouldn't give.
🌌 MILKY WAY - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them?
that he was gonna be sidney's adopted son :3 and that he was going to space
🎀 RIBBON - how would they fit into other worlds / aus? what aus would you like to try out? what fictional world would they fit / not fit into?
he's RIPE for aus.. star wars au is the obvious go to because i've taken a lot of inspo from it for him, but i'd also be very interested in seeing him in a pirate au bc. thats just where i'm at right now.
💧 DROPLET - random angst headcanon
he keeps one of rex's feathers tied to his holy symbol, despite the fact that it makes his heart clench every time he sees or feels it
🌠 SHOOTING STAR - if they could make any wish with no repercussions, what wish would they make?
to know who left him with his parents- and to have the sacrifices he's made to find that out Mean Something

Chapter 1 of Stillness || yokai hunter!Suna x fem!kitsune!reader || wc: 3.3k || 🦊
Synopsis: Arrival of an unexpected visitor promises your coming days to be interesting...
Genre: supernatural!au, enemies to lovers, angst & fluff, eventual smut
Warnings: reader is a nuisance, fire, mentions of blood
a/n: I'm no expert on Japanese mythology. I did my research but also took creative liberties so please keep in mind the information on yokai in this fic is lacking. Here are some links with basic info on yokai appearing in this series.
as always feedback is greatly appreciated and if you want to be tagged let me know!
A streak of the new highway is planned to cut through your favourite part of the forest, the one you walk through when heading east to the river kappas inhabit. First trees have already fallen. You caress the bark of the mighty maple that once touched the sky and now lays at your feet, cut and bleeding from the wounds humans inflicted. You still remember when it was a sprout pushing roots into earth and hungrily reaching for the sun rays. Half a century later you fell asleep under its shade and hid in his branches from those chasing you. Why is this how you say goodbye?
Forest spirits peek out of their hiding places, their terrified chimes fill the air. They cling to you, your clothes, your tails. Some you have to convince to leave the branches of the fallen trees, the hollows in their barks that have offered them sanctuary for so many long years. They cry in pain.
And pain has a way of turning into anger.
It's searing and all consuming, spreading through your body as bright blue flames shoot from your hands. They burn all standing in their path. Equipment of workers, their machines and their boxes of metal go up in flames. Truck standing by the fence catches on fire. You transform back into your fox form, running away as it explodes with a bang echoing through the night.
It's a lonely existence, being a kitsune. With years most of your kind have hidden in the forest, many have moved to cities living together with humans, pretending to be them. As if they could ever be. You hold a bit of pity for them but mostly you just don't understand. Why do they go where humans live? Why do they want to live as humans live? Humans are interesting and fun to observe, that much you never denied, but they are also cruel and blind and they drove so many of your kind away. Empty lairs is all they leave behind.
You water the flowers around the temple as you do every morning before heading to bed. From your pocket a forest spirit you've rescued from one of the fallen trees peeks out. Morning sun makes it blink and rattle in confusion. None of your words reassure it so you leave the matter be. It needs time. Time to breathe and time to heal. As you pull out some weeds from between the cobble stones it watches and chimes, sorrowfully.
“I can't say.“ Weeds in your hands catch aflame and whither. You lay them down on the black soil. “We will find you a nicer home. There is a beautiful cherry blossom tree growing by the entrance. Would you like that?“ It gives a soft chime. “We can have a look at it later, alright? Careful!“ you catch it on your outstretched palm. “Stay with me, I'm almost finished with my duties. Do you have a name? Ah I see,“ you nod when it chimes. “How about I call you Koda? Would you like that? Now make sure not to fall off again, alright?“ You help it climb on your shoulder.
Koda turns it's head in all directions taking in the sight. It's probably its first time seeing anything but endless sky and branches. Not that the temple is anything special. It's small, with only two wooden buildings in need of repair and pond you hold particularly dear. No ducks live near it. You brought a pair once in hopes they'd have ducklings to keep you company but sadly before a month passed they became dinner to passing yokai. Ever since the only ducks at the temple are the ones on the edges of the roof.
Surrounding trees grow closely together, casting long shadows over the roofs and the small yard. In their shade a steep staircase leads towards the entrance of the temple. Every morning and every evening you sweep the leaves from the stairs, picking up and keeping the ones you find particularly beautiful. The golden, the deep crimson, and bright green, ones sprouting first when spring arrives, are your favourite. Moss has overgrown most of the steps. Koda chimes for you to put it on it and it sits on the soft green blanket seeming calm for the first time. Its home was taken but what said it couldn't make a new one here, with you? The temple has been your home for as long as you can remember and you doubt you'll ever know any other.
Your new friend still watches in amazement (At least you think it's amazement. Even you find spirits' expressions hard to read) and when you return to check on offerings you consider waking Chochin to help you reassure it. After a short consideration you decide against the idea. The stillness of the early morning is your favourite part of the day after all and you'll hear from your possessed lantern before noon rolls around anyway. Besides Chochin would only scare already rattled Koda. You'd like to spare the spirit further shocks, at least for a while. Luckily most days the temple grounds stand deserted. With each passing year less and less humans come to pay their respect to Inari. Less and less fields are to be found in the area so it's no wonder they forget how much depends on good harvest. They take it for granted and they forget. If centuries have thought you anything is that humans are incredibly good at forgetting.
You're just about to sweep the two fox statues by the entrance when you catch the sound of approaching steps. One person. Must be an early riser. You make your tails disappear and straighten the sleeves of your hoodie before instructing Koda to hide.
A young man steps through the tori gate. He's tall and lanky, a beanpole with dark hair. Most people pant and heave for air when reaching the top. He looks like he just took a pleasant stroll in the park. He takes in his surroundings then walks over to you. “Good morning,“ he greets with a polite smile that doesn't quite reach his slanted eyes.
There's an aura surrounding him. You can tell he's the kind of man people take a second glance at when passing him by. If you asked them why they'd give you a confused look. “I, I have no idea,“ they'd answer, “There was... something.“ If you asked them an hour later they'd be even more confused because they have already forgotten about him. But he is the kind of a man who wants to be forgotten. How else would he hunt yokai in peace?
“Morning,“ you return the pleasantries. Koda in your pockets shivers.
“I'd like to pay my respects. Can I offer alone or-?“ If he's embarrassed by being unsure of how to proceed you can't tell it from his face. You show him to the temple and excuse yourself, aware of how his eyes follow you as you walk across the small courtyard. You don't want him here. But you can't deny him entry.
He doesn't scare you. He's as green as sprouting grass, too young to have any real experience. He probably only recently accepted yokai are real and not just a folktale used to scare children. You might be the first he'd ever meet. At least one that isn't harmless. Still there is something about his calm voice and bored expression that keeps you alerted.
Koda peeks out of your pocket and chimes, worriedly. “We'll see,“ you murmur in response and head over to the pond. It's so empty. Should you get some koi fish? Or would they all too soon become dinner too? Many of those yokai who remain are growing hungrier. Wilder. Hearing approaching footsteps you wonder if that is what brought Mr Witch to your humble abode.
“I've heard there's a kitsune living around here.“
You straighten and turn to face the unwelcome visitor. Was someone else in your shoes they'd act smart and deny their nature. But you can tell he isn't asking. He's just confirming what he already knows. “There is.“
Visibly taken aback he hesitates. “Is it you?“
“I am.“ You don't like his eyes. They are too fox-like.
He bows politely. “I'm Suna Rintarou.“
“Good for you.“
He ignores the poison in your voice. “News of someone destroying the construction site has reached Inarizaki Clan.“ Ah, that explains the lack of fear. If he's here with the backing of a clan naturally he'd feel secure enough to directly challenge you. “I was sent to let the ones responsible know their efforts are meaningless. The road will be built no matter what you- What they do.“
“Ask? Your kind doesn't ask.“
“This might be the one for history books then.“ His face irks you. There's no fear, no nerves showing, no twitch of his mouth or fingers to betray what he's thinking. Humans are as easy to read as open books but the young man in front of you is a blank sheet of paper.
“Leave,“ is all you answer.
To your surprise he bows and obeys. Watching him leave you think he should straighten up.
As the sun rises higher you head to bed, newcomer so heavy on your mind he haunts your dreams. The sole presence of a yokai hunter is something to be worried about. First one comes, then a second, next your kind is being chased away. The only reason you're still here is because the humans can't seem to figure out a way to chase you away for good. Not that they haven't tried. If only they knew worst things live deep in the woods.
When evening falls you sweep the stairs and leave still rattled Koda besides Chochin who disapprovingly rolls it's one eye at you.
The town is only a short run away. It's small, at least you think so since there aren't many you've visited in your relatively short life. You know every nook and cranny, you know which tombstones are nekomata's favourite, you know which of the old street cats will soon join them. They can be a handful but they're the closest thing to friends you have. You pass the old house where teenagers like to gather. Its cellar has been home to keukegen for years now. You catch a glimpse of a few leaving. No doubt the fault of that damn visitor.
The place he's staying at is easy to find. How careless of him. All you have to do is follow the magic of protective charms scattered across the town back to its source. They're sloppy. Almost as if a child made them. But some of them are particularly well made. Work of another clan member perhaps?
You hide in the bushes of the garden surrounding a small house. Mr Witch left the sliding door open. Even in the garden you smell herbs meant to ward away evil spirits. He's sitting on the floor and watching a curious looking thin screen similar to ones you've seen down at the train station. He seems disinterested. When he stands up and leaves the room you silently creep closer to peek inside. The smell of herbs is stronger here. You don't find it unpleasant though many of your yokai friends would disagree.
On the screen you see a map of the town. More maps lay on the low table. Some have scribbles you can't quite read, arrows, and question marks. You hear him returning and scurry back in the safe embrace of darkness and bushes. He sits back down to continue his work, not noticing you were in his home. You lean your head on your paws and watch.
Following Suna around becomes a daily routine. You sweep the stairs in the morning and water the flowers then run the fastest your legs can carry you to the town. Luckily for you he likes sleeping in. His days are uneventful. Boring to be honest. He eats breakfast. Goes to town. Looks at historical monuments downtown. Sits on the only bench in the park and eats ice cream. Heads to library. From time to time he visits the construction site to inquire if there have been any more incidents. There were a few but none of them were your doing. Mr Witch doesn't actually think you're the only one enraged by the new road, does he? Honestly as much as you detest it you're also a little relieved humans haven't decided to build over the northern part of the forest. That would be a lot more troublesome.
You follow on a safe distance as he inspects the surrounding trees, no doubt to chase away the remaining forest spirits. For a very long time he inspects some footprints. You carefully step closer trying to see what caught his attention. Suddenly he stands up and continues on his way. As you follow you glance at the ground. Ah, of course.
He heads back to town after that, returns home and you return to your spot in the bushes. Sun hasn't set yet, the day is still warm so he brings a low table out on the porch and pours two glasses of dark bubbly liquid.
“Are you going to keep hiding or will you join me for a drink? I have some tofu I can fry if you want. Kitsune like it, right?“ he asks without looking in your direction.
Crap. Well, no point in trying to be sneaky anymore. You step out, head raised high and your tails gracefully swaying with each step. A silver gem radiating light balances on the middle one. Once you reach porch you shapeshift to a human and hide the gem from Suna's eyes. You don't bother hiding the tails though and you take a sit across from him, carefully eyeing and sniffing the contents of the glass.
“Only three tails?“
“Are you judging my age?“
“Sorry. I didn't mean to be rude.“ That's not what his face says. “Thank you for leaving the construction site be,“ he chats on seemingly unbothered by your icy glare. “You must've noticed those footprints too, right? Have any idea where I might find the owner?“
“That sounds like your job Mr Witch.“
“It's Suna actually.“ He keeps talking like you're old acquaintances and it's making your blood boil. “Can I ask for your name? Don't want to call you Miss Kitsune.“
“Why are you here?“
Suna gulps down half of his drink before answering. “To make sure construction continues without any accidents. You seem to think yourself some kind of a yokai protector. Then I'm a protector of humans.“
You bark a laugh. “As if your kind needs protecting.“
“All the people getting sick from those keukegen would disagree.“
“Sounds like it's their fault for not staying away from infested places,“ you retort.
“Then one easy fix would be getting rid of those infested places.“
“An undertaking you have no doubt already started.“
“I'm just doing my job.“
“You can't chase them away for long you know. Your kind has tried before. They always come back.“
You've hoped your words would elicit a response from him. Anything. A trace of frustration, an arrogant grin. Suna pours himself another glass. “Do you want some ice?“
“What I would very much like is for you to leave.“
A grin flashes over his face. “Get used to my presence because I won't go away for a very long time.“
So this is how he wants to play. He isn't the tiniest bit alerted when you abruptly stand up. “We'll see.“
Your daily routine continues. The only difference is you no longer care to hide. Wherever Suna goes you're not far behind. He wants to stay, play the protector of humans, does he? Pathetic. He doesn't seem to be bothered by you following him around. Just slightly unimpressed. It makes you want to set his pants on fire. Just to get a reaction. Just to see his expression change.
“How long do you plan on following me?“
“Who says I'm following you? World doesn't revolve around you Mr Witch. Maybe I just wanted to buy myself some mochi. Have you considered that?“ You pretend to be interested in melons on the shelf. “Aren't these kind of expensive?“
Suna ignores your question. “I'm grocery shopping. There are no yokai here. And I haven't even harmed anyone.“
“Yet. Such a short word. Yet. Somebody has to keep an eye on your nasty tricks.“ You peek into his shopping cart. “Instant ramen and crab chips? Even I know humans need some you know,“ you wave your hand trying to remember what it's called but the word is buried too deep in your memory, “healthy food!“ you say instead and place the most expensive melon in the cart. “Like fruit for example.“
“Put it back.“
“It's healthy.“
“It's expensive.“
“I got money.“ You pull a bundle of bank notes from your pocket.
He puts the melon back on the shelf and grabs the cart with more force than necessary. You hum contently before putting the money in your pocket where it changes back to leaves you picked up last autumn.
The sheer number of different products on the shelves amazes you. And also makes you a little sad. All the offering humans bring to the temple are just rice and tofu and sometimes curry. Not that you don't like rice and tofu but why can't they bring one of all these colourful sweets? Or the chips Suna just put in the cart. Would he notice if one of the bags disappeared?
Walking past the vegetable stand you grab three cucumber packages and plop them down in his cart. You notice he added a bag of brown rice to it.
“Really? Three packages?“ he asks.
“They're a gift for kappas up the stream,“ you smile, innocently.
“Buy them yourself. You got money, don't you?”
“Why, would you like some? What's the matter Mr Witch, job doesn't pay well? Maybe you should consider a career that doesn't rely on destroying our lives.“
“Maybe you should live a life that doesn't harm others.“
You grin, satisfied. And so facade begins to crumble. A loud cough distracts you from throwing back another insult. An older man gives the two of you a disapproving look before returning to reading labels.
Suna grabs the cart and continues his way to the next item on the crumpled shopping list. You trail behind looking like a lost puppy peeking from behind him to see what the next item on the list is, adding new items to the cart Suna immediately puts back in their place. Even by the register you add one more package of chewing gum to the pile.
“At least take one with a fruity flavour,“ says Suna so you grab two more packages with watermelon on them. You think you see his eye twitch though it might be just your imagination. While he puts the groceries in a bag you snatch a chocolate bar from the nearest shelf, then follow him outside to take the cucumbers from the bag he's holding.
“You've been quite busy yesterday,“ you remark as you walk down the street.
“Since you followed me around the entire time I take it you weren't.“ He outstretches his hand. “Your stuff was 700 yen. Pay up.“
You give him a crumbled wrapper.
“Any particular reason you're interested in the old Nishikawa house?“ you ask, continuing to smile innocently when Suna glares at you and puts the wrapper in his pocket.
“I thought you were the local expert on all things paranormal in this town. I'll let you guess twice.“ He peels the sticker off the bananas and sticks it on your forehead. “See you around Miss Kitsune.“

Ateez Reaction: Disney Movie Theme Date (Fluff Series) 1/8
Part One: Hongjoong
Movie: Peter Pan
Hongjoong has been preparing for this date for weeks now! He's noticed how stressed you have been as of late and he wanted to do something for you to help you relax. Having a childish and more fun date would be a great way to make you laugh and ease up, he thought. For the past three weeks he has done nothing but plot, plan, and prepare.
First, he picked a movie he thought you would both love: Peter Pan. It has pirates, takes you back to your childhood, full of love and laughter. It seemed to be the perfect pick!
He had everything planned out in his head. He made sure to pick a day when it wouldn't be raining, where the weather would be perfect - not too hot nor cold. He drove around for hours before finding the perfect park! Nine hours of searching later, he found it. The perfect spot! There was a gorgeous gazebo beside a lake of clear, clean, sparkling water. The rays from the sunset hitting the water at a perfect angle. There were no loud and obnoxious birds chirping that would ruin the mood. A few ducks floated around in the water, but they added to the charm of the night. This was definetely going to be the place your date would be at. He rented it ahead of time to secure this spot just in case. Nothing was going to ruin your perfect night!
Of course, the perfect date couldn't just be a movie in a beautiful park, no he had to do something special to make the moment so perfect you'll never forget this night. You deserve it, and nothing is too much for his Queen/King. So, he went shopping. Bought plenty of fluffy pillows, an air mattress, some white silk sheets and a big white fluffy blanket. Your comfort is of course the number one priority! You can't get cold and end up sick, now can you? And it wouldn't exactly be the 'perfect date' if your back was hurting from laying on the hard concrete either.
'What else would make this perfect?'
Hongjoong thought to himself. He isn't exactly the most exexperienced in love, on dates. Before you, he didn't really have any experiences - if he had any at all. He always made up excuses. 'I have too much work' 'what would my members think? What would Atiny think?' But for you, he will always have time. He knew his members and that Atiny would understand. For you, he just wants to give anything and everything. He wouldn't risk or do anything to lose you. Which is why he's so desperate to make you're date perfect, to strengthen your relationship and just so he has an excuse to be beside you all night long.
Giving things a little more thought, and scrolling online for ideas, he ended up buying fairylights and some other random iteams.
The whole time he had been preparing for the date, these last three weeks, he's also practiced his dancing. He even had his members give him tips and extra pointers. Whenever he could, he would spend extra hours in the studio working on his skills so that he would able to dance with you. He watched the dancing scene from the movie on repeat, learning Peter Pan and Wendy Darlings special dance so he can recreate it with you.
The time has finally come, after three weeks of anticipation and prepping, it was almost the day! Two days before your special night, he went shopping one last time to buy your gift. He bought you a beautiful outfit, it was classy and comfortable, an outfit he knew you would love and something he knew would look stunning on you. He folded the clothes neatly, put them inside a golden box with a neatly wrapped ribbon on top. Bought you a pair of matching shoes, wrapped them in their own smaller box. He got your favorite flowers and made a peter pan themed invitation, buying one last secret gift he was ready to go to your house. He stacked the boxes on top of each other placing them in front of your door, putting the vase of flowers beside it and gently setting the invitation in plain sight leaned against the vase. Hongjoong rang the doorbell and ran off, disappearing before you could see him.
(Ignore the writings, that's the invitation)
That morning before the date, Hongjoong went to the park to clean up and set up. He went around cleaning up any trash, any animal 'mess' that was left behind to assure you wouldn't step in it on accident. He wiped down the gazebo, despite not being the most cleanly member Hongjoong was obsessed with every single thing being perfect. After everything in sight was cleaned up, he began setting up.
He took the fairy lights from his shopping bag and wrapped them around all the posts and all around the outter ceiling of the gazebo pkugfing then into am extension cord and assuring all the lights worked. He also hung up two speakers from the inner ceiling. Next he blew up the air mattress and put it in the center of the gazebo making it with the silk sheets he bought previously. He did his best to leave no wrinkles behind, though it was a struggle leaving him slightly annoyed - though he will never admit to kicking the mattress in frustration. Adding the last details of linning up the, possibly too many, fluffy pillows and placing the fluffy blanket in an abstract position. He placed his laptop on the center of the bed, the movie pulled up and ready to be watched the internet and speakers connected, he made sure there would be no technical problems ahead of time.
With a few hours to prepare before you'd be arriving, Joong took a bag of clothes and soaps from his car sneaking himself into the pool shower room to get ready. He doesn't have the time to drive home and get ready but he doesn't want to smell or look bad for you either, so, he used the showers that happened to be 'off limits'. Since the pool was closed, the shower rooms were supposed to be closed as well. However, the door was unlocked and the water wasn't shut off so could you really blame the guy? He was desperate!
After his quick shower and getting ready in his nice suit he snuck out of the shower area and back to his car, having exactly 45 minutes before you would be here. He finished the last of the preparations, running across the street to the store to buy a few last minute foods since his members ate the ones he had previously prepared. He got some pre-made sandwhiches from the deli - your favorite kind, some Champaign (or punch if you're not an alcohol person), and some chocolate donuts that he labeler 'Mr. Smees Cannon Balls' for your dessert. All he had left to do was set up the snacks neatly on the bed making sure no crumbs got onto the sheets.
Finally everything was perfect, set up just the way he had imagined. Just in time, he saw your car on the road about to turn into the parking lot. Full of excitement he hurried to meet you, making sure not to mess up his suit in the process. He waited at the end of the sidewalk, his hands crossed in front of him, legs standing balanced like one would at the end of the alter on their wedding day. His smile was so pure and wide. He waited, waited for you to step out of the car.
When you did, his jaw dropped. A 'wow' fell from his mouth. Seeing you in the outfit he picked out, watching as you stepped out of the car looking like a super model straight out of one of those slow motion movie scenes, his heart dropped and it felt like time had stopped. Nothing in the world is more gorgeous than you are. As you called out his name, approaching him happily, he snapped back into reality.
"Wow, you look...perfect.."
He managed to whisper out as he reached forward and grab your hand. He lead you both over to the gazebo, turning on the lights and watching your reaction. The way your face lit up, the excited squeel noise you made most likely unintentionally, your smile, it made Hongjoong feel full inside. He found his treasure in the form of a Goddess/God.
"I hope you like it.. I know it isn't much, but I wanted to do something to bring your smile back.. I wanted to do something special to show you I love and appreciate you in case I don't tell you I love you enough..."
He slowly faced you amd took both of your hands, walking backwards and leading you up to your surprise as he tried not to cry if happiness.
He helped you sit down on the mattress, poured you a drink, made sure you were comfortable before he went to his side to sit right beside you. He introduced the foods to you, waited for you to eat and give him the 'ok' before he started the movie. Once it was on, once you laid your head on his shoulder, he knew this is how things should always be.
Admittedly, Hongjoong did more smiling and staring at you than he did the film. You may not have noticed since he turned his jead towards the screen just in time every time you would turn to look up at him so that you wouldn't notice. As the night went on, you both slowly moved closer together and more down the mattress into a laying position. He happily pulled you closer to him so you were both facing one another and laying on your sides as you watched the film. He enjoyed feeding you donuts and teasing you to 'open up' so he could feed you, despite you insisting you could feed yourself this was much more his style. Taking care of his lover and spoiling you.
Once the dancing scene came on, as Peter and Wendy were soaring together through the sky and dancing with each other, Joong reached into his pocket.
"There is one more thing.. I have something for you that you can keep with you.. When you get stressed or feel alone you can look at it and remember I'm always a part of you and you are a part of me... We complete one another jagi."
He pulled out a matching necklace from his pocket, the one for you, and the other he pulled out from underneath his shirt.
"You are my compass.. You always give me direction and help me find my way when I'm lost. I don't know where I would be without you..."
He began crying as he put the necklace on you, clicking it into place and carefully fixing your hair around it.
"And I am your anchor.. I will always be here when you need me. I want to give you a safe landing and steady home. I just want to keep you safe and secure for as long as you will allow me.."
He reached up and gently caressed your cheeks, wiping your tears away with his thumbs and pulling your faces together so he could kiss you through the moonlight that shined on your faces and bodies, lighting up the laptops screen in a perfect glow.
Pulling away just as the dance scene ended, Hongjoong continued to talk to you over the movie as you both cuddled and watched together.
It's safe to say the night didn't end quite as he had intended. You were both supposed to dance together on the pier right beside the lake under the moonlight, him as your Peter Pan you as his Wendy Darling but in the end you fell asleep on his chest smiling as the movie credits played in the background. Deciding to just stay this way with you, instead of waking you, Hongjoong ended up falling asleep himself deciding this ending was better than the one he dreamed of. He felt content and happy in your arms, glad that he was able to make you smile in the end. Mission success...
So there you slept, laying in each others arms as your necklaces fall together on top of each other becoming one for the night. Pillows fallen of the bed scattered around the gazebo floor and your shoes kicked off to the side as you lay snuggled under the blankets. The moonlight covering your bodied as the laptop eventually timed out, or died. Owls chirping and the light splashing of the lake behind you pulls this perfect night to an end.
I have the other 7 parts envisioned but not written yet, so if you guys liked this part I'll write the others! Also if you want to suggest future ideas, I'm open to anything :)

Enjoy!
Prompt 7: Free
—
Chapter Ten
"I don't know if I can do this."
Hans sighed as he put down the small box on the wooden table, pushing it closer to the queen's direction.
From her seat behind the desk, Anna gave him a look. She raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Would you care to elaborate?"
The former prince pinched the bridge of his nose, before turning to face the queen.
"I don't think she'll say yes." He replied, his hands clasped behind his back as he stood up straight. "We haven't been courting for that long, and the past we shared—"
"Yes, yes, I'm aware." Anna calmly interjected. Her hands were in her lap, eyes darting from the box towards him. "But you seemed so eager and determined a week ago, what changes?"
His jaw clenched, for the vivid memory of his dream last night came crashing at him, flooding his senses. It had been two months since the last time the nightmare occurred, about him, standing in the pool of blood on the slowly melting fjord, gazing at a pair of dull blue eyes that stared back at him. Elsa was dead, and he would become king like he wanted. The ice beneath him thawed, and he fell into the cold water. That was when he woke up, gasping for air, only to see Elsa, alive and murmuring sweet nothings to his ear. Realising that it was all just a dream, he pulled Elsa into his embrace, muttering how sorry he was.
It was a vision of what could've been, had he succeeded in ending the Eternal Winter by going for the source of magic. Even after years of punishment and redemption, the guilt was still there, eating him alive. Had it not been for Elsa's comfort, Hans wouldn't have known how to keep going.
"Hans?"
"I was a monster." He gulped. "Maybe I still am, knowing that some people still don't trust me. And for that, I know I'm not worthy of your sister's love, or anyone else's."
"You were." Anna grabbed the small box and a roll of parchment, then getting up from her chair. "Hans, you'd wronged me. I won't sugarcoat it. You left me to die in that room, you deceived me, and you were out to kill my sister. I admit, I took great pleasure when I punched you in the face."
The whole time, Hans didn't even flinch. He knew what he had done wrong, he was aware of that, and he would forever regret it.
"So I've noticed, even after all those dark months, some people still refused to look you in the eye, not wanting to acknowledge you as a person." She walked over and stopped before the tall redhead. "I did that too when you first came here after years. Elsa was the one insisting to lock you up, but I didn't see the point. There was something different about you."
When a roll of parchment was offered to him, Hans frowned. "Why are you doing this, Anna?"
"As much as I'm doing this for Elsa, I also believe you're not the same person who came to Arendelle with an ambition to become king." Anna spoke, her gaze showed kindness. "I can see that now, and it's not only because you won us war.
"That Prince Hans of The Southern Isles, who had a miserable childhood, dying to prove himself to his father and twelve older brothers, who attempted to marry into the throne to become king and was willing to commit a murder to fulfil such an ambition, was a failure. He wasn't born evil, yet he had failed to stop himself from being blinded by ambitions, and his tragic past doesn't excuse what he did." She paused, thrusting the roll onto his grasp. "But the man standing before me right now is not him. I trust you understand what I mean, Vice Admiral." Anna smiled as she mentioned his new title.
There was a beat, before Hans asked in disbelief, "They approved?" He unrolled it and began to read its content, green eyes were scanning the words over and over again.
"It was a long discussion with Captain Larsson, but apparently, some people already accept you as one of us, even Admiral Goran." She was relieved and worried at the same time. She knew Hans doubted himself, at least she had heard Elsa mentioned it to her a couple of times, but she also knew that the two of them—Elsa and Hans were madly in love with each other. All they needed was a little push.
"Hans," Anna called, and immediately, his attention was on her.
"Thank you so much! I don't know what to say, this is," Hans beamed, "does Elsa know?"
"Not yet." The strawberry blonde smiled. "I figured you'll be the one telling her, as planned."
Realisation began to sink in and he pressed his lips in a tight line. "Right."
"You're doubting yourself, aren't you?" The queen studied him closely. "I see how you look at my sister, and how she looks back at you. I know Elsa, and I've never seen her being this happy—different kind of happy. You might not notice it, but she is glowing whenever she is with you. She cares about you, and I know you care about her, a lot, I may add."
"Do you really think so?"
Anna rolled her eyes in a playful manner. "I know so!" She pressed the small box gently on his hand, and gave him a little push. "Now go and propose to my sister. You already have my blessing, and that means you have one less thing to worry about."
The gesture from his, hopefully, future sister in law brought a smile on his face. Hans glanced at her, feeling grateful for her kindness. He firmly held the box in his right hand. The queen was no longer that naive little princess, who would marry a man she just met because she was desperate for love. She had grown into a compassionate and caring Queen of Arendelle, whose prosperous reign was equal to her predecessor, her sister. Whether it was motherhood or her kind nature, he didn't know.
"Thank you, Anna." Hans didn't know if hugging the queen was the best move, so he went to shake her hand. But Anna, sensing his hesitation, pulled him in a quick hug.
"No, thank Elsa." She said, holding him by his shoulders. "I might be the one who opened the door, but she was the one who let you in."
The former prince nodded. The sisters' kindness was obviously contagious, and it was a part of several reasons why he wanted to change for the better.
"But," Anna said, her tone turned dramatically, "if you hurt my sister, I won't hesitate to punch you in the face, again, and I'll make sure that your nose wouldn't be the only thing that's broken."
Hans gulped. Of course he knew better than causing the Snow Queen any pain. He nodded.
"Now, go!" Anna smiled, pushing him towards the door. "You have a date to attend. Also, it's a perfect place for a date in this castle, so might as well, not spoil it."
"Okay, okay."
"Oh, and Hans?" Just when he was about to close the door, she added, "welcome to the family."
—
Hans couldn't stop smiling. A sudden surge of confidence boosted through him, as he made his way towards Elsa's room. With a ring in his pocket, a bouquet of her favourite flowers and a new dress for her in his grasp, he began to think of how their day would proceed. If Anna was right, and Elsa said yes, Hans would be the luckiest man alive, he knew that for sure. Standing before the wooden door, he composed himself. As he turned the bronze handle, he heard voices talking.
"Oh, I don't know what he is planning, but I heard him talking to Anna about dresses and flowers." It was Olaf. "I hope he is not planning something bad."
Hans was frozen on the spot. Did the snowman think that he had a bad intention towards Elsa? He knew Olaf was probably not making any sense, but it was enough to make him think of the worst.
Elsa chuckled. "Olaf, why would he plan something bad with dresses and flowers? It sounds like something romantic, but I can be wrong."
It was a relief, but gone was the confidence he brought along as the next question came up.
"You said he had a nightmare, Elsa, what was that about?"
There was a silence, thick and hostile, from where he was standing. Doubts began to cloud his mind, as he wondered what she might be thinking. Not wanting to wait any longer, he pushed the door open.
Her beautiful smile was the first thing that greeted him. Still dressed in her nightgown, Elsa looked radiant, as she sat on the bed with a breakfast tray in her lap. Olaf beamed and waved at him.
"I wish they would allow me to join you for breakfast, since I'm feeling much better now." Elsa sighed when she saw him walk over. "What do you have there?"
Hans flashed her a smile, settling the neatly folded dress over the chair nearby and put the flowers in her grasp, before leaning in to kiss her lips.
"Presents." He let out, sitting on the bed next to her.
Olaf nudged her, "See? I told you!" The snowman then collected her tray, before getting back on his feet. "I think I'll leave you both to it. See you later!"
Once the bedroom door was closed, Hans put his hand on her thigh and squeezed it lightly. At the gesture, she let out a giggle, before shoving his hand off. "Hans, no!" She smiled gently, cradling the bouquet close to her chest. "Thank you." Fondly, Elsa admired the bouquet, inhaling the familiar scent. "It's lovely."
"I'm actually planning something for the both of us." He stated, tucking her loose blonde strands behind her ear.
Eagerly, her blue eyes widened with interest. "Really, what is it? Are we going to go sailing?"
Sailing was his previous plan, indeed, but since Elsa was only recovering from her fever, Hans decided that they should stay in. He didn't wish to cause her any more harm than he already did, although the rising temperature wasn't exactly his doing. Besides, if Elsa said yes to a lifetime with him, it means that they would sail forever in holy matrimony.
"You'll see," was all his reply.
—
Moments later, Elsa and Hans were standing on the balcony at the back of the castle, facing the perfect view of the open sea. Anna was right, Hans thought, it was a perfect place for a date. A table for two was set up, with cakes, a teapot, two cups, and some boxes of chocolate were served on the table. A bouquet of heathers was placed in the middle.
Elsa could recall how many times she would go there in between meetings when she was queen, just to allow herself to think. She loved the view, the blueness of the ocean, and the gentle caress of the wind, they offered her comfort. It was rather quiet, even during the day, but at least she wasn't alone this time.
Hans held her close from behind, one hand was holding the railing, and the other was around her torso. His mind wandered back to the conversation he had with Anna. He would never forget her generosity in giving him the chance to prove himself that he was capable of growth—the chance not everyone would grant him. She allowed him to stay in Arendelle, to serve in the navy, so he could be close to the love of his life, despite the dark past they shared. Then he began to think of Elsa's silence when the topic about his nightmare was brought up.
"You're quiet." Elsa stirred in his embrace and turned to face him. "What are you thinking about?"
"Things." He said, before letting out a sigh. "I'm sorry, Elsa, I shouldn't have ruined it for you. We can have some tea and chocolates."
Hans was about to move to the table, when Elsa stopped him. "You didn't ruin anything at all. I was only wondering why you were quiet." She paused, eyes were never leaving his. "Would you like to talk about what's troubling you?"
"What makes you think it's troubling me?" It was a little defensive on his part.
Elsa frowned. "Your reaction right now is what." She blinked. "Is it your nightmare?"
She wondered what made him act so defensive. The past few days, Elsa noticed how he had been acting strange, and she was under the impression that he was hiding something, but what? That couldn't have had anything to do with the recurring nightmare, could it?
"Hans?"
Ignoring her, the redhead let go of her hand, before turning around. He pulled out a box from his pocket, admiring the diamond ring inside. Oh, how he wished everything was easier for him.
"You've been hiding something." It was loud and clear in his ear. "What is it?"
"Nothing." He muttered, still with his back facing her. Putting the box back into his pocket, Hans looked back.
Thoughts were running through her head, and some of them weren't pretty. "Are you doubting us?"
"It's not that." Hans shook his head. The frown on his face deepened.
Elsa, growing frustrated as the second passed, looked away. Her cheeks were flushing as anger began to build up. "I can't believe you don't even trust me, especially with whatever it is you're hiding."
"It's not that simple, Elsa." He took a deep breath, rubbing his face in an equal frustration. "You don't understand."
"Then make me!" Elsa pressed, taking a step closer.
Her fingertips were cold, as she tried to contain her powers from exploding. She breathed heavily, the storm in her chest was raging, but there was something in his emerald eyes—remorseful and sincere—as she held his gaze. Closing her eyes, Elsa tried to calm her mind. Anger was never a solution, and one of them should hold their ground if they wanted to carry on with the conversation. Perhaps what he needed was comfort.
"Hans," The former queen called, after another minute passed with silence. She looked up, staring at him with her blue eyes, while holding one hand out. "Come here."
When Hans took her hand, Elsa immediately pulled him into an embrace. She wounded her arms around his torso, resting her cheek against his shoulder. Gently, he returned the gesture and pressed a kiss on her temple. Nothing could top the feeling of holding each other close, getting lost in the comfort.
Closing his eyes, Hans breathed in her scent. Maybe asking her wouldn't hurt, he thought, and he shouldn't be selfish if he wanted to take their relationship one step ahead. And with a determination, he let out, "Kaere."
A beat.
"Yes?"
He took a deep breath, still holding her hand. "I need to tell you something."
Taking one step back, his knee bended slightly, and Elsa tried to stifle a gasp. Is he going to propose? She thought, is this what he has been hiding from me? Her pulse quickened, anticipating what was about to come. Elsa didn't see that coming, but for some reason, she was glad.
The former queen was no fool, and she frowned when she saw him stand up straight. She put two and two together, and realised that he had been doubting his own self. She knew about his nightmare, and how remorseful he had been. To see him looking unsure brought a pang on her chest. She couldn't wait any longer.
"Marry me." Elsa blurted out.
Stunned. Her words got him frozen on the spot. Hans stood there, dumbfounded. Marry me. Those words echoed in his mind, and he had to blink to make sure that he wasn't dreaming. Did she just—
"Hans?" She whispered, taking a step closer to cradle his head. "Are you—
But before she could continue, Hans captured her lips with his. Gone was the hesitation, the doubts that had been haunting him, as he got lost in the passion. Her lips were firmly pressed against his, as if she tried to give him a proper reassurance. He held her close by the waist, as he deepened the kiss, savouring the taste of her tongue, before they pulled away.
"Is that a yes?" She asked breathlessly, smiling ear to ear, pressing her forehead against his.
"Kaere," Hans couldn't contain the joy. He let go of her waist, and held her hand. With a surge of confidence, he got down on one knee. "Allow me to do it properly."
He pulled out the small diamond ring and held it up.
"Elsa," he began, "I know I'm not worthy of your love," seeing the look of disapproval on her face, Hans gave her hand a gentle tug, "hear me out, please?"
"Okay." Her heart swelled inside her ribcage, and warmth overflowing in her body. She nodded.
"I know I'm not worthy of your love," he repeated, "forgiveness, even a second chance. What I've done in the past is unforgivable, and I'm accepting that.
"But you, Elsa, you have given me the chance to get to know you, and I'm grateful for that. Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and you are the kindest people I know. You have shown me kindness, and for that, I'm forever grateful. I love you, min Kaere, and nothing will ever change that. I've never felt this way before, and you don't know how hard it was to deny it. Because loving you feels so right, but also wrong at the same time. Our union is frowned upon because of our past, but we've proved them wrong."
"Hans," she gasped. Her eyes were glassy with tears at his confession.
"I have nothing grand to offer, and I may be pushing my luck, but," he paused, looking at her with sincerity, "Elisabeth," he gently said, taking her by surprise at her given name. "Will you marry me?"
Her vision got blurry with tears as she stood there. It was too much for her, the love and joy that she felt was overwhelming, but in a good way.
"Yes." She nodded furiously. "God, yes!"
He slid the ring on her finger, and got up to pull her into his arms. He spun her around, burying his face in the crook of her neck. There were sparks in his chest when he heard her giggles, and realisation began to sink in. They're engaged.
"I love you." He put her down, so they were standing face to face. One hand cradled her head, with his thumb rubbing her cheek gently. "I love you so much."
Elsa smiled, giving into his touch. "And I love you too, so very much." She covered his hand with hers, as she pressed a gentle kiss on the heel of his palm. "Don't ever doubt yourself, okay? You are worthy."
Hans nodded slowly. "Forgive me."
"It's okay." Elsa nuzzled his nose. "There's nothing to forgive."
"There's also another thing." He began.
Elsa tilted her head with interest. "Yes?"
"I'm staying." Hans smiled. "This time for good."
"Hans, what?" With her mouth agape, she gazed into his emerald eyes, searching for any hint of mischief, and when she couldn't find any, she blinked. "I don't understand."
He led her to a chair nearby, and helped her sit, before seating himself next to her. Taking her hand in his, Hans pressed his lips over the knuckles.
"So, I might have asked Anna a favour just about last week. I was applying for a vacant spot in the Arendellian Navy."
It did not take her long to guess. "The Vice Admiral?"
The redhead nodded. "Yes."
"And you got it?" This time, she was smiling.
"I did."
Elsa didn't know what to say. The news was another thing she didn't expect to hear, and it seemed as if her day couldn't get any better.
"It's," the former queen paused, "wonderful! I'm so happy for you, truly."
She cupped his face and showered him with kisses, from his forehead to his temple, then his nose, and down to his lips. Wrapping her arms around his neck, Elsa settled on his lap. She nuzzled the crook of his neck as he held her close.
"I'm so glad to have you home, Hans." She murmured.
"Home?"
Elsa nodded, looking up to him, fondly. "You're here now with me. We are home."
Home. He liked the ring of it. Elsa had been his safe haven, and then she was his home. In the end, things were working out just fine, and they were both alright.
"Thank you, Elsa."
"Hmm?" She eyed the new accessory on her ring finger with a smile, before darting her attention back to him. "For what?"
Hans felt his heart swell. He pressed another kiss on her temple. "For letting me in, and giving me a second chance." And he would be forever grateful for that.
Quietly, Elsa settled back in his embrace. Her blue eyes were gazing far ahead at the open sea. Once in a while, she stole glances at the symbol of their union, and she realised that the past few days they spent under the sun were leading up to that very moment. How their story went as the time passed, she would treasure that, and despite the rocky path they had to take to get there, Elsa regretted nothing.
Suddenly the future didn't seem to be uncertain. Hans is staying, and we're getting married, Elsa told herself. That steadiness, something to hold onto, was all she needed. And forever with him, she couldn't wait to spend.
END.

Undertale: Frost
Author's Note:
This was a story I had always intended to write, but never really found the time to. Now I've got more time to, having settled into my new job, working at a brand new hospital. With this story, I intend to be fairly historically accurate to the times the tale takes place in, and the cultures as well. I'll try hard to be respectful, and to be understanding, but I recognize I will make some mistakes. Don't hesitate to let me know what you think, and point out what you like and where I can improve. This story will be covering some very tough, hard subject matter, and I won't really shy away from it though I'll try to not create anything so dark it gets an M rating. Above all else, I want the story to FEEL real, and to feel like the people within actually, truly lived. If I can tell that story, and make you enjoy it, and make you perhaps think a little about the big issues within this story...I'll be happy.
Seriously, nothing makes a writer feel better than knowing people read their work. So please. Don't be afraid to comment or review. And so, without further ado, I give you my vision of the past. I give you...Frost.
————————————————-
The sun softly lilted over the quiet city of Lincoln, England, the skies above filled with soft, lilting clouds as a gentle zephyr blew through the hair of those walking into the cathedral. It was the tallest building in the world, towering higher even than the Great Pyramid of Giza, with a magnificent central spire reaching to the heavens above in the center of the large church, and smaller spires at the front, its big, huge double doors open and letting all inside.
Even the monsters.
They passed their way into the cathedral's south entrance under the "Bishop's Eye", an enormous, beautiful stained glass rose window, a companion piece to the "Dean Eye" on the north where people would be exiting. This was, of course, deliberate, for the South represented the Holy Spirit, whilst the North stood for the Devil. The Bishop gazed out at the south, to invite in, whilst the Dean gazed out to the North to shun. The Cathedral, therefore, looked upon both Heaven and Hell…metaphorically speaking. All were welcome inside, but when they left by the North, they'd be reminded to be wary of the guiles of the evil one.
And there…there she was. One of the biggest reasons people had decided that perhaps letting the monster race into the town of Lincoln wasn't such a bad idea. She was clad in her plain robes, but her white fur shone beautifully, her eyes closed as she sang for the assembled crowds making their way into the church. The backup choir behind her harmonized along with her powerful yet soft voice, a voice likes that of an angel that instantly drew your attention. Though she had little tiny nubs for horns atop her faintly goat-like skull, and her finger's nails were somewhat pointed, the cute, large feet, the little sweet pot belly you could see, and her voice, the VOICE! All of that was disarming. Even her eyes weren't scary, though red in color, they were very close to brown, and came off as more soothing than sinister as Toriel, proud member of Saint Mary's Cathedral, sang for the masses, as Father White watched in his own soft robes not far away from the pulpit.
As Toriel sang, her cross necklace glinted in the light filtering in through the stained glass windows of the cathedral, and people were practically hypnotized as the words lilted through the air. Her words brought to mind soft grass in a valley, of the wind blowing through flowers, with petals dancing on the wind. It made you think of warm rays of the sun that faintly kissed your skin, and a tenderness that was rare to find on Earth.
"She's one of the good ones, without a doubt." Said Tobias's father as the young lad with the cute smile and rosy cheeks quietly watched her, blushing a bit more as he gazed at her face.
"She's, um…quite a lovely singer, yes." He finally murmured out.
"If only ALL the monsters had as fine a voice as this "Baphomine"." Tobias's father James commented with a sigh as he put his arm around his wife Marietta. Quite a few of the inhabitants in the church nodded at this quietly murmured remark, though Tobias flinched at this, and it comforted him to see quite a few people turning to give James a rather irritated and angry look. "Remember, Tobias. In the service of the lord, even beings as lowly and wretched as monsters can be made almost human. Truly, the church's mercy is a thing to admire that even such beasts can be admired in some way."
"Well…beasts can't talk…" Tobias muttered. "I've not ever heard a dog or cow or frog speak."
"Oh, they can imitate our language much like they imitate our songs, but I doubt they really understand it. Much like how a…PARROT can imitate human speech but not comprehend it. They're merely following our lead, my son." James reasoned. Tobias held his tongue, though for a brief, dark, horrible moment, he imagined kicking his father in the shins.
At last, Toriel had finished her song and bowed, as people clapped in the aisles, and Father White moved forward, nodding his head at Toriel, taking the young, teenage monster's hands in his. "Bless you, Toriel. Bless your heart. And bless all of thee for coming. The Lord be With You."
"And also with you." The masses repeated back.
"We profess our belief in the Lord, Jesus. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that whomever believed in him should have eternal life. This is the Gospel of the Lord."
"Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ."
Father White's thick black hair fell about his face as he his slightly scraggly-bearded face looked out among the throng. His blue eyes flitted very briefly over to Toriel before he spoke, loudly and firmly. "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For thou are like whited sepulchers, beautiful upon the outside, yet inwardly rotten, full of dead men's bones and all uncleanliness. Though thou appear outwardly righteous, within thee is hypocrisy and iniquity! The Gospel of Matthew, one of my absolute most favorite parts of all the New Testament. Every one of thee should know it. Matthew, one of the 12 Apostles, wrote this fine Gospel primarily for a specific audience. Do any here know who they were? Come, please. Raise thy hands. This is a safe place for all who want to believe, and you won't be judged or mocked if you get it wrong."
Tobias slowly raised a hand up, before anyone else, and when Father White pointed at him, he spoke as clearly as he could, Toriel's eyes looking right into his own. "Was the gospel written for the Jews, Father White?"
"Yes. Matthew makes mention of more Old Testament sections than any other gospel, and he saw Jesus as King of the Jews, who fulfills the prophecies within the Old Testament. He wanted Jewish people to be able to welcome Him into their hearts, and to convince them with that which they themselves held dear, the holy words and prophecies and lessons they took to heart. By showing them this, and the miracles Jesus performed, Matthew hoped they would welcome Jesus. Let us pray upon this."
He bowed his head, the people in the Cathedral following suit as Toriel bowed her own head. Come about 45 minutes later, the service was over, and she was nodding as people left the Cathedral…before quickly rushing over to one particular person. Or rather, one particular monster.
"Careful!" She quickly ushered the burning, constantly-on-fire Pyrope away from a tapestry just in time. Phew. Now the depiction of Christ on the cross wouldn't go up in flames! The big, coal-like, large-mouthed monster's head hopped up and down on the coiled, rope-like chest, stomach and lower body of his frame, wearing fancy sandals as the fiery hair he had slightly flared up before it cooled down at the sight of her worried face.
"My apologies." Percival Pyrope remarked, the burning fire upon his round, black, eyeless face turning into a very thin layer of fire, his "normal" state when he wasn't excited. The Pyrope and monsters much like him who could accidentally damage the church had to sit rather separated from the throngs of humans. Didn't want them burning down the church!
"Its alright, really. You've been VERY well behaved, thank you so kindly." Toriel said warmly, bowing at Percival Pyrope as he left the church and Toriel, in turn, walked over to Father White as he looked over a big copy of the Bible at his podium. "You were very, very considerate to use Matthew in today's sermon." She said, as Father Michael took her hands again and shook them.
"Anytime, Toriel. You are as a shining light in our church, and welcome here anytime you desire. You'll never be turned away from here." Father White insisted kindly as he briefly peered over Toriel's shoulder, taking notice of the fact that…yes. There he was. Little Toby had stayed behind and was nervously rocking back and forth on his feet. "May I help you, Toby?"
"Um…may I have confession, sir?"
"Of course. Come this way." Father White led Tobias off across the church and towards the booth used for confession as Toriel, in turn, made her way out of the church and towards the local inn to get lunch.
Though many of the townsfolk smiled a little at her, or bowed their heads, others quietly shuffled out of her way, a few muttering nervously, looking a bit pale as she entered the inn and sat down at a table, the innkeeper sending a server over to her as several people she'd not seen in town before glanced in her direction.
"…oh. Those. Let's…not stay. I'm not hungry at the moment." One of the men grumbled as his friends nodded, the bartender sighing a bit as he watched them leave, Toriel quickly digging into her robes pockets.
"Here, I'll pay a little extra to make up for your lost business."
"A pleasure doing business with you, then!" The innkeeper remarked with a big grin as he nodded at the server. "Hannah, give Ms. Choir Girl anything she'd like!"
"Not a problem at all…" Hannah said with a nod as she stood by Toriel. "So what do you want?"
"I'll have the usual." Toriel remarked as Hannah nodded, going off to get Toriel her salted meat dish she so adored, combined with a nice local ale as Toriel, in turn, took something else out of her pocket…silver shine polish for her cross necklace, a creation of her own design she'd made by herself. In fact, she made quite a bit of good money selling her artistic creations, and used a bit of the proceeds to help the church. It was only fair, she felt, given how they'd let her join, the first monster in Saint Mary's-
Toriel sniffed at the air, turning. Oh. A man behind her was looking over a pie that had been served to him and he tilted his head to the side as he examined it. "I wouldn't eat that if I were you, sir." Toriel spoke up softly as the man glanced up at her, then at the pie. "It smells…" She sniffed at the air. "Yes, I think whomever baked it didn't quite use proper butter."
"You can tell from smell?" The man asked. He HAD looked irritated looking at her but now his expression was one of wonder. "I had no idea. Is it because you Baphomine part goat?"
Toriel inwardly flinched, but she said nothing outwardly and shook her head. "No, no, my kind aren't part goat, we just resemble them somewhat. Much like how a statue only resembles a living being, but isn't truly one. And, uh…we'd prefer being called "púca", good sir."
"Pooka? That's…Irish, isn't it?" The man inquired, wearing a thick robe that looked quite fancy and having a short moustache and beard. He looked very nondescript otherwise as he sniffed the pie. "Well, I'll take your word for it. Thank you very much, Miss…um…your name?"
"Toriel."
"Do you have a second name?"
"Oh, no, we monsters don't always have that either."
"I'm learning so many things about your kind! My name's Hugh, by the way." He said with a small smile as, at last, Toriel's own meal arrived. "Please, sit with me. I'd like to know more about you and your kind. I don't mean to impose, but I've heard so much, and I'd like to come away from this knowing you and your ilk better."
Toriel nodded, and she moved her meal to his little table, sitting across from him. This wasn't the first time this had happened, and probably wouldn't be the last, but she didn't mind, not really. If it meant a better understanding of her people and of her, then this was fine. It reminded her of a story that Father White had said, of somebody seeing someone on the beach, picking up starfish and tossing them into the sea. The second person had admonished this starfish saver. "Look, there's hundreds of these, you'll never save them all. You can't think you're making a difference." But the other man had simply smiled, picked up another starfish, and tossed them off into the ocean, saying "It made a difference to THAT one."
Toriel would be that Good Samaritan. And Mr. Hugh would be yet another starfish. As she began to speak about her kind, she felt something almost familiar in him. Almost-
Ah. Now she realized. His hair. It was rather like that of her friend off in Wales. She wondered how he was doing.
As it were, winter was soon to settle in Wales, and the first quilting of clouds passed its way towards the ramparts of the castle on the hill. The sun's rays were being slowly but surely obscured by the greying blanket that was making its way over the inhabitants of the castle as the guard nonchalantly sat on its ramparts, keeping their eyes peeled. They had their weapons close at hand, ready to snatch up at a moments notice, bows had fresh drawstrings put in them, the spears had been finely shined and armor a-glinted in the few remaining rays of light that burst through the clouds above. A light wind ruffled through their hair as they looked about at each other, ready to make their move. The only question was…who would break first? Their opponent was crafty and calculating and-
"HA."
Lord Llywelyn Ap Iorwerth was smirking in delight, and he picked up the winnings from the men, shaking them about in one hand and looking supremely smug. His moustache quivered in that way it did whenever he was especially pleased with himself, his cloaked frame rising up as he put the winnings from the dice roll in his bag and shook it about in the air, his thick Welsh accent audible for all the men gathered about to hear. "Hear that, me lads? THAT'S the sound of success."
"Just wait." One of the men grumbled as his buddy scratched the bald patch in the midst of the spiky hair on either side of his head. "We'll get our money back soon enough. Another round!" He insisted, shaking his fist defiantly at their lord as his ponytail flopped off the side of his shoulder, his bowman friend adjusting the bag of arrows he had slung around his back. "How about it?" He asked as he turned to another pal.
"…I dunno, Arthus." The somewhat shorter, tubbier spearman shook his head as he plucked a bit at the stringed lute as had in his lap at the moment, humming a bit, his rather large chin slightly bouncing as he hummed a few bars, playing some more of the lute. "I think I want to cut my losses." He said, the slight wind in the air a-ruffling his somewhat poofy hair.
"Dylann is right. Ol' Bowen's up for anything…but not a second pounding at the dice." Bowen the Bowman said in his oddly low voice as he sighed and hung his head, shaking it back and forth. Sitting not far away two knights glanced at each other briefly as they stood on opposite sides of Lord Llywelyn, one with a half-visor esque helm who's lower half was slightly dotted with little holes, chainmail on his arms and legs as he hung his own head in dice defeat. His comrade, who wore a helm that was smooth and square-like and with a slightly jutting-out front with plate armor on his arms, but not his legs shook his head too.
"Gawain and I aren't interested in losing again."
"Iolo, come now!" proclaimed Arthus, looking rather mortified. "That's two week's pay you've lost!"
"And I don't want to lose another two weeks." The plate-mail having knight commented. "My dear "Artie"…one must know when to cut one's losses."
"Perhaps Elisud wants in?" Arthus asked as he and the others turned to the young lad who was looking out over the ramparts, who hadn't joined in the fun at all. Elisud, though being the youngest there at age 16, looked far older than he really was. He was already showing the beginnings of a five o'clock shadow with the faintest sign he was going to have quite the beard/moustache combination. He also had a bit of a receding hairline, his hair wafting about in the wind somewhat as he looked across the long stretches of grass to the east.
Elisud turned to look back at them, a slightly surprised…even annoyed…expression on his face. "Um…well, it is just…I mean, I've been told gambling is a sin, good sirs, and I don't want to sin. I AM going to be a Friar."
"Exactly. A Friar. You Franciscans have to take vows of chastity, poverty and obedience. Nothin' in there that says you can't GAMBLE, that ain't one of the 10 Commandments!" Arthus laughed.
"Besides, if you're concerned about the money…just give it back to these fine gentlemen. You can call that "charity"." Lord Llywelyn said with a smile at Elisud as he rubbed the back of his neck. Elisud had been training to be a self-taught Friar for weeks now, he'd read book after book about what it took and he wanted to establish a Franciscan monastery in Wales, there weren't ANY in the entire land and he wanted to be the first.
"Well…okay." He said at last before glancing back across the grass. "But are you absolutely sure we don't need to worry about them?" He wanted to know as he looked back over the long stretches of green at the distinctly white-skinned, odd mixture of ugly and cute that was sitting about 100 yards away from them. He'd been watching that froglike creature for a good ten minutes, and he'd been most unsettled at how it was just STARING at them all.
Froggits, they were called. They looked much like their namesakes, but there was…SOMETHING underneath their little bodies that peered out, some kind of bug of some kind that people suspected allowed the frog-like top to call forth flies to buzz forth and attack the monster's target. The fact that they were only about a foot tall made them a bit more worrisome to deal with than a normal frog, but still…
A frog monster with big stupid eyes that could summon a couple flies or so to buzz at you wasn't too intimidating. At least, the men clearly didn't think so as Dylann plucked at his lute some more and began to play a tune, the men sniggering all around.
"Elisud, it's a damn froggit. They're not scary!" Bowen said as he tapped his foot along to Dylann's tune, the others beginning to hum along as their Lord strolled over to Elisud to look over at the froglike creatures as well. "I mean, a good, hard shot from an arrow will send them scampering away."
"You could kick one into oblivion." Said Sir Iolo as Gawain nodded his agreement. "They're not as dangerous as the Melusine or the Baphomine race."
"Their magical skill's pathetic." Arthus commented. "All they do is summon flies."
Elisud glanced about. "…do any of you hear that?"
"Hear what?" Dylann asked as he stopped fooling with the lute, tilting his head to the side.
"Sort of a…buzzing noise?" Elisud murmured, looking over at the froggits, eyes a little narrowed. "Are they trying to summon their flies?"
"I don't see any over there." The lord remarked as he gazed upon the froggits as well, tilting his head somewhat.
"Really, don't worry, Elisud! The foolish froggits may have numbers but that is all they have. Should any attempt to get within reach of the castle, we shall let loose our arrows on them and they shall perish from the onslaught." Sir Gawain offered to Elisud. "Now come, come!" Gawain rose up too and clasped Elisud on the back. "Try a liiiiittle bit of gambling. You've got a good month to go before you leave us and get started on building the monastery. You can live a little."
"And it's of course an honor to build it with your permission…and money, Lord Llywelyn." Elisud added with a bow. "But if thee don't mind my asking, why did your wife want to help me set it up?"
"I suspect that papal decree from Pope Honorius III has gotten her very grateful towards the Church." Lord Llewelyn mused aloud. "Who am I to deny her? Now come, come! You want to win this gold, don't you?" He asked, shaking the bag about, making it jingle with its many coins. Elisud smiled warmly and sat down on the ramparts as his lord did the same, and Sir Gawain and Iolo began to hum merrily, Dylann beginning to sing as he so often did whilst Bowen and Arthus got out their own respective instruments from nearby bags, a flute and a viol, playing along with Dylann as he closed his eyes and sang joyously.
The song wafted through the air as Elisud and Lord Llywelyn rolled their dice, eager to keep the fun going as the minutes went on, the singing making the group practically glow with a kind of warm, soft light that brought a smile to Elisud's face. Still, even though he was enjoying their singing immensely, he couldn't bring himself to join in, whenever he tried to open his mouth to join in the revelry, he felt himself choke up, his neck tightening.
"If only I had a bit more bravery in me." He sighed sadly. Still, he didn't mind. It was just…nice…to enjoy his time with his wonderful, wonderful comrades here, and nice to have such a good, sweet lord.
"Alas. Snake eyes." His lord sighed as he hung his head, Elisud cheerily holding up the bag of gold he'd just gotten.
"Winning!" He giggled as he held the top open and, one after the other, poured out the winnings for everyone else to take hold of in their palms. "Here you are everyone. My sincerest compliments." He remarked before an idea came to him and he made his way towards the eastern rampart's wall, holding up the still-remaining coins in one hand. "Hello? Froggits?"
The frog monsters ALL turned to look directly in his direction.
"Look, if I were to give thee some coins, would thoust please leave?" Elisud inquired, the rest of his group looking a bit stunned by this, whilst his Lord sighed somewhat. The froggits glanced about at each other, and then "harrumphed".
"Mayhaps they don't have anywhere to put it. Ah well." Lord Llywelyn said with a shrug. "Not everyone welcomes the virtue of charity." He remarked as Elisud walked over to him, giving HIM the last bit of gold he had left, a look of surprise popping on the ruler of Wales's face.
"You didn't have to give me any of it back, I lost it, fair and square." Lord Llywelyn remarked.
"You're already giving me so much, sir." Elisud insisted with a beaming smile. "I could NEVER thank thee enough for that but at the very least I can give you a bit of coinage. Mayhaps use it to buy your wife a new dress with my compliments and deepest gratitude?"
Then he heard it once more. "There it is again!" He groaned, looking left and right. "That BUZZING noise. Don't all of thee hear it?"
The others glanced around, then Bowen sighed as he rose up, readying his bow and arrow and peering down over the ramparts, looking down the walls. "I don't see any silly froggit flies trying to climb up the walls." He called out. "You sure you're not a-hearin' things, Elisud?" He inquired as Elisud rose up, looking about, holding a hand to his ear and closing his eyes.
"The sound is coming from…over…there." He said, gesturing off towards the west as he quickly made his way to the far side of the castle, strolling over a connected pathway bridge, finally arriving at the other side…and his eyes bulged wide with horror. "OH MY GOD!"
Oh his God indeed, for now he saw what the buzzing noise was. The froggits on the eastern side had been a distraction, for a much larger frog that was a good three feet tall and with a crown upon its head stood there, eyes burning like coals, its mouth looking almost like it had been sewn shut, ready to burst open and let loose a horrific, soul-shattering croak. Underneath its body were burning, sickeningly bright eyes, and sweeping all about it…was a SWARM of flies that were sweeping along the grass, barreling towards the castle.
"SIRS! SIRS! We've got a MASSIVE, crowned Froggit to the west!" Elisud cried out. "He's unleashing a swarm of flies upon us all!" Elisud cried out as the men in the courtyard below and on the ramparts immediately bolted upright. Cries rang out as they took hold of their weaponry, Lord Llywelyn seeing the froggits on the east racing towards them.
"They are trying to ensnare us in a pincer movement! We must strike back! Ready your positions! Take aim with your bows, my bowmen and fire, fire, fire! Get me some boiling oil to keep them from getting inside the castle!" He roared out as Elisud reached into the folds of his robes, readying the small crossbow he had by his side as he got out his small little quiver of bows. He drew the string back, readying the bow as he took aim, then cringed. No, no, he could maybe hit a FEW flies but he'd never be able to do any proper damage.
"Light your arrows!" Lord Llywelyn yelled as he and others held up torches, the arrowmen lighting up the arrows they were ready to fire as Elisud did the same, nodding at his lord. "We'll be able to strike more down this way! Here they come!"
The flies had almost reached the castle, that horrific, foul, unnatural buzzing filling the air as the Final Froggit let loose a big, loud, ear-splitting GRRROAAAARRRKKKKK of a noise, and Lord Llywelyn cried "FIRE!"
THWOOSH-THWOOSH-THWOOSH! Arrows soared forth, rapped in burning flames, barreling down at the flies, others aimed at the onslaught of froggits. The screeches and cries of dying Froggits was oddly human in how they sounded, it was SCARY how much a frog's cry was like a man's. But down they went all the same as the bowmen kept firing, big, large, burning chunks getting torn through the ensuing flies. The horde broke again and again, the attempt to break through the castle defenses appeared to be failing.
But Elisud could see a distinctly smug look on the Final Froggit's face. He kept hopping leisurely towards the castle, and the flies kept coming. Elisud didn't know why he was so smug and cheery but-
Then he realized why as he reached into his quiver and found out that he'd run out of arrows. And evidently, so had most of his friends! The men were clearly out of arrows and now they were trying to pour down boiling oil as the flies soared towards them…but the flies could dodge these far more easily than the arrows, soaring up, away from the boiling oil to shoot down at the men.
"AGGGHHH!" Elisud could see his comrades being swarmed by loads and loads of flies. Though the Froggit assault from their front line had failed miserably, the Final Froggit's flies were succeeding very well. They tried to swat and slash and bat at the insects sweeping all about them, getting in their eyes, biting at their flesh, but though they knocked several of them down, it was proving nigh-impossible to kill the little pests.
Only those who'd put on armor had some degree of protection as they were being kept from being bit…until the flies got into their hoods, forcing folks like Gawain and Iolo to rip their helmets off as quickly as they could, spluttering, coughing, digging at their eyes, the flies trying to eat their eyeballs out!
Elisud gasped in horror, surrounded on all sides by his beset friends, the screaming of the dying and the hurt and the terrified all around him. He had to do something. ANYTHING! Anything at all! He had to get rid of all of these flies! He turned, seeing the Final Froggit now atop the ramparts, a distinctly smug look on its features as it stuck its tongue out mockingly at him.
"Not so high and mighty in your castle NOW, are you, humans?" It inquired as Elisud felt a shudder go over him, the frog-like monster gazing right at him as…something unexpected happened.
In fact…three things happened in quick succession.
PING! A big, green heart manifested in midair in front of Elisud, and the Final Froggit sneered at him again, Elisud's eyes widening.
A powerful, yet oddly soothing and tender balm of emerald light rose up around Esliud's frame as his vibrant verdant eyes sparkled.
And he covered his face and his head with his arms, flopping onto his knees, wanting the flies and the froggy monster to just go away, as an enormous, pulsating, throbbing shield of green light cascaded forth, shooting out from his body. THA-THWOOOOM! All of the flies around him, and the Final Froggit too, went sailing through the air, the other flies dissolving away in midair as the Final Froggit's concentration was shattered by the sudden burst of what could only be described…
As MAGIC. Pure Green Magic…from a Soul of Kindness.
TRHROMPH. He hit the ground, groaning, the men gazing in amazement, fear and wonder at Elisud as he looked down at his hands, which slightly glowed with the same green light as the shield, the Final Froggit quickly hopping away from the castle as fast as his little legs could carry him, not wanting to stick around to fight a MAGE as Lord Llywelyn approached Elisud, and the obvious question came from his lips.
"Elisud…how in the name of everything holy did you do that?"
"I haven't any idea." Elisud whispered. "…what did I just DO?"
"That's MAGIC, my boy. Magic, right there. No doubt about it!" Gawain whispered, bite marks all over his cheeks and left side of his face, whilst poor Bowen was missing one of his fingers, nibbled off by the flies as he had his hand wrapped up, and was cringing in pain. "I've only heard stories of the wonders of the mages."
"Does anyone know anything of what green magic does?" Dylann inquired as Iolo rubbed over his eye. He had a VERY nasty wound, the flies had tried to eat it out of its socket and had eaten the eyelid away.
"It's healing magic. Shielding magic. The sign of a compassionate and kind soul." He whispered as Elisud's mouth fell agape. "Perchance he could heal our wounds."
"I can…try." Elisud murmured.
"Try to think of how you used it just now. What was going through your mind?" Lord Llywelyn asked, putting a hand on Elisud's shoulder as he bit his lip.
"I…just wanted that monster to leave us alone. That thought flared in my mind, in my heart. I just wanted him to GO, and…and something erupted up inside me."
"Concentrate then on…Bowen, for starters. Bowen, your wound!" Lord Llywelyn proclaimed as Bowen raced over to Elisud, the others watching on in awe, as Esliud held onto Bowen's hand. "Think only of healing his wound. Try to picture his healed hand in your mind. All of you, stay silent! Let him focus. Let him breathe. Let him feel the swell of healing light within." The lord reasoned as Esliud took in deep, long breaths, as he closed his eyes, his hands feeling over Bowen's injured hand, picturing the flesh growing back.
Slowly but surely, he felt the surge a-swelling up in him but…no, no, it was more like a soft ripple. A gentle wave, a balm that soothingly slid from his hands in a tender green aura, as Bowen's finger began to grow back, good as new, right before their eyes.
"Tis a miracle." Bowen softly whispered, tears brimming in his eyes. "Tis truly a blessing from God himself that you'd gain this power, at our most dire hour! There can't be any other explanation!"
"Now, now, Elisud has other wounds to treat. But once he has finished, we celebrate." Lord Llywelyn proclaimed firmly as he gently patted Elisud's back. "Esliud, your hands were meant to heal, that much is true. And we'll celebrate tonight with a glorious feast in your name."
"I don't know if I deserve it, sir. Anyone with my gift would surely do the same." Esliud said humbly as he blushed somewhat.
"Then we'll celebrate to God's grace, that allowed us to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Sound better to thy ears?" Lord Llywelyn asked as Esliud warmly smiled back.
"I don't think God would mind that at all, sir. Nor would I. You all honor me with your faith in my new skills, I only hope I can do right by you." He insisted with a bow of his head.
Meanwhile, the Final Froggit had made his way far across the expanse to the west, and had found refuge within the forest, a deep, dark woods indeed. The lack of sun from the quilt of clouds above made the only light from within be illuminated all the more as a burning figure stood in powerful armor, sitting on a big, gigantic dolmen, surrounded by a host of other creatures, all of whom were radically different from each other. There were creatures with only one eye and nasty, foul horns, the eye in the center of their gigantic head. It would blink every once in a while, and shift, and the one eye became two tiny ones with a little, smirking mouth. Another being would have been adorable in its tiny little winged armor, save for the coldness that emanated from its helmet as it spun a spear about. A big, hulking, horned knight of a monster had a gigantic Morningstar resting upon its shoulder, and it turned to the burning, humanoid being in armor, clearing its throat.
"The Regimental Leader of the Froggit Squad's Welsh Platoon 1 is here, sir."
The Final Froggit was allowed to pass by the towering behemoth of a monster as the burning being folded his arms over his chest. Upon examination, the being was…just barely an adult. He looked eighteen, really, with fire for skin, for hair, and lacking a proper face, save for two yellowish, intense spots that resembled eyes.
"How did it go?"
"…miserably." The Regimental Leader sighed. "I'm very, very sorry Lord Grillersby. They had a mage with them. One blast of his shield scattered my flies and sent me flying, and my divisions…well…I have no divisions. They crumbled from the onslaught of arrows, and are now but dust in the wind."
"That is very unfortunate." Grillersby, better known as "Grillby" to his friends, sighed as he hopped off the dolmen and paced back and forth. "Still, we need a good foothold in Wales and killing their king would finally teach the humans they can't keep pushing us around. He's the weakest and easiest to get to of all the rulers of these islands. If we can't get to him, we certainly won't be able to get any of the others!"
"What of the one they call Cu Chulainn, sir?" The Regimental Leader asked as everyone else drew in a deep, harsh breath. "Has Melusine not proven effective against him?"
"You would THINK." Grillersby grunted. "…you would think. Unfortunately, it would seem the rumors are true. He's as a demon on the field of battle. Sigh." He hung his head. "I'm going to have to write back to poor Asgore and let him know the bad news. And that means he's going to have to give his Father the bad news. And I'll have to deliver it myself to ensure the letter isn't intercepted before it gets to our dear skeletal friends in England..."

36,720 Bells At Once!!
If you are a cheater like me you will love doing this. First you go to Tom Nook’s and go to the option “say code,” then enter the code for the jingle dresser (3 is the max you can do at once). Then open the presents and sell them. You will get 36,720 bells. Then to repeat this go and save and quit, and then go back (no time will need to be changed), and enter the code for the jingle dresser 3 times more. Note: This is a good hint for paying off your debt to Tom Nook.
IDIOT PELICANS!!!!
I just don’t understand the pelicans on this game. Normally you think there’s 3 pelicans on animal crossing right? Pelly the sweet day time post office lady pete the love sick delivery guy and phylis the grumpy night post office lady? WRONG! Actually there’s 4 pelicans! The one I speak of is “pelliper”. Pelliper is a sailor that doesn’t know how to swim, wears an EXTREMELY child like sailor costume and constantly washes up on the beach of you town. When you see him he looks like hes dead. But he isnt! All you have to do is keep talking to him and he’ll wake up! When he does he thinks you saved his life and thanks you with an extremely rare item he “borded off a seedy looking merchant in afar away land, you won’t find another like it! . At least I don’t think you will. ” (is what he says to you after he gives it to you). Now you can only find him on rare occasions, cause, well, its not every day a funny lookin’ pelican was his up on the beach, but you can ALWAYS find him during any festival that takes place: AT THE WELL! Some people don’t get that. No matter how big I type it. Any way good luck finding him hes, very, very, very, odd. p. S: when you talk to him he tells you about his travels and how his many gold fish were heart broken when he left them,. He gets one at every port. (thats the only reason I actually believe hes a REAL sailor, cuz he said he gets one “at every PORT”.

While he’s delivering the mail, you have a chance to talk to him. Once he’s done delivering the mail, he’ll fly away, so you better be quick if you want to talk to him. He will just say stuff like I’m busy, don’t talk to me right now.

Soon it will grow into a golden tree and when you shake it and a golden shovel will come down.
Live Anyware
This is kind of stupid because you will loose your house. To do it you need 2 memory cards. One with your town data and one with 3 avalable blocks. Talk to porter and say you are going on a trip with the memory card with town data in slot A and the other one in slot B. When he is done saving data take out the memory card in slot B. Say your you they’ll say you are traveling and are you sure you want to play. Say “sure”. Then as soon as you get out of your house, save and quit. Then when they ask “Are you all ready?” say “Before I go” and say other things, demolish a house of the person you want to live anywhere with. Make sure the memory card is out while you are doing this.

Bug Hunting Tips
Bug Huntin Tips:1. You'll find a lot of butterflys near flowers on the island2. Um. I found a grasshopper on flowers on the island3. You'll have to be fast to catch dragonflys4. You can be fast to catch butterflys and ladybugs, but try to be soundless when aproaching.
Don
Resett the game many times.Eventually Don (Ressetis big bro.) will appear and insult Mr. Resseti.
Make Someone Mad Enough To Move Away
Okay this is stupid but who cares. First get a shovel then go find somone in you’re town and hit them on the head three times. After the last hit they will get really mad at you. Then they might move.
Multiply Your Money
To do this you must have 2 memory cards (one with town data and another without town data). First deposit all of your money into the post office. Then go save travel data onto your 2nd memory card. Now go back as the funny looking person without a face. Go and take out all of the money and drop it outside the post office, and save and quit. After that put the memory card with the travel data back in and the animal will say “Huh?” “You already came back from traveling. Then they will ask you if you want to continue. Press “Yes” now go back take the money that you dropped out side the post office. You will now notice that you have the same amount of money in the post office as you do in your inventory.
House Model And Manor Model
If your house is very stylish to the point where you get over 70,000 points from the Happy Room Academy, you will get a house model. If your house gets over 100,000 points you get a manor model. Also the models have the same color roof as your actual house.
Multiplayer
If you and a friend both happen to play animal crossing. And if you live in the same village. you will think of fun things to do with each other. I know four but i will only share one. Beacuse you should invent your own it would be alot funner for you. You can go bury something say in area c-4 then have your friend load up there character and have them go find it. Only one person can run around town at a time, you cant run into each others characters but you can still go and look in ther house and you can still find your animal friends.
Rocky Jackpot
Each day, one of the large rocks in your town will contain alot of bells. ( As you should know.) If you strike one that turns red keep hitting it for more bells, duh! Whats that you move out of place when you hit it? Oh that can be fixed. But DON’T hit the rocks at all yet. first dig three holes by the rock in a v shape pattern. ( You know what v’s look like dont you? the point of the v should be as close to the rock as possible.) Then get in the hole closest to the rock then hammer on the A button. you can get up to 13,300 bells a day, even more if you follow feng shei! REMEBER DO NOT HIT ANY OF THOSE STUPID ROCKS UNTIL YOU HAVE THE V SHAPED PATTERN DUG BY THE ROCK!!!!!!! Beacuse if you hit the rock before that you wont get a second chance. Well thats it I hope that hint was helpfull have fun playing. Happy gaming
Museum Model
To get the museum model all you have to do is fill in the museum with everything.
How To Get Rid Of A Mean Neighbor
Say you have Rolf as a neighbor and you can’t stand him anymore. OK, send him or her a letter but only say one letter like A. After that go to the dump see if you have a can or boot. Pick it up send it to the neighbor, and wait for a response of “I’m moving and I’m never coming back.”
Get All The Harvest Furniture In One Day!
As you know, to get the harvest furniture take the fork and knife from the table (go up to them and press the b button) and bring them back to the turkey guy. But you can do this more than once. After you give him the forks and knives go back and take them again and give it to him again until you have all the harvest material. This is good for bringing up your score in with the Happy Room Academy (HRA).
What Happen’s When You Pay Off Your House??
I’m here to say that i have succsefully payed off all of my debts to Mr. Nook, The prize isnt really all that great but if you like large golden statues of yourself then i think you’ll be interested in paying off your house. The easiest way to do this is to wait till its raining then go to teh ocean at 12:00 AM to catch teh colecaneth, then after you catch it about 2-5 times you can start to catch Red Snappers, Barred Knifejaw. Before you know it you’ll be running around town and watching over the train station at one time! O ya!
How To Make Golden Trees Grow
If you are wondering why your Golden Trees are not growing? Here is your answer. First of all, the best time to grow a Golden Tree is in the spring. Second of all, you are most like likely to save your game and quit, and change the date to a differant date. But thats where you are wrong, you are suppost to chang the date to one day after you planted the money or shovel to get a Golden Tree.
See Mr. Ressesti While Listing To K.K.
If you have seen Mr. R at least 2 times then when K.K. is playing look in the top left corner of your screen when leaves strt falling to see him it whille be short. So be on your toes.
More Fruit Trees Than What You Have!
When you talk to somebody, it gives you 3 options: “Gimme a job”, “What’s up?”, or “My mistake”. They may not say those EXACT words, but they all do the same thing. When you talk to different animals to the point when they get EXTREMELY annoyed, they will some times want to trade you items if you have alot of them. They say things like “I’ve noticed that you have a Bell cricket with you, can I trade you this fruit?” Once you’ve gotten the fruit, BURY IT IN A HOLE! DO NOT EAT IT! The more you get, the better chance you have of them growing. The best part of this trick is: TOM NOOK PAYS YOU 500 BELLS FOR ANY EXOTIC FRUIT! Say it with me: Payoff?

Item Trading By Codes
This is one of the coolest and most unique features of the game. You can trade items with other people in other towns without the use of memory card trading. Find someone who wants an item that you are willing to trade off, then go to Tom Nook’s store. Select Other Things from the menu and the select Hear Code. Type in that person’s name and town name, and then give the item to Tom. This is the crucial part: make sure you get the code correctly or the item will be lost. He will give you a code that contains the recipient’s name and town, as well as what item it is, in crypted code. Give this code to the person that wanted that item and he would go to Nook and select Say Code and put in the code you gave him. Voila, he now has that item. Have him do the same to return the favor.
Pay Off Your Debt
There is a quick and easy way to pay off your debt to Tom Nook. At the beginning of the game, when you see the animal asking if you’re ready to go, select other opions, more options, and then set clock. Set the clock to Jan 1st. Check in your mail and there will be a letter with 10,000 bells in it. Save and repeat this process, adding on another year every time. Once you are done, deposit or keep the money, and change the clock back to normal time. The only side effect is that weeds have now grown all over your town. But dont worry about that. It took me about 45 minuets to take them all out. Anyway, I would only recommend doing this if you are paying back your second payment for your larger room because pulling up weeds is annoying. If you talk to him, he’ll ask you if you want to upgrade your house, or add a basement. The choice is yours, but I would definitely recommend a basement to store junk. (the HRA doesnt check your basement:-)
Extra Songs On Saturday
As you may know, you can only get one song from K.K. Slider every Saturday. To get more songs on the same day, travel to another village and get one from him there, or play the game in your village as another character that has been created. Then just put in the Gyroid for free and then you can claim it.
Expand Your House
If you pay off your debt to Tom Nook everytime he give ya one he will ask if you want to expand your house, if you say yes he will ask what color you want your roof, then he’ll say it will be expanded over night, then he’ll give you another fee (don’t expect ’em to be cheap they can go over 100,000,000 bells!!!!) but they only get bigger each time you expand your house so don’t worry about that for a long time, then he may also expand his shop too! But if you say you don’t want to expand your house oh well just live in a cramped house the rest of your game life.
Feng Shui
Certain items are feng shui items. Feng shui items bring good luck when recieving gifts or money management. Not every piece of furniture is a feng shui color but if you manage to get one put it in your house green is south orange is north red is east and yellow is west.
Special Visitor Tracker
Everyday you should go to cooper at the police station because he can tell you if anyone has come or is coming to town.
Tom Nooks Shop Expansion
If you buy and sell from Tom Nook all the time he may get new and better items. If you do it enough he may even make his shop bigger to hold more items.
Summertime Items
Sometimes in the summer people will take a vacation to your town. When they do they might give you a gift that you can only get from them.
Snowman Items
When snow is on the ground, the snowman may appear in two halves. Roll them together to recieve an item that you can only get from him.

If you find yourself short of poket-space, fill up your letter part of the menu and put items as gifts attached to letters. It even works on letters recieved.
Moving Animals/Residents
If you made another town and your residents from YOUR town moved to it, here’s how to get them back! Every time you get on a train to visit a town and come back a resident moves to that town you visited. So, if you want them back make a new character in the other town the resedent moved to(unless you already have one) and go on the train and visit the town your other guy lives in and come back. One of the character has moved! These are random residents every time. keep taking a trip and back until all of the other residents moved back! Note: at least five residents must stay in one town!
Rare Fruits
Each town has a certain native fruit that can be sold in that town for 100 Bells. If you travel to another town, you can sell that fruit for a whopping 500 Bells. And the same goes in reverse. If you collect a foriegn fruit from another town, you can sell it in your town for 500 Bells apiece.
The Turnip Market
On Sundays, you can buy turnips from the travelling turnip sales-boar, Joan. Later that week, you can sell the turnips to Nook for a HUGE profit.
Wisp
Between midnight and 4am you can find a wisp or ghost around the town. Talk to him and he will give you a gift or pick all the weeds.
Easy Money
When bees appear from trees, take out your butterfly net and face the beehive. If you can catch a bee, you can sell it for $4500.Place orange furniture to the north, green furniture to the south, yellow furniture to the west, and red furniture to the east part of your house.Note: This trick requires a Game Boy Advance and a link cable. Play the game with the Game Boy Advance attached. Collect as much fruit as possible and travel all the way to the south. Go the pier at the beach. A Kappa will be there and will to bring you to a new island to the south. Get to the new island and drop all of your fruit. Return to the Kappa and leave. Transfer the island to the Game Boy Advance. On the Game Boy Advance, knock on the door to the house of the island animal. After it appears, move a piece of fruit in front of the animal. It will eat it and become happy. Keep repeating this until the animal drops money bags. Feed all your fruit to the animal, then put your Game Boy Advance on standby. Resume the game on the Gamecube. Go back to town, then return and talk to the Kappa again. Your game will now be updated with the Game Boy Advance data. Travel back to the island and collect the money bags.Go around town with your shovel and hit every rock you can find. One of them should turn red when you hit it. Keep hitting it to get more money.Every New Year your parents give you 10,000 bells. Change the system date on the Gamecube or in the Animal Crossing options and change the date to the new year. Check the mail box and you will have 10,000 bells from your parents. Repeat the process, but change the year.Dig for fossils every time you play. When the museum fills up with fossils, you can make a mint at Nook's or trade with residents for good items with fossils. Skulls of dinosaurs seem to be worth the most, usually bringing in 4,000 to 6,000.Play the Stalk Market. Turnips do not seem like that much of a commodity, but its gold in the game. You can make a fortune buying Turnips and selling them at the right price.
Fishing
If you are not catching the fish you want to catch, move to another section of the map and fish there. Some fish are only found in certain areas. When fishing, do not actually reel in the fish (press A) until you see the bobber go under the water.Fish at the ocean in the rain. You have a much greater chance of catching the Coelacanth. They sell for 15,000 a fish. Also, you have a greater chance of catching the Barred Knifejaw and Red Snapper. They sell for 5,000 and 3,000 respectively. Generally, fishing in the rain is much easier, but in the ocean, for easy money. Also, its easier to fish at night.
Skip Time
When the Gamecube logo appears, hold A + B to get to the memory card screen. You can change the system clock to whatever time you wish. Begin the game and you should start at that day.The game allows you to change the setting before you load it when beginning. When it asks "Are you ready?", the options are "Yes" and "Before I go". Select "Before I go" and it will allow you to change the game's time without changing with the system clock (which also effects other Gamecube games that rely on it) Also, if you have bought turnips to sell them in the Stalk Market and change the system clock or the game time, they may go bad. It depends on the amount of time -- the game remembers.Note: Play a little every day. While you can reset the game's clock and go to Nook's store, this gets old. Also, resetting the clock disrupts timed events that you do not know about. The game is filled with events that depend on month, day, and hour. It is better to just play the game as it unfolds. You will get more furniture, carpet, etc. this way. When you change the time, it disrupts the chain of events permanently and you may end up actually getting less new things then you would if you just played the game as it was supposed to be played.
Easy Items
One of the best ways to get new items that you cannot buy is to do work for the residents, and do it often. Do their little chores and they will (more often than not) reward you with things that are hard to come by in Nook’s store.Talk to people whenever you are near them. Sometimes they will ask you if you want to take a table or some clothes or other things off their hands. Also, do errands for people often. If there are no errands available you will only have to wait ten minutes.
Talking To People
When you are talking to residents, talk the same person repeatedly. Talking to them too much will upset them. However, in a few minutes they will get over it. By doing this, they will reveal more of the workings of Animal Crossing to you. You also stand a much greater chance of playing a game, getting free items, or trading things with them.
Golden Shovel
First, buy two shovels. Find a piece of glowing earth and dig it up. Then, plant a shovel in the glowing earth.
Golden Fishing Pole
Catch all 40 types of fish. Note: There may be more or less.
Golden Butterfly Net
Catch all 40 types of bugs.
Golden Axe
Get your town rating to be “Perfect” for two entire weeks. The Golden Axe is indestructible.
Growing A Money Tree
First, find a glowing piece of earth. Dig it up and you get a money bag. Plant the money bag in the glowing hole and a seedling will sprout, which will grow in to a money tree.
Getting NES Games
Talk to the townspeople until they ask you when your birthday is. Most of them will say something similar to “How would you like a train set for your birthday?” Answer “Yes” and you will put in your birthday. On your birthday, one of the townsfolk will be outside your house. He or she will present you with a NES. For example, Virgos will get Donkey Kong.
Mr. Resetti
Reset the Gamecube during the game. Start the game again and Mr. Resetti will appear to complain. Repeat this to make him more angry.
