Brain is trying to come up with an omniscient reader au for kotlc and that would actually be fun to write

Keefe as kim dokja because they both have that smart/dumb energy, hide their emotions, and are super self-sacrificial

Tam as yoo joonghyuk because they both are bitter at the world but also care a lot. Also who else would have that dynamic with Keefe? (As for their relationship, romantic or platonic would work great)

Sophie as han sooyoung partially because I felt like it, but I think it would kinda fit. I mean, Sophie's more selfless than hsy, but it fits better than others (something something, Sophie genuinely does want a better world, but like tam, is willing to do bad things to achieve it) (platonic sokam would be fun)

Fitz as yoo sangah so he can be keefe's friend still but also he's pretty sweet and reasonable but also fierce when he needs to be. (background enemies to lovers sophitz is an option)

Biana as jung heewon (okay so I'm not quite sure how to make the vacker siblings siblings but I can figure that out later) because you can't tell me that 'Judge of Evil' Biana beating up evil people doesn't sound so cool (this is purely self-indulgent but Biana and Heewon my beloveds)

Dex as lee hyunsung mostly because idk. There's a lot of changes here but it doesn't feel as serious

Okay so on one hand Marella (kinda) has the personality of lee jihye but c'mon. jihye is a naval commander who has trauma associated associated the ocean does this not give linh vibes? Then I can do a whole bunch of stuff to make the fact that her and tam are siblings (I mean, yjh takes in ljh every time so this makes sense)

Marella wouldn't really get to be a character exactly in orv but I can put her in with keefe's group esp since lgy isn't there. She'd fit right in

I have no patience to make up constellations so I might use the ones from orv. Their skills/stigmas and stuff would change to suit them though (shadow reading can be similar to Sage's Eye, Keefe mimicking can be like bookmark, linh controlling water can be like ghost fleet)
