Also, people in the country tend to ask questions sparingly — two single sisters living together for decades? Sure. Two male best friends sharing a farm? Awesome. Next.
You know what? Destroy the "people in rural areas are all ignorant conservatives" stereotype and start mocking the "trad"/anti-feminist/neonazi people that are obsessed with rural areas despite having never been to one

I want to take a few minutes and talk about censorship because a lot more people feel the same way I do about it.
In my opinion, censorship is the dumbest thing out there, more so now that you have 5 year olds with smart devices and internet access. Why should I have to censor what I say or how much clothing I wear(all within reason of course, more on this later) when if these 5 year olds mentioned could find a site like LiveLeak for example, lie about the age confirmation, and see some of the worst things the internet has to offer?
I’m going to break up my feelings of each of the above mentioned things that are censored regularly as well as how I feel standards should be held.
Let’s start with Language.
On this I’m not saying words can’t hurt, but it is not the word that hurts. It is the person hearing said word and being offended by it. What is the difference between “cunt” or “fuck”, two of the “worst” swear words, and “cat” or “dog”?
This goes on to racial slurs as well. As a white person, nobody of any race has ever offended me by calling me a cracker, Redneck, Hillbilly, Honky(Honkey, or Honkie), White Trash, Trailer Trash, Hick, Bumpkin, Good ol’ boy, Peckerwood, or Whitey. And yes, I have been called a few of these in serious tones and situations.
Now I am by no means saying that the words “cunt” and “fuck”, or any racial slur,  should be used freely in every sentence that comes out of your mouth. There is a saying that goes “Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should.”
When it comes to raising kids, they should be taught not to be hurt by words and should also be taught standards such as when you can and should use such words. I do not believe anyone should be stopped from saying a word because it hurts someones feelings.
Now on to my views on clothing.
Why does it make a difference if a man walks around shirtless, which is socially accepted, and a woman does, which is not socially accepted? Either way it is the human body. Just because anatomy builds the genders for different reasons in different shapes, that should not be a reason to say one can do this but the other cannot.
I’m am unaware of any studies that have been done on this next point so this is entirely my opinions an beliefs.
When I bring up that last point about men and women walking around topless I am often given the counter argument of “Well men see women’s chests more of a sexual body part while women don’t see men’s chests like that.” Well let me ask you this, If men and women were both socially accepted to go around topless since the beginning of man would that still be the case? I don’t believe so because men being socially accepted to be topless is just because it has be accepted for so long that it is just the norm. If women were the same way who is to say that women’s chests wouldn’t be the same way?
Again, I do feel standards should be put in place, such as consent of the person if they want to dress that way or not, as well as public decency. You shouldn’t be able to go out in public wearing nothing but a pair of underpants. You should still have to dress appropriately for the occasion. Like the saying I used for the language, “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”
In short, I see it as people getting offended because they want the attention of calling someone out on something. It’s not the person doing, dressing, or saying something that is offensive, it is how people around decide to take it in. This is why comedians get so much flak. They make a joke and a lot of people will laugh, but there will also be a lot who get offended. Why is that? Were some people, such as myself, raised better when it comes to this topic? To not get offended by every little thing? Sure there are things you should get offended over, but stupid stuff like this is none of those things.
As one last disclaimer: I only used the example of white racial slurs because nobody is offended by them. Not even people who pretend to get offended.
