Still laughing over the fact that when I showed the first four HOTD episodes to my dad, his strongest reaction to anything (except the childbirth scenes and him glaring at me when Daemon was having problems with his sonic screwdriver) was “what??? So you think it’s weird for her to sleep with the knight but NOT when her uncle had her against the wall?!?”, and short of me straight up saying I hardcore shipped an uncle and niece in this show, the only excuse I could come up with was “yeah but it’s Matt Smith”... and my dad must have decided to just accept that as a reasonable explanation because he didn’t say another word, his brain clearly decided “okay, fair enough, I don’t think I want to think about my daughter’s lust for the eyebrowless man right now”.
