passing the time until the episode comes on. going purely off the first thing that comes to my head for each one

mori: manager

kouyou: those tiny fruity tarts. you know the ones. also generally stuff that use a lot of creams and such in them, yknow? like those layered mousse cakes and such. bc every bakery has those despite it not being baked in any way

chuuya: fancy tall cakes. wedding cakes and the likes. or those 6 layer pride flag cakes. yeah

akutagawa: cookies of the basic butter/sugar sorts that come in all sorts of shapes and such. yeah

gin: decorating these cookies^ and other things in general (like she'd be the one writing birthday messages on cakes.)

tachihara: actually watching the ovens n shit. he's the guy making sure nothing gets burned and the kitchen's running smoothly

hirotsu: pastries. simple, no decorations, purely taste and texture based. he never misses

higuchi: register + barista for the costumers who want a little extra something with their dessert

odasaku bc i want him to be there: savory baked goods (i feel like he'd make really good and hearty pastries filled with like curry and meat and this'll be the staple food tourists feel compelled to try)

kajii: fried desserts like donuts and such. also, figures out new recipes in his free time

elise: taste tester :)

"mafia" in hebrew is written the same way as the word for "bakery" which makes me think of a beautiful world where the port mafia is actually a bakery and they each have a specialty like one person focuses on pies and another on fancy cakes with all sorts of frostings etc. and they still kill people
