for now i think their first meeting is still the same as the cheesecake manor mystery thing bc its generic and cute BUT i just think its funny that walnut just met her dads Ex Basically and didnt know it. likewise w roguefort not realising this is the daughter of their Ex Basically

i cant think of anything specific plot wise rn but ooohh i just think that roguefort at first just respects walnut sm for her intelligence and good eye. and walnut sees them as a worthy opponent she takes them seriously she doesnt underestimate them and shes Fair with them (as shown in the butter painting affair)

i think this kind of base view is important when writing rivals/enemies HDNND they have to see the other as a worthy equal they shld respect the other as their enemy they shld not underestimate their enemies

eventually tho roguefort finds that they care for her a Lot more than they realise. also forgot to note that after the abandonment, roguefort sticks by the Flying Solo mindset. no time for alliances or partners or wtv they can only trust themself. that includes Family i think like they start having this mindset that even family can let u down no matter how much u give.

walnut is pretty stubborn like her father ( def more stubborn and impulsive tho ) so i think shes gonna have a bit of a harder time expressing care for roguefort ( she cares a lot she doesnt want them to crumble or get hurt ).

also just thought of smth plot wise a bit but like i need for smth to happen that allows both almond and roguefort to disappear and that its up to walnut ( and my oc, who happens to be rogueforts emotionally adopted kid but rn were focusing on just walnut JDNJD.. ) to save her dad and her arch nemesis

i also think that during the escape, almond gets hurt (BUT NOT TOO HURT TO THE POINT HE DIES i can not kill him or any of them i wld be so sad) like i thino he loses a leg or two and is pretty much paralyzed. bed rest for a good while and its so so hard on both roguefort and walnut, both thinking they couldve done better to protect him. theyr both blaming themselves while simultaneously telling the other its not their fault HDNDND comfort ensues
