I’ll listen to their top song on Spotify & tell you my thoughts: so i actually went ahead and listened to their top 5 songs on spotify

teardrop: my first sf9 song! the intro and pre-chorus were especially nice but i found the chorus to be a little lackluster and a bit more minimalist than i would have liked. I liked the last chorus with the incorporation of the rap though. Overall i would give this one 5.5/10

good guy: i really like the rap verses in this one. I have the same issues with this one as teardrop where i feel like the chorus just needed one more element or something. I think i liked this song overall a bit more than teardrop but i think i prefer the chorus of teardrop over this chorus 7/10

o sole mio: this track immediately piqued my interest with the guitar in the beginning. The chorus is super catchy and interestingly in this song the rap is my least favorite part lol. The chorus is easily the best part of this song for me 6/10

now or never: really liked the pre-chorus for this one and I think this one overall is very catchy. it's clear to me that they like that house vibe with their music (or at least from the songs i've heard) but overall this one is my fave so far 7.5/10

scream: i think it's because i've been listening to all of these songs in a row but i had a hard time differentiating this one from the previous song. honestly this one didn't stand out to me too much but i don't think i'd skip it if it came on the radio or something 5.5/10

for this i looked through their kprofiles page. it might be biased because some of the images are from a different photoshoot but the member that really stood out to me was Inseong. I think that lighting was very flattering and it probs didn't hurt that that was one of the pictures where you could more clearly see the member's face.

overall i think their music is great for radio but i don't think there was anything that super stood out to me. I'd be interested if they did a more rap heavy song or something more ballady but it seems like house music is their specialty.
