Have seen a few people asking about tips for keeping figures clean but haven’t seen this recommended:

Hand pump dusters are fantastic when used proactively. If you use them once every week or 2 you’ll never see dust building up on your collection. Unlike compressed air they are lower pressure (less chance to break delicate parts), don’t contain caustic chemicals that can interact with the paint on your figures, and are MUCH cheaper since you can buy one of these for about $5 and it will last through years of use.

They won’t do much for really caked on dust, but if you start fresh after cleaning your collection with a blush brush, and consistently use the hand pump, it will deliver fantastic results!
