as requested, i deliver!

although i couldnt just buy it because the store my mum and i usually get our cakes and such from (an organic store! very good stuff c:) doesnt make butterscotch pies. so i decided to make it ourselves! here it is in its current state:

its going to cool off through the night, and then tomorrow we will add some whipped cream to top if off!

i know it doesnt look the best, the edges are a bit burned and uneven, and the filling is probably too dark, but its my first time making caramel period, let alone a cake for a special someone (the devil, platonic) and although my mum used to be a professional cook and baker, the recipe we used was a bit confusing. this is of course all excuses for me messing up completely, but i hope youll understand Mr. Lucifer ":))))
