favorite thing about them

The fact that despite the world absolutely crushing her in both body and soul, she still puts on the happy facade, which is something that takes a massive amount of strength. I can respect that, as that's tough shit.

least favorite thing about them

The fact that she doesn't always seem to think about consequence? Mag reads to me as someone who while she does think her actions through, doesn't always think about the long term. It makes for an interesting character, but it can be infuriating.

Yield for nothing." - Chase the Morning I know this is a bit of a duo-line, as Marni sings the last bit of the line but it is, in a way a beautiful line and one that Mag does end up following for herself. She did what she wanted to, chose a less favorable outcome that worked for her despite circumstance, and as she did it, she yielded for nothing.

random headcanon

Wherever it is that Mag resides, there's not a single amount of medicine within reach for her. Even so much as an asperin, she will have to ask for. Sure, it is because GeneCo controls the entire market but is was also a means of control over her. Tired of begging, Mag stopped asking. As such, she's used to living with small pains. This, subsequently is also why I imagine Mag wasn't as opposed to gouging her own eyes out.

As much as I adore Sarah Brightman in the role of Blind Mag, I would have loved a Blind Mag of colour, as was in the original play. Though, a lot of Mag fans will disagree with me on this one, probably.
