In the alive au Rosa found Williams journal describeing the actions he wanted to take to get immortality (the stuff he did in the original au) and she called the cops on him and he got arrested because it was obvious he wanted to do all of that and she told Evan and Michael that "daddy had to go away" and when Elizabeth was older she ended up asking why they had no dad and she said the same thing but when Evan started working at the mall and met Michael when he joined he realized that William probably got arrested and has yet to ask his mom if that's what happened
