Thinking of the Prague Arc, I wonder if Johan posing as his sister had issues with men not only staring at and approaching him at the bar but anywhere else. Like, Jan Suk started obsessing for "Anna" just by seeing "her" at the supermarket a couple times ffs, and he was rather shy (Nina would have rejected him for sure imo, not unlike Johan pretending to be her did, in fact). What if not-so-nice guys followed and/or cat-called him outside at night?

Nina is popular with men as she's also perfectly capable of defending herself and Johan probably knows it, though he's already very protective of her in his own way and who knows, maybe literally wearing her shoes made him empathize with his sister even more.
