Possibly my favorite thing about this new job is that everyone else speaks Spanish as a first language so I FINALLY have no excuse to keep ignoring the green owl
#I mentioned this elsewhere and a boomer relative got all bent out of shape#“they should learn english” actually it doesn't matter what language they do their job in where we are#we're baking they can bake in spanish all they fuckin want#“don't you feel left out” no because I'm not the center of the universe#also it's really fuckin nice to just roll some pastry and vibe and focus on developing my skills while these lovely women chat around me#people translate when I need to be included and otherwise I'm just like “hell yeah let's make some butter blocks”
