Hello~ I was wondering if you could do a headcannon for a Crocodile x reader who has worked with him since Alabasta. As of late, after forming Crossguild, he's realizing that he has feelings for her and it pisses him off.
It's good I reread this because I almost starting writing you having feelings and it annoying him. Anyway I know headcanons are usually formatted different and worded different so I just tried to copy what i've seen. Sorry if it's weird, it's my first time. Be gentle 🥺. If i did something wrong just tell me. Also my first ask that isn't me squeee!
Crocodile the love struck (reptile) fool
Crocodile x fem reader. Crocodile isn't happy that this is an x reader because he's a control freak. 821 words.
You’re a hard worker, a competent worker, and a loyal worker. Those are facts, viable facts that could be proven in the fact that you work just as hard now as you do in Alabasta despite having less incentive to; despite having the opportunity to leave him when he was in Impel Down. It’s why he’s so in denial about these unwanted feelings at first, then angry that he has them. Things are already so hectic, he doesn’t need anything else to be out of his control.
• It started with your smile, as cliche as it is, the one you wore even though work can be anything but fun.
• He found it irritating at first, work is something to be taken seriously, but came to appreciate it.
• First because it meant you enjoyed your job well enough, something he likes since it means more loyalty.
• Now that he'a formed Cross Guild, it's because it brightens his own day; and to the point where now it’s like some sort of drug.
• One where if he doesn’t get it he gets on edge, making work even duller.
• It’s embarrassing, a fully grown old man like him getting cranky because doesn’t get a smile from a pretty girl he likes. Pathetic.
• It ends up putting him in an even worse mood when he notices it.
• Another thing that annoys him is how much he likes your voice.
• You’ve even started having to repeat things to him because he was too focused on how nice it sounds and feels to hear you talk to him.
• He wouldn’t be surprised if you thought he’d gone senile at this point…
• Thankfully you don’t show it if you do feel that way.
• Something he does wish you’d show is distaste for when any of the other men talk to you.
• He knows it’s mostly good work ethic communicating with them well, it helps now that you’re allied with other people, but sometimes he wishes you’d sneer at Mihawk or scoff at Buggy rudely.
• Show that you dislike talking to them, hate talking to anyone that isn’t him.
• There are the childish thoughts again…
• He’s 46 for gods’ sake, someone who’s killed both with his own hands and from his indirect actions.
• Not some schoolboy getting fussy that his crush is talking to someone else.
• Maybe feelings like “fussy” would be better though, would be safer for you; because they’re not always so childish.
• He wants you all to himself, you’re his anyway.
• You worked with him in Alabasta, waited for him while he was in Impel down, and work with him again in Cross Guild even if the work is more taxing; and less rewarding.
• You stayed with him, so loyal for him, so it makes sense that you’re his
• He wants to shower you with things you’d like, not just to dress his pretty girl up, but to guilt you into staying with him.
• To give him more of an excuse to be protective over you than just having feelings.
• What a terrible thing to think, but he’s never been a morally correct person.
• Either way, it’s not like he could actually do anything to hurt you.
• He’s tried, you can become a serious weakness for him.
• But everytime he tries there’s always an excuse.
• “She’s too useful.” “She’s a good worker.” “l still need her for this.” “It’d be a hassle.” “She makes my work easier.” “I’ll do it once I get my power back.”
• Though those are viable reasons that stop him, they aren’t truly the core reason.
• The reason is because he loves you, and it drives him mad.
• As mad as when you smile for others, or your hands brush together, or you call his name while looking up at him with those pretty eyes he wants looking nowhere else.
• You’re so beautiful, he loves you.
• He wishes that the feelings would just go away with time, with the fatigue he gets from working days straight.
• But they don’t, and they only get stronger.
• Especially when you do things to make even the smallest things easier.
• Making sure his cigar drawer is always full, bringing him water, telling him the time when he loses track of it.
• When he notices you telling him the time while looking sleepy yourself, he almost grabs you to pull you into his lap.
• Hold you, cage you into his arms and give you a kiss with all the emotion he’s been building up.
• But he can’t lose control, so he doesn’t.
• He just sends you off with a “Thanks, get some sleep yourself before you pass out on the job.”
• Once you turn, you can’t see the way his eyes follow you with a warmth he didn’t even know he had.
• And once the door is closed behind you, you don’t see the way he puts his head in his hands with a “Fuck.”

Vil Schoenheit As Your Boyfriend
Tumblr media
↠ When you started dating Vil, everyone's treatment of you is bound to change. You're now treated as a celebrity as well, and Cater hounds you for pictures.
↠Vil already knew you would get popular on dating him, and helps set clear boundaries so people don't overstep their familiarity with you or use you in any way to get closer to Vil.
↠Don't worry, Vil, being the perfect embodiment of the Evil Queen's spirit of tenacity, will be there at your side. Someone asks for too many selfies from you? Someone's getting too close for comfort? He'll be at your side in an instant and tell the person rude enough to disturb his partner to get lost in an instant.
↠Vil's love language [giving] is quality time and acts of service. He loves spending time with his partner, making memories that are bound to last a lifetime. He has a busy schedule? Don't worry, he'll still take some time off to see you. If he's too busy, he might ask you to come help him with work or atleast join him for a meal. He's attached to you too much, don't blame him. He will make time for you no matter how busy he is. You are his first priority [mostly]. Vil loves providing for his partner with acts of service. Expect the spa treatment whenever Vil gets his hands on you and a nice, relaxing movie date while you snuggle together with hot chocolate in your matching cups. (<3)
↠Vil's love languages [receiving] are words of affirmation and acts of service. The queen loves being told of his beauty, not just from his followers and admirers, but especially from you. The words you give Vil are so much more precious to his heart than any other, so be sure to praise him and do his hair for him gently (don't worry, he'll teach you how if you don't know) while letting him know how well he's done, how proud you are of him. Even if you just bring him a simple lunch or drink after he's had a long day, the queen of Pomefiore will become eager to wrap you in his affection, wishing to shower you with kisses and hugs.
↠Vil will definitely take you to meet his dad during the dating period. Vil's dad is really chill and supportive. He's glad Vil found someone he can share his life with, and only wishes the best for you two. He sees you as another child, and takes you and Vil out for fun family outings whenever your schedules manage to match.
↠Vil isn't averse to cuddling, he mostly prefers cuddling at night because during the day, it might give his clothes wrinkles or make his hair messy, which is not something he prefers. Of course, if you're going through a rough spot, morals be damned, he'll cuddle you for hours if needed, get Rook to prepare you a bath and your favourite drink, and massage you himself as you tell him what happened.
↠Vil is not very jealous as a partner. He's very self assured but if he spots you getting too physically friendly with someone (or if he sees you with Neige), he'll immediately intervene with a professional smile, pull you towards him and change the subject if necessary. Later, he'll sulk about it and demand for kisses.
↠Vil will hug his phone like a highschool girl after mushy, fluffy texts. He also has a tendency to scream like a highschool girl in private if you agree for a date or if he's super happy that you planned something together. Bless Rook's ears, he's always listening.
↠ Vil's kisses are usually slow and gentle, the type that leave you with a lingering feeling of euphoria long after the kiss has been broken. His lips are always soft and hued with lipstick, which you might have to fix for him if it gets smudged after a kiss.
↠Vil's hugs are long-lasting in private, he loves embracing you and feeling you in his arms, as you relax together. In public, he refrains from anything more than holding hands or cheek kisses.
↠Epel is now your and Vil's gremlin child who will constantly seek your protection when Vil is out for his blood. Good luck.

Hihi! I saw you had some request open and I wish to put one in!
In this one, can I request undertale bros, underfell bros, and horrortale bros?
They are with reader, who is there girlfriend/boyfriend and they go to a restaurant. Reader will tell the waitress to hold somthing from their dish. Like tomato's since they are allergic.
How will the boys act if they dident do that and they still served reader with the tomatoe or what every you chose for them to be allergic to.
If this goes aginst you're rules, I am sorry!
I hope you stay safe IRL!
i'm sorry i just wrote for the Sanses anon, i'm just trying to get anything written
-not proofread
Undertale, Underfell, and Horrortale Sanses when reader receives food they’re allergic to
UT!Sans
He's polite about it. he won't be rude to someone over what seems to be an honest mistake.
he doesn't notice what's wrong at first, so he doesn't call it out when the waiter first gives the food to you.
it's not until he notices you eating around certain parts, or not eating entirely that he asks you what's wrong.
when you tell him that you received [x] food, it goes one of two ways.
either the waiter is diligent, and is back to check on everything about ten minutes later, Sans tells them what's wrong, and the waiter, apologetic, takes back the messed up dish and brings another one out correctly.
or, the waiter is rude. they don't come back to check on your table, and he has to flag them down next time they pass.
"I'm sorry, I believe they ordered this without [x]. could we get this taken back?"
they don't verbally respond, but take the food back, and bring you back the correct dish.
UF!Sans
unlike UT, my boy noticed immediately, as he always looks over both yours and his meals because he looks for ANY chance to complain.
before your waiter leaves, he says bluntly, "they ordered this without [x]."
he WILL get into a full on argument, no matter whether or not the waiter was nice about it.
if they're nice, they give in, and you also get a free dessert!
however, if they're rude, it escalates and their manager is called, resulting in Sans getting banned from the restaurant for the scene he caused. sorry :/
HT!Sans
he doesn't necessarily understand allergies, i think. both from the fact that, where he comes from, you eat what you can get, and that his head injury sooooorta messes up his ability to comprehend it, almost.
although he does notice immediately, because you aren't eating, and he's worried.
it takes a good deal of explaining before he really gets why you can't eat it.
at first, he goes to get up and go straight to the kitchen, your plate in hand, to fix it. you have to get up and drag him by the wrist back to his seat to explain that it simply isn't acceptable.
so, he waits until the next time your waiter passes by. he acts like it was personal, and he goes into argument mode. unless they're nice, and the issue is immediately resolved.
or, they're rude, and let it escalate. it's certainly not nearly as much of a scene as UF's. though the manager is still called, and they resolve the issue.

XII. THEN WE’LL TALK
Word count: 1.3k
All Eyes on Me masterlist
Y/N, Lizzie called me crying. You need to talk to her.
It's been two weeks. You haven't streamed, you haven't gone out. What have you been doing?
I let out a deep sigh, rolling the blunt between my fingers, Brie's voice echoing in my head. Lizzie missed me. She needed me, but I was a coward and only knew how to run from people when things got complicated.
I sniffled, swallowing roughly as I thought about the woman I had walked away from completely for her own good. Without me in her life she could be happy with her husband without the fear and doubt of an affair hanging over their heads. Maybe she hadn't done anything wrong, but she could've. I definitely would've given the chance, but I would have regretted it. Just like I regretted everything I did.
I slammed my hand down on the cold tile in frustration and leaned my head against the sink, my mind racing as it had been for two whole weeks. The weed helped silence it for a while, but the more I replayed Brie's messages in my head, the louder my thoughts got about Lizzie.
Had I been wrong to walk away? We didn't do anything wrong. Not really.
I picked my phone up off the floor and unlocked it, browsing Twitter to get my mind off of literally everything.
CELEBRITY SIGHTING:
Elizabeth Olsen and Robbie Arnett were seen out and about in LA this week.
She looked good in the picture; happy, healthy, but then again, she was a good actress. They probably went out together on purpose considering it had been a while since they had been out in public with each other. Her last two sets of paparazzi photos were with me.
I licked my dry lips, quickly tweeting out that I was sorry for disappearing, but I was fine and streams would start up again soon. Almost instantly, comments flooded in wishing me well and hoping that everything was okay. I couldn't reply to everyone, so I just liked the kind comments and ignored the ones that were rude or mentioned Lizzie. Nobody needed to know my fucking business. I was still a person, I deserved my privacy despite what the world thought. And so did she.
The last two weeks had been hell between ignoring Lizzie's calls and texts and dealing with Brie and Claire trying to talk some sense into me. I knew they were right, that it was just gossip and Robbie would get over it, but the risk of her marriage ending because I had feelings for her was too much for me to ignore. Maybe she liked me too, or maybe she was just a flirty person - who knew, but what I did know was that I wasn't going to be the reason her marriage ended.
But, their marriage hadn't ended. According to Twitter, they were a happy couple and nothing was wrong between them. Which was good! So, why wasn't I happy about it?
At the moment, I wasn't happy about fucking anything. The only thing that could make me happy was Lizzie, and I let her go.
I brought the blunt up to my lips and inhaled deeply, wanting nothing more than to just forget for a little while. I kept the smoke in my mouth for a moment before exhaling.
Why was I making such a big deal about this? She barely knew me. I barely knew her. It was for the best that I ended our friendship before it became something more.
My phone rang, nearly making me jump out of my skin, and I peeked to check who it was. Brie. I took another toke and answered.
"Hello?" I said, my voice straining from holding in the smoke.
"Y/N? What the hell are you doing?"
"Smoking. Why?"
"Why aren't you speaking to Lizzie? Ignoring her like this isn't going to help the situation any."
"I'm making it go away."
"No, you're making yourself look like a child."
"Whatever, Brie." I released the smoke from my mouth. "What do you care anyway?"
"Oh, so on top of being a child, you're also gonna act like a bitch?"
"Oh, fuck you, man."
"Fuck me? After everything I've gone through trying to help you get the girl, you're gonna say 'fuck me'?"
"I didn't ask for any of this!"
"No, you didn't, but it all happened and you're in it now, so put on your big girl panties and deal with it."
"I don't want to. I don't want Elizabeth."
I lied.
"Then what do you want Y/N?" She asked with frustration in her voice.
"You."
She was quiet on the line and I knew I fucked up. I grimaced, leaning my face against my propped up knees. Why did I have to open my mouth and say stupid shit?
"You don't mean that." She sounded sad. "You're just hurting."
"I can be friends with Lizzie again if I'm with you." Why was I still speaking? "If Robbie sees I'm with someone, he'll leave her alone about her having an affair."
"Are you trying to use me to get back in Lizzie's good graces?"
"No! I-I'm just trying to fix this and make everyone happy."
"You being with me out of pity or ... whatever this is, will not make anyone happy."
"It's not pity, Brie. I like you."
"You like me. You love her."
"I love the idea of her! I don't know her and she doesn't know me! I know you. I know we can make each other happy. Please, Brie."
"We'll talk about this when you're sober."
"No, I want to talk about it now."
"Talk to Lizzie. Make up with her."
"If I do that, then will you be my girlfriend?"
"No."
"No?" Tears welled up in my eyes. First Lizzie, now Brie.
"You don't mean it. Prove that you mean it and I might change my mind. Until then, no."
It was wrong for me to use Brie to get over Lizzie, but it was true, I did like her ... just not the same way I liked Lizzie. I knew this was the only way I would be able to get close to Lizzie again. I had to be with someone, prove that I'm not a threat, stop acting the way I've been acting towards her. I needed someone.
"Go on a date with me. Let me give you a kiss goodnight. Let's watch the stars and pick one as ours. Let me treat you the way you deserve to be treated."
She didn't speak for a while and I thought for a moment that she had hung up on me.
"I'm not her."
I sighed.
"I know. I know who you are."
"I'll let you kiss me, but forget all that romantic shit."
"Okay, fine, no romance. Just us."
"So, you want to be friends with benefits?"
"No! No. I just ..." I rubbed my hand over my face. "I don't know what I want."
"That's the problem, Y/N. Make up with Lizzie. Then we'll talk."
"Brie -"
She hung up on me. I kicked the hamper in next to me in pure rage, knowing that I just fucked up another friendship. Either that, or Brie and I would be a different type of friend after this.
I put the joint out on my floor, smashing it into the tile and leaning my head into my hands, frustration seeping from every inch of my body.
Hot tears spilled from my eyes as I thought about Lizzie, as I thought about Brie, as I thought about the hole I kept digging for myself. Did I like Brie enough to be with her despite possibly having a connection with Lizzie?
The answer was ... yeah. I could be with Brie. Would I do it, though? Could I do it for Lizzie?
Was it fair to Brie? No, but we'd both get what we wanted. Wasn't that all that mattered?

Tumblr media
22nd of December. It was almost Christmas, and Camp Half-Blood was in a fuss between Christmas decorations, some of the campers packing to go back to their families the day after for the Holiday, and the preparations for the 24th and 25th for the other campers who would stay, everyone had something to do and somewhere to be, not leaving a lot of free time to wish everyone goodbye and a Merry Christmas.
Here came the Hermes Cabin, as always, to 'save the day' - as said by its residents. They decided to host a karaoke night on the 22nd as a sort of pre-Christmas celebration, so everyone could also enjoy it with their friends who would go away the next day.
Of course, everyone was invited - although it was still a mystery how the Hermes Cabin was always capable of pulling out all these big parties without getting in trouble - but you were still debating on whether to go or not, not being the most social type, and definitely not very inclined to be singing, but after contemplating for some minutes, you decided to cave in and go. Most of your half-brothers and sisters wouldn't be there, but, after all, Connor did ask you personally to come, saying that 'you would really do him a favour' because 'everyone was just so boring and no fun to be around', and you just couldn't say no to him, you were, besides, quite fond of both him and his brother and it would be rude to just not go.
I mean, you wouldn't have to sing anyways if you didn't want to, right? You could just go, have fun with your friends, have a few drinks, watch other people sing and, most importantly, spend a bit of time with Connor before you went back home to your family for the holiday's.
Well, you were wrong. Almost everything was going perfectly. You arrived at the cabin, said hello to some of your friends, poured yourself a drink, and then, as planned, you went to search for Connor, who you found in a corner next to his brother, who scattered away (not without tripping at least a few times) almost immediately after greeting you with a quick "Oh hello there, how are you? Everything okay? Hope you're enjoying yourself. Oh, just a minute, will you? I think someone's calling me - and then turning to his brother - catch you later, Con."
And that left just you and Connor alone, in an awkward silence. Although you were usually so talkative with him, it really wasn't so hard to open up when he was around. He always let you feel so comfortable without even trying, you guessed it was in his demeanour, the way he walked, the way he acted, you didn't know exactly, but he definitely wasn't much of an awkward person as you were, quite confident of himself, but quieter than his brother, calmer, which made him more likable in your opinion. He was fun to be around, very animated, but when needed, he could also be very sensible and almost a shoulder to cry on. He was just so.. warm, almost like the sun, or an oven! You weren't sure how to put it, but he did really remind you of freshly baked cookies, who were still warm ones out of the oven, but that you had to wait for to cool down before eating, otherwise it would be 'bad' for your stomach (at least according to your dad).
But maybe it was something in the air that night, the music was really loud and you already could barely hear yourself over the others singing, maybe it was Travis' abrupt disappearance, but neither of you said a word, not even a 'hello' or a 'how are you?' After some seconds, what must have felt like minutes, you decided to be the first one to break the silence, then you saw that he too wanted to say something, and opting to let him take the word instead, you leaned in to hear him better. But just then, some of your other friends called you, wanting you to come sing with them and even after making it pretty clear that you had no intention whatsoever of participating, they still dragged you out to the karaoke section, pretty much forcing you to sing at this point. Maybe you were exaggerating - well, you were definitely exaggerating - but at that moment, it felt like being processed to death, tragically waiting for a guillotine to cut your head off.
You didn't know how it happened, but you ended up having to sing a duet with some Apollo boy you didn't even know well, although quite cute in your opinion, you couldn't even seem to recall his name.
Not quite as bad as you thought it would be, the song went by really fast, and you could even say you had fun. After chatting a bit with the Apollo kid, finally remembering his name, and him suggesting to spend more time together once in a while, having enjoyed himself, you bid goodbye and immediately went back to find Connor, still a bit embarrassed by the public scene, which you still wished to have avoided.
Though, not being able to find Connor anywhere, you decided to ask his brother if he had seen him.
"Connor? I think I saw him going outside just a few minutes ago. If you see him, tell him to come inside quickly, will you? It's like freezing out there, and I don't even think he took his coat with him"
You thanked Travis, grabbed Connor's coat, which he left in the cabin (by demand of his older brother), and went outside as well, hoping to catch up with the latter, wherever he went to.
Travis was right. It was indeed freezing, and in the time you spent in the Hermes Cabin, it also had begun to snow. Realising this, your heart couldn't help but to warm up a little. You absolutely loved snow, especially in this time of the year, only adding more to the Christmas spirit already strong around the Camp.
You eventually found Connor after a while near the beach, the sand now mixing with the snow that was falling, secretly thanking the Gods that he didn't go into the forest or it would've been probably impossible to find him.
He was sitting on a random trench, with his back to you, looking out in the distance, to the stars or the sea you didn't know which, still not having noticed your presence behind him.
So, you carefully went up to him, anxious of approaching, like reaching out for a baby deer who would otherwise get scared if you were too loud. Not only that, but you were also anxious about what to say. He looked upset, and you didn't know why. For how much you tried, you just couldn't think of what could've made him so distressed. Was it something you said? Well, you didn't exactly say anything... was that it? Did he expect you to have said something? Had he wanted to tell you something before you were dragged away by your friends? Maybe it was just the change in the weather that affected him so much. It was always pretty warm at Camp anyway. Maybe it was something that had been going on all day, and you just didn't know. You only first saw him this evening, and he already looked pretty off.
Whatever it could've been, you decided to just go and rip the band-aid off. You would've to ask him directly what was wrong, so you could try and help and comfort him.
You were now not even a few steps behind him, but he was still oblivious of you being there (sometimes you asked yourself how he was still alive with how bad his hearing and reflexes were), so you extended your hand towards him, the one with which you were holding his coat, and poked him on his shoulder, finally capturing his attention.
'Here, put it on, your brother is going to kill us both if you don't', you said, referring to the jacket, trying to relieve some of the tension around the air.
He didn't protest and grabbed the jacket, but he still didn't say anything and turned away immediately, his face impassable.
You set next to him, and for a while, just looked at him, not saying anything. Anxiety filled your stomach up to the point you thought you were going to feel sick. He didn't look only upset anymore but actually mad. Angry. And you were so scared it had to do with something you did. In the fraction of time you used to contemplate on what to say and how to start the conversation you were clearly about to have, he beat you to it and started first.
'Well, thanks for the coat. You can go back now if you'd like', he said, irritated, not once looking at your direction but keeping his eyes fixed on a vanishing point which you still couldn't figure out.
'Is something wrong? You know if something happened you can just tell me, I'm here to help you you know. Just.. please, I don't like to see you like this. You know if it's something I did, I'm sorry, I didn't realise. But just tell me, okay? I'm so sorry if I hurt you in any way.' You were desperate at this point, just hoping this would end soon. You'd never seen Connor this upset, and it quite frankly scared you a bit.
But just then, his gaze softened. He just couldn't stay mad at you, not like this, not seeing how much stress this caused you. He wasn't even mad at you. He could never be mad at you, not even if his life depended on it, he thought.
'No, I'm sorry, okay. Really. Just forget about it, I'm overreacting. It's nothing'. Although his voice was sincere, he felt like he needed to say more than that, much more, if he wanted to make it better. 'Look.. it's just that.. well. Just give me a moment, will you? I need to think of how to say this right.' It was now his turn to feel anxious, and he started picking at everything he could find to keep calm. His nails, the wood on the trench you two were sitting on, the zipper of his jacket, and so on.
You weren't doing much better, shaking your legs up and down, picking at the skin of your lips, and basically dying of anxiety. If you were exaggerating before, now you definitely weren't. You would've preferred the guillotine over this at any moment.
'Yes, of course, take all the time that you need. I'm here for you.'
And after that, it fell silent. The only sound you could hear were the waves of the sea and the snow falling on the both of you, and in the distance, a bit of the long forgotten party going on in the Hermes Cabin. You were now only waiting for Connor to start speaking. You wanted to say patiently, but it was eating you up inside.
A few minutes went by, and you couldn't take it anymore. You were about to say something before he beat you to it again.
'Okay, so this isn't going to be easy to say, but I want you to listen to me until I'm done. Please. I know I'm not the best speaker in the world, and I really did want to make this more worthy of you, more meaningful, but I'm probably gonna mess things up, so I'm sorry in advance, but just try and listen, okay?' He began, carefully, and you just nodded, following his instruction and waiting for him to continue.
'Okay so, well, I thought this was honestly kind of obvious already - he said this with a smile - but I really like you, and I mean really, since at least a few years I think already. And seeing you with that Apollo kid, I don't know it just made me mad, I thought I couldn't stand a chance against someone like that, so much more talented and what not than me. And not only him, I mean everyone. You're just so perfect in every sense, and I know you could do so much better than me, so I got a bit self-conscious, but that's it. I'm so sorry for worrying you. It really wasn't my intention to be such a dick, but my emotions got the better of me.'
You were left speechless. You really didn't know what to say. Not even a sound could come out of your mouth at that point. Luckily, it didn't have to because Connor went on before you could even think of anything to say.
'No, wait, don't say anything yet. I'm not finished. I want to say it better. This is definitely not how I imagined this. You know I made up so many speeches in my head, practising on what I would tell you if ever came the right moment. But I forgot all of them now, so I'll just have to figure something out,
'I am every second more infatuated by your presence, by your kindness, your beauty. You leave me without breath every time that I see you, and every time, just a bit more than the day before. Every time I look up at the stars, I'm reminded of you, perplexed on how the Gods didn't take you as the inspiration of such creations. Every time I look up at the moon, I can't think of anything else other than how your beauty surpasses even hers, how the reflection of the moonlight on the water isn't just an allegory of you. Because it's something so beautiful that you just can't take your eyes off it. How honey isn't scraped directly from your voice because it's even more sweet and warm than a cup of tea. You fill me with joy of which I've never experienced before, which I didn't even know was real. I'm at every second more and more confused on how all of nature doesn't revolve around you, on how it wasn't created for you and because of you, for at every thing I look at I am every constant reminded of you. If I ever was to meet Aphrodite, I know she would take your appearance and, although I can't dare say you are more beautiful than her or you know what would happen, I can say that in this world and all the universe you are one of the Gods' most beautiful creations. That if it weren't for Prometheus, I would steal the fire just for you, and you only, to keep you warm from days like this one. To keep you warm like you do constantly to me, by just your mere presence, by just an insignificant conversation you could have with me, which I hold dear forever and never forget. What I'm trying to say is that I don't only like you, no... no. I would hold up the sky full of stars and galaxies for you, I would go up to the moon to retrieve your lost items for you, even just to see your smile, to see you happy, to know that you are content. For you have already stolen my soul and hold my heart, I couldn't sell it to the devil, but I would, just to let him promise me to always keep you safe, that nothing could ever touch or hurt you. For you only I think and plan, for you only I ever want to live on. I love you, I really do, and I only hope for you to love me back at your own pace and time. But I could never force you to do anything. If you don't reciprocate my feelings, let's forget about this. Just go on with our daily lives. A simple no, or just a shake of your head, will silence me forever, I won't ever bother you again, I promise. But if there's even just one chance, a little bit of hope that you could give me a try, please don't let me wait for too long. Because how I am to take even one second longer of this I do not know.'
And with this, he stopped talking. He went completely mute, now only waiting for your answer, for a little hope.
But you didn't know what to say, how could after such a speech, such a confession? Anything you would say, even if meaningful, would never compete to something such beautiful and utterly captivating as this.
So you opted for saying exactly that.
'Connor.. I.. I'm really speechless, I don't know what to say, no, everything I would say could never compete with what you just did. I'm so sorry, but I really don't know how to own up to that.' You said with the biggest smile you ever had, which started growing since Connor began to speak.
'No, don't worry about that, just tell me, please. A yes or a no would be sufficient enough.' The poor boy was so stressed, but you couldn't help but laugh. It wasn't you mocking him or anything like that. It was a genuinely happy laugh, like you've never had before. He also started laughing at this, being influenced by you.
'Stop laughing, I'm serious. You're making me sweat cold here.' He said, finally lighting up from his serious stance.
'I'm so sorry, but I just really can't see how you could've become this worked up only because I was singing Last Christmas with some guy. Like, really, from all the songs Last Christmas, that's not even classifiable as a real love song.' At this point, you just couldn't stop laughing, completely captivated, almost not being able to breathe anymore.
'Hey! That's not true. It's one of the greatest love songs ever written. And I'm honestly quite offended you didn't sing it with me, okay. You know how much I love Wham!' Saying this, he also kicked your leg playfully. Finally, the mood was completely lightened up. Now, the interaction being like one of the many you had every day.
'Okay, now on a serious note', you began, and you could see Connor tensing up again, 'yes. And a million times, yes. I really like you, Connor, and I've had probably since I came to this camp. I could even say that I love you too.. but maybe for that, I do need a bit of time. But I do want to give it a try, and more than one if need to. Just don't make anything like that up anymore. Otherwise, I'd just look like a bad girlfriend, okay? I can't even come up with a good speech to convince my dad to let me adopt a cat, even think of confessing my undying love for you. I just think I need a little bit more time than you, but I'll get there eventually, I promise. Just wait until you'll get a Jane Austen type letter under your pillow.' You finally said, as sincere as you could. You were truly so happy, and you think you've never been this happy ever in your life (at least not until your dad would finally cave in and let you get a cat).
Connor, too, was happy. Oh, so happy, he thought he could break out in some type of dance right there and walk up to the sky to get a handful of stars to gift to you. But that was impossible, so he opted to wrap an arm around you and let you rest your head on his shoulder.
And like that, you stayed for a while, just you two together under the snow looking up at the stars and into the horizon.
'Don't worry, if we ever move in together, we're gonna adopt not one cat, but at least twenty, be sure of that.' He said.

Even without his request for the Zoroark to turn into Emmet, Ingo is a friendly, open and kind person... Even without his memories he still has a very open, positive and respectful attitude towards Pokemon. Given how many Pokemon are feared across Hisui, I think especially Zorua and Zoroark face a lot of negativity when encountered, I feel like having suddenly someone treating the Pokemon kindly and friendly is weird at first but definitely welcoming. It probably didn't even took that long for the Zoroark and Ingo starting to have conversations. (in my thoughts it likely started with demands of certain types of food and evolved from there) And the more they warm up to each other the more they appreciate each others company, making the Zoroark less bitter and lonely and Ingo gets a sense of familiarity and comfort seeing Emmet again, as well as helping another lonely soul.
It makes me wonder if the Zoroark ever makes the connection that the person he reflects back to him isn't just a weird mirror version of Ingo but a person very near and dear to him. What I do think is that they indeed form a very close friendship that in a few ways mirrors the brotherly bond Ingo and the actual Emmet had.
(you might think that no one remembers him but I do, I loved the comic you first created way back when so much that I also made a lengthy ask a while back wishing to see more of it, I was very thankful and grateful back then and I'm very much looking forward to see the new one done soon! Take all the time you need though! Good things need their time! Thank you!)

reassurance
- ingo realizes that maybe continuously bothering someone to talk with you until they fold might’ve been rude 💀 but zoroark is too chill (and lonely) to really mind sksk
- though a few form packs, hisuian zoroarks tend to live and hunt alone
- ingo gets most of the gifts he brings from the pearl clan or jubilife village since the foods zoroark requests are fancier than what he usually eats
- melli notices when ingo leaves for his visits

TELL ME ABOUT THE TALENTSWAP AU NOW!!!
OKAY, I'M SO GLAD SOMEONE FINALLY ASKED ME ABOUT THIS.
So, this Talentswap AU, it's like the average killing game
*Oh no, Celestia (the protag) got kidnapped and forced in a killing game with 15 other students. She finds Kiyo (the support), and they have to escape, waaaah*
To be honest, what inspired me to make this are Danganronpa V3 (I like how they have features like Scrum Debates, Argument Aranments, and Mass Panic Debates), and the Danganronpa: Another series
So, yeah, everyone's talents are swapped. If you click on the "Danganronpa: A Dice of Despair" tag, you can see everyone's designs and talents. So, what I mainly want to talk about are the characters, their talents, and their personalities, backstories, etc.
There will be a LOT of yapping below, so keep reading if you wanna
‼️‼️TRIGGER WARNING FOR MAJOR SPOILERS IN DANGANRONPA, DARK IMPLICATIONS, AND PERSONAL/SENSITIVE TOPICS‼️‼️
Celestia Ludenberg - Ultimate Lucky Student: So, in this AU, Celestia is the protagonist. She has a mix of her and Makoto's personalities. She can be cold and a douche at times, but she does care about everyone. Here, she has a mix of good luck and bad luck, but they both work at the same time... Somehow? Her real name is still Taeko Yasuhiro, and she made up her fake name to hide who she really is since her family has very dark secrets that could easily crumple her reputation if spilled. Hence why she also doesn't believe that she's really the Ultimate Lucky Student.
Korekiyo Shinguji - Ultimate Swordsman: Here, Kiyo is the support/deuteragonist. Celestia runs into him after escaping into the gym. In this AU, he's aloof, smart, but also starts showing kindness after a while. In Chapter One, he's the one to snap Celestia back to reality after she has her initial panic. He can come off as a bit hostile, but that's because growing up, he didn't have many friends as he spent most of his time training since his family are mostly famous warriors.
Sayaka Maizono - Ultimate Gambler: In this AU, she's more of an anti-hero then an antagonist. She's pretty rude and demanding, and she uses Kiibo to her advantage since he's the Ultimate Butler, and growing up, she had many butlers and maids to her aid whenever she needed them. Eventually, in Chapter Two, Sayaka starts to see that Celestia isn't a bad person, and starts to open up to her. Sayaka's cruel and sadistic personality stems from her childhood where her mother was killed by being burned, and her father basically abandoned her, so Celestia's really the only person she likes. Also, she ALWAYS wins every gambling match (Always? ALWAYS.) As well, she's a bit narcissistic, and thinks she's above everyone.
Byakuya Togami - Ultimate Gamer: Here, Byakuya is more of like an AI (like Chiaki), because his father wanted an heir, and none of his kids were "fit for it". So, Mr. Togami got a friend to create Byakuya. Though, Byakuya was never interested in the Togami Corporation, and took an interest in video games instead. He's a bit insensitive, but does mean well. He doesn't express much emotion, but is protective of the people he cares about, and he has a deep sense of justice. He knows his father doesn't love him, but as long as he has video games, he'll be happy.
Chiaki Nanami - Ultimate Pop Sensation: In this AU, Chiaki is a human. She's a lot more energetic then her game counterpart, and is like who she was in Danganronpa 3. Ever since she was a little girl, Chiaki had dreamed of being a famous star, despite her parents' wishes. She loves to write songs and sing with her group, even though after Chiaki gets trapped in the killing game, her girl group gets killed by the Ultimate Despair, which sends Chiaki into despair, though she masks it well. She'll write a song for everyone in the place, and she'll sing it as loud as she can. She's a great friend to have, like a golden retriever!
Gundham Tanaka - Ultimate Traditional Dancer: So, growing up, Gundham's home life was pretty bad. His family was VERY strict on what he ate, what he wore, and what he said. His house was near a street, and every afternoon, he would sneak there and feed all the tabby cats, making him gain their trust, and making him feel a sense of comfort. He's kind of an asshole in the AU, since he had a bad home life, and it left a huge mark on how he viewed people. Unfortunately, he doesn't want to warm up to anyone, as he's secretly scared they'll just use him, so he closes himself off, and he only trusts the tabby cats.
Hajime Hinata - Ultimate Inventor: Hajime's mother was rarely in the picture, causing him to develop a very close relationship with his father. When his father got ill and passed when Hajime was ten, he found all his father's unfinished inventions. Determined to finish them, Hajime worked for hours, nights even, to make his father proud. Hajime gets his vulgarity and bluntness from the highschool he was at before Hope's Peak Academy, since the crude and rudeness was basically the norm at where he was. Also, yes, Hajime is Izuru in this AU, though I'm still trying to figure out how to write that.
Mahiru Koizumi - Ultimate Astronaut: She's the Antagonist of the AU, so I probably should have placed her up way higher, but I'm too tired to change it. So, Mahiru's mother was an astronaut, and Mahiru has always been intrigued by space. In the village she lived at, she would tell the younger kids stories about space and amazing astronauts, forming a close bond with them. Unfortunately, a few months before Hope's Peak, Mahiru's village was burned down, leaving Mahiru homeless. When she saw the advertisement for Hope's Peak, she took it in a heartbeat. She's kind, a little naive, and protective to make sure she can keep everyone as safe as she can.
Mikan Tsumiki - Ultimate Pianist: School was a very tough time for Mikan, as she was always the targeting of bullying, though she felt safe in her music class. After a very traumatic event, Mikan basically clung to her piano, playing it every day, as many times as she could. She's shy, but also very determined and kind, and she's quite skilled at the other instruments other then piano! Which she personally finds to be very cool!
Nagito Komaeda - Ultimate Anthropologist: Nagito's house was very close to a library, so every day, after school, he would stop by the library and find a book. The ones about culture and evolution were the ones that intrigued him the most. He spent most of his childhood in the hospital, so the library was like a safe space for him. He's also aloof, but somewhat disturbing and also mature. He has to keep a close eye on Hajime, so he's basically Hajime's babysitter (lol).
Sonia Nevermind - Ultimate Detective: Sonia was always very smart, even as a young child, so she didn't have very many friends as she got frustrated by people who weren't as smart. One day, the detectives brought her in to see if she could help them with a case, and she solved it, pretty quickly. She can solve cases quicker then the average detective can. She's pretty quiet most of the time, but she also has a strong sense of justice, is no-nonsense and quick, and she really doesn't have as much empathy as she probably should.
Kaede Akamatsu - Ultimate Princess: So, Kaede is the princess of Japan, so she also has to follow strict and unfair rules. She often but heads with her parents since she wants to actually be her own person and not follow their rules. Her parents had arranged a marriage for her, and when she found out about this, she quickly signed up for Hope's Peak to escape this. She's kind, charming, curious, and always willing to learn. She may not give the best advice, but she tries her best!
Shuichi Saihara - Ultimate Artist: Shuichi here seems like your average Joe. He doesn't really talk highly of himself, and he just does art as a hobby, so he wasn't really expecting it to become his actual talent, lol. Despite all of this, he's fairly nice and pretty chill, but can also be pretty morbid due to the fact he was born and raised in an unusual church. No, he isn't religious. Also, he loves art, but he doesn't draw eyes when he draws people, as he finds it difficult to do (this will come in handy later).
Kirumi Tojo - Ultimate Magician: Growing up, Kirumi always loved magic. She was a street magician for a while before being allowed to enter a school that allowed her to embrace her interests. She's kind, energetic, and kooky since she had been seen as a "weird kid" by most people growing up. Despite this, she's incredibly loyal to those around her, and she can be scarily serious when she needs to.
Kiibo (Idabashi) - Ultimate Butler: So, in this AU, Kiibo is also human, so I will refer to him as Kiibo Idabashi. He always loved helping people, despite what they asked him to do. His father, Professor Idabashi, spent a lot of time on robotic engineers, so that led Kiibo to wander off... a LOT. He always enjoys to serve people, and he enjoys Celestia's company. He doesn't like Sayaka much though, as she uses him. There are also times where he feels empty, like a robot. Though, he's hardworking, devoted, and can take on even the hardest of tasks.
Rantaro Amami - Ultimate Photographer: Rantaro still has twelve sisters in this AU, and they always loved for him to take pictures of them, to where they would even ask him daily to take pictures of scenery they liked and outfits they liked. Rantaro found himself enjoying photography, even in the darkest of times. At first, he's bossy and a bit stubborn, but he eventually learns to trust his classmates and even befriends most of them. After that, he's kind, still a little stubborn and bossy, but more willing to hear others out. Also, him and Korekiyo become quite close very quickly!
I'm SO sorry that I talked more about the characters and their backstories then their roles!! I'll make a relationship chart of them in a post eventually. Also, this took a long while and isn't my usual content, so my bad! Also, if you read all of this, thank you 💕

there is so much art reposting (and subsequent reposted art sharing) in this fandom. Is that a topic that fell off the face of the earth in the late 2010s and no one took the time to explain to you why and how you shouldn't do it?
First, reposting art means saving or copying the art to create a new post and/or putting it on another platform yourself. On tumblr, reblogging (the two arrows 🔄) is not reposting, as the original poster is still directly linked to it.
Reposting art without asking the artist's permission is rude more often than not. Many artists even have a "do not repost" warning on their page.
Why is this rude? There are a vast range of reasons, and the first one is always because the artist, a person, expressed a wish, and that's on you to respect it.
Other reasons include, for example, fanartists wanting to see the fandom's feedback and be inspired to continue to share (shaking hands with the fanfic writers), artists needing the word-of-mouth advertising as they depend on commissions and/or independent shops income for living, and just generally wanting to keep their own stuff close.
As fellow fans and/or art enjoyers, not having clear credit and link back to the artist is also sad and frustrating. What if we wanted to see more? What if there was a whole collection of similar things and we'll never know?
I know you want to share the cute art you saw elsewhere specifically because you liked it, and it comes from a place of love. I get that. You could share it with your friends behind closed door (ex: private discord server), or post a link to the art and the artist instead of posting the piece on its own.
On a case-by-case basis, you can ask an artist if you can repost their art. Some will allow it under certain conditions! Your responsibility is to respect their wishes. That is a person sharing their creation. Be nice.
"credit to the artist" is not credit.
"I don't know who made this, if anyone knows tell me" is not credit.
"this was from pinterest" is not credit. (<- pinterest is 90% repost, not a source at all)
Posting art that isn't yours is so rude and sharing reposted art just as much.
This is frustrating. Stop reposting art without asking, and especially stop reposting art without credit. And stop sharing reposted art where clear consent wasn't given by the original artist.

✺ it was innocent at first. he spotted you at the airport and quietly followed you all the way to your parked car. he asked for a ride to the front of the airport, to which you answered that you weren't a taxi cab, but did it anyway. he was handsome and seemed safe.
✺ what you didn't know was, your parking receipt had your full name on it from the credit card purchase. with that, he could easily find where resided. and he did once he got home.
✺ from then on, Jackson became utterly obsessed with you. he thought you were very attractive and had a wonderful personality- from the short period he was in the car with you. but he's learned so much about you just from watching you go in and out of your apartment. your MySpace also had a lot of valuable information on it.
✺ it was a common practice for Jackson to sit outside your apartment building in his basic, unassuming vehicle. sometimes you'd forget to close the blinds or have them up with the curtains open when you'd get undressed. so Jackson had a brilliant view of your body.
✺ Jackson wasn't normally the type to get off on seeing someone naked- he did get off on the fact you were naked and didn't know he could see you, though. so one day, he sneaks his hand into his pants. and after that, every time he'd come to "visit" you, he'd beat one off. it became a habit of sorts.
✺ the day you finally noticed him, six months had passed without issue for Jackson. but today, he fucked up. he could see you on your bed clearly through the window, and you were exploring yourself with your hands. it gave Jackson a very intense orgasm seeing you touch yourself; so intense that he fell asleep in the driver's seat.
✺ when he awoke, it was beginning to become daylight. he had slept all night. he realizes why he woke up very suddenly: there was someone knocking on the window. Jackson looks up, and it's you. he has to do a double-take before realizing his fly was still very much down.
✺ you start laughing at him, arms crossed as you shake your head. you had finally caught him red-handed. Jackson, very rudely but in an embarrassed fashion, asks why you're laughing. to which you answer, "now it's my turn to see you vulnerable." a haunted look crosses Jackson's face, how long had you known he was watching? he didn't even have to ask out loud before you say, "oh. I knew a month in. I know all my neighbors' cars and knew yours was no one of theirs. one night, I recognized you when some headlights flashed across your face."
✺ Jackson is shocked about you knowing and not caring that he'd been stalking you for months. a part of you knows it's wrong, but another part of you is flattered that someone would spend so much time watching everything you did. even more flattered at the fact Jackson was secretly too shy to ever say a word to your face and would rather be hunched in his car. it's even more attractive knowing what he was doing while hunched in the car.
✺ you invite him upstairs to shower and make him promise not to snoop while you are getting dressed for work. he honors your wishes and quickly showers as you're getting ready. before he dips, he leaves his number on your kitchen counter. he manages to sneak out before you're on your way to work. when you notice the number on the counter, you smile to yourself. hey, at least he didn't kill you, right?
✺ that night, Jackson isn't there for the first time in half a year, which makes you a little sad. but to your surprise, you come inside your apartment to flower pedals and candles everywhere. while Jackson was in your apartment that morning, he made a mold of your house key that hung from the hook by the front door. how romantic.

There he is. Jesse's boyfriend.
It's rude to think of him as just Jesse's boyfriend. He was his own person, after all; but Ellie has reason. She knew Jesse better than him, after all. Jesse was one of her best friends, despite being the main reason she couldn't act on her long-time crush for a good while.
He was admirable, a young patrol-leader, courageous and smart. Most of all, he was loyal. He even followed her to Seattle.
Oh, fucking Seattle.
He looks like him, in a way. Ellie doesn't want to be rude, but their hair...it's the same. It's coarse and greasy, but so is everyone else's. Commercial shampoo isn't a thing twenty years after the collapse of the world and "major capitalism" anyway, but that's not the point.
He does look different. His eyes, his nose, his face is different, his own. But his hair.
It's shorter down the sides, obviously to keep it out of the way, and yet pieces still remain in front, perhaps a fashion statement, a rare sight when survival calls for practicality; perhaps, instead, a simple inevitability. The back remains long, down, unlike Jesse's, past his shoulders, Ellie recalls he used to wear it up more often than down. Before he and Jesse got together, he wore it in neat braids. Afterward, they got messy—maybe tugging from heated sessions, maybe, more probably, Jesse tried braiding it for him.
"Your hair." Ellie finds herself saying, interrupting your words. She wasn't paying attention, it was rude of her, but she can't see anything else.
"My hair?" You look confused, taking a piece in your hand, but then, oh, your hair. "I haven't had time, since..."
Since Seattle, Ellie thinks, but Seattle isn't Seattle to you, it's Jesse's death.
"Right." Ellie leans back, to stand on her heels. Right.
"I've had to, you know, take over patrol organization a bit, plus, um, new duties, yeah?"
"Yeah." She says, again another short response.
Yeah. Jesse handled a lot of patrol organization, alongside Mary, who now has to help Tommy around because of his knee and all, meaning she needs more people to help her; and also Tommy's knee means he can't go on patrol anymore and...it's just such a mess. And since Ellie left too? And Dina's busy with JJ? Three—four people that can't patrol anymore.
I'm sorry, she thinks to say, but she can't.
"You put it up for patrols?" She asks. It's a stupid question, the answer is an obvious yes.
"Yea–" It's a short response, too, awkward. "I meant, I, uh, don't have the time to braid."
She knows it's not true. She knows you at least have time in the mornings, but then maybe you just don't because it reminds you of him. The way his hands felt in your hair, clumsy, sometimes the braids are too tight and awfully angled, or sometimes they're too loose, but it's Jesse, so who cares?
I'm sorry, is yet again on her tongue, but she can't.
"How's–" What was she going to say? What were you saying, before she'd mentioned your hair? Fuck, she doesn't know.
You speak up abruptly, eyes flitting down, then up, "It looks like his, doesn't it?"
"Yeah." She agrees. Just that. What else is there to say? Well, there is... "I'm sorry."
"I know, Ellie." You say. It's simple.
She said it to you once, at the funeral; again, at the wake. A third time last time she came by, a fourth the time after. This might be the fifth, but she can't account for times she's been drunk, or whatever the fuck she was dealing with fresh off the horse from Seattle.
"I–" She wishes to say it again, anyway. She wishes to say more. Jesse loved you. Jesse wouldn't want you to be sad. Jesse...
"I know." You know, of course, she's already told you all of that, you don't even need her to speak her mind to know it. "Listen, I have to..." You gesture vaguely that-a-way.
"Right. Yeah." Ellie nods her head, bounces back on the balls of her feet and backs off.
"I'll see you next time?" You offer, your hands meeting together, intertwining, fingers breaking then holding again; a teeter, a restless thing. Nervous, no, awkward.
"Yeah." Ellie nods her head.
You're off.
But she speaks again, stopping you. "Hey, um!" She clears her throat, her sudden impulsive thought catching up to her, but you've already turned around, and she must finish. "I'll braid your hair? Next time?"
You smile, huff out a breath through your nose, maybe it's amusement, pity towards Ellie's attempt at what, making up? Or maybe it's appreciation. "Yeah. Yeah, sure."

Alex's Guide to Being the Best Ever Client at a Hair Salon
Hi my name is Alex and I've been a hairdresser for about 6 years now. Obviously over that time I've come to learn what things clients do that make me very happy to see, so here's some tips on how to be the best ever client and make your hairdresser love you to pieces!
Also please note that this is coming from a relatively independent hair stylist. My salon does not have a receptionist or assistants, just the stylists. All tips should work across most salons though.
BOOKING AND CONSULTATIONS
When calling or otherwise directly messaging a salon or stylist to book an appointment, KNOW WHEN YOU WANT TO COME IN. If you need to check your schedule, do it before or have it open before you make the call. This will speed up the booking process exponentially!
DON'T BOOK A SMALLER COLOR RPOCESS JUST TO GET IN. If you're booking online, do not choose a color process with less time just to fit in to the stylist's schedule if you actually want a longer process. By this i mean not booking a partial highlight when you actually want a full. We will not be able to accommodate you, and will either have to leave you with the shorter process or reschedule you on another day when we would actually have the time to deliver what you want.
UNDERSTAND THEIR CANCELLATION POLICY. I know they can be annoying, but let me put it this way. When you are booking with a stylist, you're not booking a service, you're booking our TIME so we can provide the service you want. If you cancel last minute or no-show, you are costing us money that we could have made back by booking other clients. Especially on big ticket services that take hours. Cancellation policies allow us to y'know... still make rent.
YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT... BUT... Part of a stylist's job is to ask the right questions to figure out exactly what you want out of your color, style, or texture. If you don't know exactly what you want, BE READY TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND MAKE DECISIONS. We are trying to get on the same page as you so you will leave happy.
If you are coming in for a color that is more work than just an all over color or root touch up (aka single process), please do a tiny bit of research into what you'd like. You don't need to know EVERYTHING, but for reference showing a search for "BRUNETTE WITH HIGHLIGHTS" isn't going to narrow it down as much as a search for "DARK BRUNETTE WITH NATURAL WARM HIGHLIGHTS" would. A good stylist should be able to ask the right questions to get down to what you want, but this will make it much easier and quicker.
On that note, DEAR FUCKING LORD WE LOVE PICTURES, SHOW US PICTURES. BRING US YOUR PINTREST BOARD. SHOW US THAT TIKTOK YOU SAW. It's one sure fire way for us to physically see what you're talking about, and a good starting point to then ask qualifying questions with a reference! It doesn't mean we can 100% make it happen, but it helps us get on the same page you're on and see what you're looking to achieve.
Last but not least, research your stylists! Check what they specialize in, see if you can find any of their work posted online. Finding a stylist can sometimes be like finding a therapist, you have to find the one that's right for you (both in personality and technique). Don't feel bad about switching stylists; if your old one kicks a fuss they weren't the right one for you anyway. You deserve to be taken care of by a person you're comfortable with, and who delivers the service you want to your standards.
The hair industry is. Fucking huge. There's so many of us. You can literally call and book a consultation for a cut or color without getting it done that day. You can do that at 5 different salons before deciding. If they get weird about it just say you had a bad experience with an old stylist that you'd rather not get into. There is always options for another stylist.
BEST BEHAVIOR IN THE CHAIR
#1 thing i wish i could tell my clients without being rude: phone goes away for the haircut. Color is more lax, we don't always need your head in a specific position to apply it. Hair cutting completely relies on the position of the head, especially for the perimeter length of your hair. If you are looking down at your phone the whole time, the haircut will not come out as good. We also will be asking you to move to other positions, so we need at least some of your attention. It's also so we as hair stylists aren't having to contort our body into weirder shapes to cut your hair.
To piggyback off that, it's also because of the cape. Best client thing to do is once that cape is on you, make sure it's draped fully over the arms of the chair you're in. We'll take care of the back. The cape is there to protect you from getting hair or color on yourself, but it can't work unless you are completely covered by the cape. Including arms. (I'm looking at the fucking phone again >:( )
When you are in the sink, your nose should be pointing toward the ceiling while you are being washed. This allows us to not drench your face or neck when we are washing your hairline around your face. If your nose isn't pointing toward the ceiling, ask if you are able to readjust.
Best ever tip for in the sink: if the stylist is lifting your head up to rinse the nape of your neck, do not lift your whole neck. Crane your head forward while keeping the base of your neck secure to the sink. This will help you avoid getting water down your back. Your stylist might cup their hand at your nape, just lean back into it like you were a rag doll. We don't want to get you wet, but you gotta trust us with your head at the sink.
If you wanna get an A+ as a client, watch how they fix the chair at the sink for you to get in. The clients that put their own feet up or adjust themself to the right position (after an appointment or two with them) are my loves. my life. yes babe make yourself comfortable, you're doin my job for me.
If you are looking for extra styling past a blowdry (IE: curling iron or flat iron), let us know at the beginning of the service. This can take more time or is an extra charge, so letting us know in advance can allow us to communicate that to you or make sure we have the time to provide the service you want.
And probably my best tip/hack for all my introverted or neurodivergent people nervous about having to keep up small talk. Before or after the consultation, when they inevitably ask how you are or how your day has been, repeat after me: "I've had a really long day/week and I'm looking forward to closing my eyes, relaxing, and being pampered." This will signify that YOU DON'T WANT TO TALK other than what needs to be communicated. If they press, just say work or school has been really hard and stressing you out, so you booked this to relax and have some personal quiet time. Heavy on the relax people. Then just fuckin vibe bro.
If we ever give you our number to text, ask if we cant coffee. Ouughhghgh give us a coffe we love a fucking coffefee. Or ask your stylist what their favorite treat is. Just lil things like that. It's like an extra tip for us!
FINISHING AND PAYING
So your service is done! Make sure you check it out yourself and ask for any adjustments. Remember, you're the one leaving with your hair on your head, and will have to live with it until you return to the salon. If you need something fixed or adjusted, ask! A good stylist will prompt you.
Ask how tips are accepted. You can do it during the service or at checkout, but asking is always appreciated! Not all salons allow you to tip on card, but cash will never be turned away. Venmo is also extremely common.
I work in the USA where a 20% tip is the norm. If you can't afford that, don't worry. If you can't tip at all, don't worry. We don't know you financial situation, and we are in no place to judge that. You still deserve to get the service you want. More often than not if you talk to us about it, we will absolutely be sympathetic. If your stylist kicks a fuss about a tip they get (or don't get), drop them and find someone else.
That being said... yes we like it when you tip more than 20%. Of course we do, it's more money directly to us for doing our job. But I'll be honest with you, I will go out of my way for a kind client i get along with that tips 5% the same way I'll go out of my way for a difficult client who tips 100%.
If you like us, rebook! By having an appointment already in the system you're guaranteeing a time for you to get back in. And if you can't make it, you can cancel it or reschedule. It will help your stylist's rebooking data, which can help them within the salon depending how the business is set up. Sometimes stylists have to reach a certain percentage threshold of rebooking to move up a level of prices or get a higher percentage of commission.
Last but not least, if you're chatting with your stylist after the service, be aware of two things. 1) do they have their next client waiting for them? 2) are you their last client? If either of these are true, try not to linger. We hate having to do the "Well, I've gotta get to my next client/start cleaning up to go home." This can change as you form a deeper relationship with your stylist over the years (sometimes even a friendship!), but please remember that we are at our job.
As of right now that's all I can think of. If I come up with anything else I'll reblog and add on. And please feel free to shoot me an ask if you have a question I didn't answer here, or want to know more about something I mentioned.
But finally I will leave you with this.
Yes, the hair stylist is the expert in hair. Yes, we can give you advice about your style. But here's the thing. When you walk out of the salon door, we aren't the one's dealing with your hair day to day. Even if you don't think you know a lot about hair, YOU ARE THE EXPERT ON THE HAIR ON YOUR HEAD. YOU are the expert on what you do and don't want to look like. We're the tool to get it done. Remember that!

I very much like my headcanons of all the villain-turned-dream-friends still being very flawed people one way or another.
I'd say that they could all be considered morally grey to various degrees. Some may be nicer than others, but overall I wouldn't really call any of them saints. None of them are irredeemably evil, and Kirby is friends with every single one of them, but they're all still flawed. And Kirby is basically their 'parole officer' as he keeps them all in check.
This post got quite long as I wrote everything I wanted, so I'm gonna post a 'Keep reading tag' down below.
Feel free to click on it if you'd like to see my interpretations on the flaws of some Kirby characters! I'll be covering Marx, Dark Meta Knight, Daroach, Magolor, Taranza, Susie and the mage sisters here.
Marx may be on Kirby's good side now as he's not looking to attempt conquest on Popstar again, but he's still essentially an agent of chaos. He's loud, he's obnoxious, he's widely known to be a prankster, and he loves getting a rise out of people. He enjoys causing scenes purely for the sake of it. And his sense of humor isn't exactly good at having tact, as he'll make jokes out of things that most others wouldn't dare do. He can be considered the most insufferable one out of the bunch.
But there are good qualities to him, too. Some people legitimately think he's the funniest guy alive, so there's that. Marx loves attention in general, regardless if it's bad or good attention, and so he gets delighted if someone likes him and enjoys his antics. He loves it when people decide to join him on mischief. If you're his friend, he'll often give you stuff to laugh about and you're likely to find yourself having fun with him. If he likes you enough, he'll even stand up for you if someone else antagonizes you. His friends are literally his homies.
He's still quite the wild creature, though. It requires a lot of patience and a lax/chill attitude to be able to put up with Marx. It's not uncommon for him to find ways to instigate chaos in Star Allies gatherings. But he CAN be forced to behave, albeit not always easily. Kirby and Magolor are the ones that can most easily get him to listen.
Dark Meta Knight is still a standoffish jerk with a temperament. He's rude, brutal, and isn't at all afraid to say things that might run shivers down people's spines. He's prone to violence if he feels even the least bit agitated. He's also a rather detached person that does not care to make friends with most of the other star allies, and is quite a big hater for the ones that get on his nerves. He has a bad habit of being too blunt about wishing death or general ill-will for people he hates.
Not just that, but I headcanon that Dark Mind is technically still alive as a neutralized little fragment that desperately needs assistance. DMK hasn't given up trying to bring DM back to its former glory, and is still devoted enough to do what DM asks of him to do. It's not actually as frightening as it sounds, though. Trying to bring DM back to its former glory may be impossible due to how much it'd take, so that threat may not warrant much concern, but DMK still strives for it.
But DMK can be kept in check at times by a few others in the cast. I headcanon that DMK is friends with Daroach, Adeleine, Ribbon and Kirby, and he does care about what they think of him. But I hc those are the only friends he has in the cast, as he's the dream friend with the least amount of friends. He doesn't care about anyone else. He's also willing to do art stuff with Adeleine, and will protect his friends from danger. But overall, DMK is still a ruthless son-of-a-gun.
Daroach has a notably kind-hearted side to him, but he's also absolutely still a thief. Some people are ticked off by his persistent thievery. He likes the challenge of breaking into certain areas and to see what's he capable of successfully stealing. This can get especially irritating for some if he's brought the entire squeak squad with him for these instances. Daroach also has a trollish/smug side to him, as he thinks it's funny to get reactions out of people as he steals from them.
He does have standards, though. There are people that Daroach will NOT steal from. This includes Kirby, Adeleine, the entirety of Ripple Star (he'd feel bad to rob from that planet) and he also respects Meta Knight enough to never steal anything from the Halberd. He's also a softy around Kirby. And there's times in the day where Daroach decides to be chill and not steal anything. He can be quite a laidback bro if he's your friend. He has a big sense of humor and if you don't mind him pulling lighthearted fast ones on you, he'll gladly do that.
But he's still our resident thief! Hahaha. And he often has a rather shady demeanor that might make some people put their guards up.
Magolor did make a well known apology and created an amusement park to back it up, but I headcanon he's still very much a flawed person. Much like his buddy Marx, Magolor is a mischievous prankster that likes getting a rise out of people at times, although he's much more tactful than the jester in this regard. There's other problems with Magolor, like how he often says awkward things that make it evident he doesn't have the best understanding of social cues. He also has a tendency to insert himself into things, due to still having a bit of an ego, and he can sometimes be a blatantly obvious suck-up.
It's also arguably somewhat flawed morality-wise on Magolor's behalf to have made all the masks he did for Merry Magoland. He had great intentions with that, as he wanted to honor many people with that, but he made a lot of them without permission. And it ended up being pretty awkward for some people to see the masks. Thankfully, it didn't elicit any reactions bad enough for Magolor to lose any friends, but he arguably should've gotten many people's permission first.
Magolor is still buds with Kirby despite his current flaws, though. And he actually cares about being liked and cares about making people have fun, and so he makes sure that he has standards accordingly for that. He also just has very weird ways of going on about trying to be a better person than what he was before. But regardless, he's trying!
Taranza may be mourning the death of his beloved queen, but as a matter of fact I do not headcanon him to be a complete softboy! Once enough time passed for him to start properly recovering from his loss, he's eventually started coming back to being a snobby rich-theater kid type of guy like he was before. He can be very bizarrely smug and confident at times. He has an iconic devious smile. He makes webs at people's homes with often trollish messages. Don't be surprised if he sneakily rearranges the stuff in your home without you looking.
And believe it or not, he also has a secretly vengeful and vindictive side to him. He'd love to torment and beat up everyone that picks on him. And because it was a dimensional mirror that corrupted his queen, he heavily resents the mirror world and talks smack about its inhabitants. Honestly if he saw a dimensional mirror again he'd love to break it and smash it to pieces. He also legit wants DMK to die.
But overall, Taranza is no serious bad guy anymore. He does have a definite nice and caring side to him. He's really grateful to all of his friends that have helped him out with his grief (especially Susie, who understands him better than anyone else does) and he'd panic like frick when one of his friends gets hurt. He doesn't want to lose any of his current friends, the last thing he needs is MORE things to grieve over. He's also glad to show people about flora. He's also still just a silly-ass rich theater guy that can be quite a big, dramatic handful.
Susie, while no longer the terrifying colonizer she once was, is still very much a corporate-minded woman with a lot of unhinged stuff going on with her. The HWC's practices are substantially improved in her rule compared to what it was in her dad's rule, but she still makes corny business decisions at times. She has a notable stubborn streak, and is often a bit too blunt and formal to people she isn't close enough to be friends with. She's also feisty and a bit too ruthless when it comes to combat, as it may require others to calm her down. And like Magolor, she gets awkward at times with her low understanding of social cues.
She's also still a mad-scientist at heart, although she's mostly stopped mechanizing people (except for those that explicitly WANT it) and has largely shifted to applying her mad-scientist desires on inanimate objects such as toys and accessories. I headcanon that Susie has an entire hobby of making super-detailed custom furbies as I wrote a post about it. But despite the improved shift, she often gets way ahead of herself when experimenting on inanimate objects to the point that the final result of her creations are pretty darn freaky and unnerving to some people. She really loves doing it, though! And the unhinged level of detail to her creations can be hilarious to some.
Susie does have friends that she cares about, and she lets them reign her in as she doesn't want to disappoint them. And despite usually being rather cold, she's not entirely without her kind moments. Susie is at her nicest when interacting with Taranza and Kirby, and she has other friends like Magolor and the mage sisters that she can be great with. Her friends are the one thing that help motivate her to get better. But despite that, Susie is still absolutely a big handful in terms of flaws. She's still a vindictive, standoffish, corporate mad-scientist that's ballsy enough to constantly snap back during confrontations!
The Mage Sisters are still chaotic menaces. They're exceptionally grateful to Kirby and co. for saving them and Hyness in HiAD, and so they definitely ain't doing that Void Termina crap again, but these women still engage in absurdly violent and bombastic activities. They love to destroy random buildings for no real reason other than just for kicks and giggles. They cackle like hyenas when they cause mischief.
Francisca is perhaps the most obviously flawed mage sister, as she literally keeps her frozen trophy collection and even tries to expand it! That's a bruh moment. It doesn't exactly help that she's close buddies with Marx as those two will just make some absolutely absurd hijinks together. Her relatively quiet nature can also be rather unnerving. It's not all bad, though, as she can be genuinely sweet to people that she cares about. And she's kind enough to give you free water with her soda gun if you'd like that, but overall she's an extraordinary freak.
Flamberge is the nicest of the three mage sisters, but she still has her fair share of chaos as she loves causing big booms with her fire abilities. She can be considered a daredevil with that sort of thing. Another notable flaw with her is that she lets Francisca get away with anything. She will NEVER hold her psychotic blue sister accountable. And there's of course her temperament, but she's surprisingly chill a lot of the time and is really only angry if given an actual reason to be.
Zan Partizanne can be quite rude with excessive name-calling, as she has a mentality of "it goes both ways" when her name can't be said right. If you can't say her name right, then she'll make it even by giving you some unhinged nickname. She also has a guilty pleasure of starting playful bickering matches with people purely for fun. That being said, she's something of a leader alongside Hyness at the Jambandran base and is always glad to help guide people around the place, but she can overall be quite a standoffish and feisty person.
The mage sisters do care about trying to be better, though. They want to make Kirby proud as he's essentially their little hero. They're still incredibly unhinged people by virtue of being raised in a literal cult, though, and they still love to start ruckuses and cause chaos. With the amount of mischief they cause with their weapons, it may be wise to keep some distance as to not get caught in their weapons' range.
-----
That's basically everything I got. All these characters are still very flawed people to me. They're all redeemable to various extents, but yeah. I like to think that they all need occasional slaps on the wrists by Kirby. He's their 'parole officer' like I said at the beginning of the post. He keeps them in check. And it works as they all respect him!
But despite sometimes slapping them on the wrists, Kirby does care about all these people. He's friends with all of them. He cheers them on as they progress in life. When they do good things, he's proud of them! He also can't help but feel sorry for the more traumatized ones.
Kirby has remarkable tolerance. He can basically be friends with bad people, lol. He always has faith and sees the good in people. He's the perfect little guy to motivate people to get better. He can keep someone in check from doing bad things, and is merciful enough to always give them a second chance. Man, thank this universe for Kirby!
Thanks for reading if you did. See you for the next one.

I really really hope I don't end up coming off as rude in this, but I found your account from the Hades tag (the game--which I suppose I don't really have the same negative feelings for, both because I'm neither greek nor religious and thus am very disjointed from the frustrations expressed ) and seeing as the designs were the main talking point (I know I'm oversimplifying her I'm so sorry if this comes off as rude) I was curious as to what would be a respectful depiction of Greek mythology. Greek mythology has always been something I enjoyed reading about, but knowing that a lot of my exposure to it has been heavily westernize one way or another, I was wondering if I could ask for I guess more insight? I might not share the same feelings (due to again having grown up unreligious and thus trying to compare how I might feel if my own chinese mythology was given the hades treatment isn't exactly far becaue to me they really are just kinda like prompts in my mind--though I'm not sure how wrong it is for me to think like that) I do wish to understand it because your culture religion and mythology isn't a prop. It deserves the same respect every other culture/religion has/is getting. sorry for the lengthy ask, but it's perspectives like you're I want to hear more about though I've struggled to really open up to them because often time the discussions felt hostile (that said I am conflict adverse so this is probably a me problem.). On a final side note (and this is definitely where I am about to sound really stupid/bigoted but I really have to ask because my conscious will not leave me alone about it) but would it be ignorant for a person such as myself to find enjoyment from a game such as Hades less because of it's mythological roots though they are a factor and more for the story it's decided to tell (for what is honestly when I really do think about it) using the greek mythology "props"? Like enjoying it seperate from the source material?
Hello and apologies for taking so long to answer! Two consecutive hours where I exist undisturbed is very rare in my life during this period, so please, again, forgive me for replying a month later. 💜💜💜
A second anon question I got about the same issue:
Tumblr media
I appreciate both of you for asking. Identifying the problem in the context of your situation, and what you don't know is a great step forward (and I am very sorry I wasn't able to respond to you earlier). For those who don't know, this blog, despite the salty content, is all about peaceful discussion and understanding.
I think answering the first anon ask will also cover the first. Let me start with one point and elaborate on the rest:
"On a final side note (and this is definitely where I am about to sound really stupid/bigoted but I really have to ask because my conscious will not leave me alone about it) but would it be ignorant for a person such as myself to find enjoyment from a game such as Hades less because of its mythological roots though they are a factor and more for the story it's decided to tell (for what is honestly when I really do think about it) using the greek mythology "props"? Like enjoying it separate from the source material?"
Neither I nor any other (sane) Greek would like to police people in a way of stopping their enjoyment of media. Like other Greeks, I have also played Hades and liked it. I believe we can enjoy the present media and still advocate for better media in the future. We can all be more aware, and push for gods and heroes to be treated like the cultural figures they are, and not as products of late-stage western capitalism.
Greek gods and heroes cannot be separated from their culture and still be the same since they no longer carry their stories or embody the same values. (This goes for every cultural figure.) What would be the point of Heracles if your only exposure to him was that "he is an ancient strong guy who kills monsters"? There is a whole story to him beyond that, what makes him "Heracles", a hero that Greeks hold as a symbol even in our days. Without his story, he's no different than an average modern American superhero.
To the first anon: If you were to explain any Chinese hero or deity to me, you would still need to explain all the "surrounding" elements, like the world domains, the monsters, what is "respectful" and what is "not respectful" to do within the context of the Chinese culture. You wouldn't just drop the figure in question and expect me to understand everything, right? And for this reason, I don't think it would be fair to this figure and the Chinese audiences to just drop this figure separated from Chinese culture in a super American setting. As you suspected, it would leave a bad taste in the mouth of religious and non-religious people who know this figure.
There is some effort from Western media to incorporate these elements into their stories but it's done superficially through the classic Americanized lens. This doesn't allow the audience to feel these values and stories within a different context. The producers will do anything so (mainly Western) audiences don't feel alienated by exploring a foreign culture - but this entirely misses the point of exploring a foreign ancient culture.
I don't want to be entirely absolute here and say that no modernized depiction of these figures is good. It was even a fresh take a few years ago but now the market is so saturated with this presentation that even the audience who "loves Greek myth" is only exposed to this, and misses all the nuances of the ancient Greek context.
To its credit, the Hades game incorporated some ancient elements successfully (the gods offering their favor and getting vengeful when ignored, or having their own "human-like" interactions without getting reduced to the presentation of "petty humans"). This is more than what most westernized media has achieved but I still feel we only got crumbs compared to what we could have.
For me and some other Greeks, the game would be considerably elevated by the use of actual Greek culture, in addition to its cool story. By "actual Greek culture" I mean ways of interaction, clothes (not just the standard white chiton), music, etc. It looks like most western media fears that the Greek gods inside their culture will be "too foreign" for their audiences, which treats the audiences as if they're dumb and frustrates the already tired Greeks because god forbid we ever are "too foreign", "too unapproachable" to rich/western foreigners.
As always, depictions of heroes and gods from other cultures should be kept. The very recent phenomenon of westerners just deciding to "re-paint" the Greek gods Nordic pale or West African dark - according to their social sensitivities of the time - is a decision they took alone and without any consultation of Greeks. It's a decision that treats the Greek gods like props, as well, precisely because people of the original culture were never asked, and they are negative about this type of change. This decision was taken with the same brass the western colonizers used these same figures to set harmful standards for the colonized peoples and other nations they deemed "lesser", like the Greeks of their time themselves.
As we are not expected to change Maori, Chinese and Congolese gods' appearance (symbols, clothing, phenotype (or "race" as it is in some countries)) same goes for Greek gods. We grant all gods this standard because we recognize that they're - among other things - symbols of the overwhelming majority of the indigenous people of their land. Many USians mistakenly equate Greeks with the Western colonizers and the US culture, a thought that feeds their ownership attitude which I've spoken about many times in the past and i won't elaborate further on, for the sake of your sanity xD
Finally, if one struggles to place the Greek gods in the context of an actual religion, I think it would help them to read ancient hymns for the Greek gods (which are widely available online, in English at least) so they can see firsthand the veneration they were/are worth to their worshippers. Reading plays like the Bacchae or Alcestis, or parts of the Iliad and the Odyssey where the gods are present will show the magnanimity of the gods within the religion.
I'd also encourage them to recall examples of being present when their family or friends expressed veneration towards a deity (be it the God of Abrahamic religions, the Chinese pantheon, the Hindu pantheon, and so on) and try to imagine the same veneration towards the Greek gods. Studying Greek Orthodoxy is another way to understand this veneration. Since many ancient Greek elements remain in our Christianity, in it one can find many of the old type of respect. (Saint veneration replaced the deities' worship, the Greek type of offering worship, prayer to a home altar with offerings, road altars, funerary customs and processions, etc). If one is already familiar with Christianity this study would be a good middle step, in my opinion.
Having the context for each Greek myth figure one uses can be challenging but big studios should be able to hire specialists and offer proper representation. "They want the pie whole and the dog full", as we say here; they want quick profit with the least possible effort. They know that if they just name-drop some stuff western audiences will believe they have done deep research because previous media never invited them to engage deeply with the Greek heritage.
No culture is "uncomplex" and "easy to learn". Ancient Greek culture, like all, needs significant study to fully grasp. People should not expect to know it all after one Wikipedia reading. There's always more to learn and more context to be understood. The good news is that if you speak English and have an internet connection, translations and analyses of ancient Greek texts are super accessible to you.
It shouldn't be expected from all people to become experts but if one "loves Greek mythology" and their knowledge is PJO level, I am sorry but this person doesn't really know what they "love". A decent amount of study, at one's own pace, will enrich and deepen engagement with the Greek myths. Once you gain more knowledge, you understand why it's needed.
For the second anon's question, "What would be a proper representation of a Greek god", I have mostly answered it in the above paragraphs, but I would also like to add something culture-wise. Since the Greek gods in the media can exist in various eras, one should not divorce them from the Greek element. The Greek gods are an expression of the ancient Greek collective, therefore it wouldn't make sense for them to have lost all touch with Greek ways of thought and attitude. If they were Americans, they wouldn't be WASPs, or Native Americans or Black Americans. They would be more like First Gen Greek Americans. They would love (to a healthy degree) and mention their culture because that's where they came from and that's what they represent.

Hey I wanted to ask you a question. I have a good self concept and everything and I’m manifesting that my friends are nicer to me. And ik im supposed to ignore the 3D but it’s kinda hard when they are really mean to me a lot and it’s taking quite a toll on my mental health. What do I do?
aw sweet anon, i'm so sorry that your friends aren't being nice to you :c you deserve only the deepest respect, love, and care and i am so happy you are wanting to give yourself friends who show you that! 💗
it can be hard to persist in believing that things will change when life shows you something you don't enjoy. we are taught to believe that the order is life experience → new belief forms about life and ourselves → no control about what happens to us. but with the law, we get the opportunity to change this order to be new belief in imagination → life experience. our physical experiences can be awful, but they do not have to be our true reference point. in imagination, we are limitless.
something i think we often forget when our circumstances are being cruel to us is that you don't have to pretend that the 3D is different than it is. you don't have to pretend that your heart doesn't hurt, that your friends aren't being mean to you, or that things are any different in your life. you only have to accept that this change is real in your imagination. you can imagine anything, right? if i told you to imagine an apple, you would tell me, yup, i have an apple right here in my imagination. i wouldn't then try to convince you that you actually have the apple in your hands, because it isn't there (yet). you only have to accept that you do, in fact, have it in imagination, and you have to know that accepting it in your imagination is ALL YOU NEED TO DO to make it happen in your physical reality!
you don't have to pretend that your friends aren't being rude to you, or push down your feelings of hurt, because it will only make the painful feelings bigger if you deny them. it's okay to feel the sadness and hurt of human experiences - take care of yourself in the 3D, hug yourself, and remind yourself of your worth. as long as you are accepting that in imagination they are kind to you, then that is all you need to do. in imagination, you can accept anything, right? you can imagine them apologizing to you and hearing their apology in your ears, imagine them being sweet to you, anything that implies a better situation for yourself. give yourself, in imagination, what you wish to see, and if you at LEAST believe that you can see it in your minds eye, then you can know it can and will reflect!
a tangible thing i can give you to try is revision. lets say a friend was saying really rude things to you earlier in the day and it hurt your feelings. all you need to do is go into your imagination and visualize what you experienced earlier in the day, but this time change the scene/outcome. here are some examples of what you could imagine:
your friend says something mean, and then another friend says, "hey, there is no need to be so hurtful. they didn't deserve that at all!" then hear the friend who insulted you apologizing, see them look ashamed and realizing that they had hurt you.
imagine your friend never said anything mean to you at all, and instead replace it with what you wish you could have heard. "i'm so happy you're my friend," "i'm sorry for the hurt i've caused you, you mean a lot to me," or even just all of you laughing and having fun knowing that they are kind.
anyhoo, this was a lot of words, but i hope this can help anon. please remember that you deserve the world and i promise you that you deserve only the best and that it is coming! also, please give yourself a big hug for loving yourself enough to want this change in your life. you are a good person and i am rooting for you.

hello, absolutely love your writing, it's always such a joy seeing it!! i have a lot of fun reading your posts ^^
i have a request, and it's kinda inspired by the personality of my own farmer!OC: so, i was wondering if you could make headcanons about the bachelor(ette)s reaction with a farmer that is very emotional and cries way too easily at pretty much everything and anything — and how they would try to cheer them up? it can be in a romantic relationship, platonic, or first impressions!! any is fine :)
(P.S: if you included some Ridgeside Village characters, specially Blair, Daia and Jio i would be so, so happy ^^)
Oh my goodness thank you so much for the kind words ❤️❤️❤️ 🥺
I decided to make a separate story for each character, some already in a relationship with Farmer, some just friends. I hope you enjoy this form of headcanon!
I also added Jio and Daia, as they are the ones I've explored in the mod the best so far (well, not counting the Amethyne family). Thanks for asking, and enjoy!
SDV bachelors:
Shane:
Shane thinks Farmer is crazy, or an idiot, or both. Every time, he snaps at them and gets angry with them. Every time, after another rude remark, rivers of tears pour from Farmer's eyes and they run away. Every time, after all of this, they go back to Shane and try to talk, to become friends. And every time, Shane finds it harder and harder to chase them away. He just sighs tiredly and resigns himself to having a new friend. A vulnerable, whiny, but a friend. Shane thinks they're weird. Heh, just like himself... But a pretty good company, by the way.
Sebastian:
Sebastian kissed Farmer slowly, gently. Time seemed to have stopped altogether since they had come here, to the top of the mountain, where Zuzu City, shining with lights and billboards, was visible on the horizon. Where they were alone, where Sebastian had been brave enough to confess his love to them. Where he, under the influence of his tender feelings, took Farmer into his arms and kissed them. And was immediately frightened when he saw Farmer with tears streaming down their face. But when they told himself they were tears of happiness, Sebastian was ready to cry himself on the spot.
Alex:
Alex isn't the most tactful person himself, but even he doesn't wish harm on anyone, even if his actions aren't going to be very good. That's what happened on the beach with Farmer when Alex suddenly yelled at them to catch a grindball, but charged right into their faces. Mild worries quickly turned to panic as Farmer crying and sobbing. Thank Yoba, delicious ice cream and an ice pack from the kiosk where he works were able to calm Farmer down. Alex breathed a sigh of relief, he didn't know they were such a weakling.... No no no no, he didn't mean that! Don't cry, please- damn, he need more ice cream!
Harvey:
Harvey must admit: coming to him for a compulsory injection for illnesses in the face of intense fear of needles and doctors, was a very brave move on Farmer's part. Many patients, sensing anxiety and panic after any mention of hospitals, immediately ran away. But Farmer, though flooding the clinic floor with tears, kept a steady hand. Harvey would later steep Farmer in herbal tea to calm them down, not forgetting to praise them for their bravery and responsibility. He will also offer the help of a therapist he knows.
Sam:
Sam was returning from his parents back to his home on the farm, to his beloved spouse. Seeing the love of his life on the couch, Sam was already heading to the Farmer for his portions of hugs and kisses.... and found them crying, with headphones, from which muffled music was blaring. Sam, already knowing Farmer very well, only smiled when he saw their crying face, "Sad song again?" "Uh-huh," Farmer holds out one of the headphones to their husband. The young musician sat down next to them, putting his arm around their shoulder, listening to the lyrics of the song. "Very sad, you're right." What are they listening to? baby shark doo doo doo
Elliott:
The inhabitants of the Valley could not help but notice the Farmer standing near the Saloon, sobbing with a bouquet of flowers, together with Elliott, who was trying to comfort his interlocutor. The bouquet of flowers and Farmer's tears immediately suggested that everyone's favorite chaotic Farmer had a grief, that someone had died.... But it turned out that they were just very touched (even too much) by the attention of their, as it turned out later, boyfriend. After all, Elliott is so thoughtful, and these are their favorite flowers, and *sob*. Oh, goodness...
SDV bachelorettes:
Leah:
Oh, the talented artist experienced a whole spectrum of emotions over the course of the morning. First, enthusiasm as she added the finishing touches to her new sculpture. Then pride in the work she had accomplished. Later, the desire to give the sculpture as a gift. After that - the thrill of handing the sculpture to the surprised Farmer. Then came the anxiety, for instead of joy she saw tears on her friend's face. Then came surprise and relief when Farmer, still sobbing, thanked Leah for the beautiful gift. The red-haired girl stroked her friend's back for another five minutes, smiling broadly.
Penny:
Penny never thought that Farmer, her friend, would be crying so hard at the end of the movie "Brave little sapling". Although her own eyes were a little wet after the last scene of the movie, the red-haired girl didn't think that Farmer would sob so much. Luckily she had brought a few dry tissues with her (all of which she had to give to Farmer, by the way).
Haley:
"Ew, you're all dirty," was the phrase that became Haley's fatal mistake when she carelessly commented on the new Farmer's slightly stained clothes. The girl had to spend more than 20 minutes calming down a very vulnerable Farmer, trying to convince them that "stains like that are even in fashion!" (not too convincing). Haley didn't want to offend them, so as an apology, she offered her help to the Farmer in ordering great fashionable clothes, with discounts and promotions. Now they are crying tears of gratitude. Haley doesn't understand why she's having such bad luck today.
Emily:
When one day, visiting Emily, Farmer inquired what kind of parrot was in her room, the girl told the story of this poor bird, the broken wing, and how the feathered creature was now being treated here under Emily's care. The blue-haired girl's story was interrupted when she heard a loud sob from her companion, so Emily immediately ran to the kitchen to get napkins and tea for Farmer. She could truly understand Farmer: when that unfortunate bird banged into the window and broke its wing, Emily wanted to burst into tears, she felt sorry for the bird! But now the parrot is safe and they will help their feathered friend right? *Squawk*
Abigail:
Abigail jumped when she saw Farmer crying near the mountain lake. When she ran over to find out what was wrong, she could make out the words "bracelet," "drowned," and "sorry" from all the crying and whimpering. Oh yeah, Abby had recently given Farmer a handmade friendship bracelet. And Farmer, still crying crocodile tears, said they dropped the bracelet in the lake while fishing. Hey, no need to cry, it's no big deal. Abigail will make a new bracelet, even better! She'll even add an amethyst to decorate it!
Maru:
It's not every day that Maru gets the chance to enjoy stargazing with the love of her life (to be honest, the girl still can't believe her happiness). The vast night sky is studded with a thousand diamonds, blessing this quiet and beautiful night. And the Farmer, overwhelmed with emotion, began to let tears fall, saying how beautiful Maru is under the starry dome. After this, Maru did not hold back and her glasses became wet from her own tears as she kissed and hugged Farmer in a burst of passion. That night had become special for them.
Bonus + Ridgeside Village:
Daia:
Daia isn't surprised, though: after telling the Farmer about her orphan childhood, many people would have let at least a stingy tear fall. And though she turned the whole thing into another joke and tease, she was beyond laughing when Farmer hugged her tightly and began sobbing into her shoulder. Assassin only sighed and comforted Farmer, telling her that there was no bringing back the past, but now she had a close friend (or more?) in her life who had become the thread that connected her to the normal life she had dreamed of. It didn't help, and Farmer cried even harder. Oh my goodness, her whole shoulder is wet from their tears, hee hee!
Jio:
Jio is utterly confused and annoyed. Why the hell was Farmer crying over an accidentally squashed snail? Yes, it was a pity about the creature, but it was very small, the grass was tall, and it was already dusk, so you couldn't see anything. Stop crying! What, a funeral for a snail? Are you out of your mind? Kiwi, why are you sad? ...You two cannot be serious.... Okay, fine! Let's have a funeral for the snail. Elf doesn't understand how someone like Farmer can deal with the dangerous monsters of Ridge Falls, but whine and sobbing like a child over some snail.... Kiwi, don't even dare cry too, you're literally an assassin!
