this might be obvious already but i feel like canon hakuno is written as a sort of balance between having a character of her own (she obviously has a solid characterization and personality) but also a self insert (a lot of things about her are left blank/vague for the "player's decision")

having that self insert aspect really hurts hakuno's character imo (how are you going to make a character's theme all about identity and trying to find herself.... and then try to make her a self insert 🗿) so i try to fill it with my own interpretion- which is why my hakuno's headcanon-based! (ゝω・´★) i'm trying to write her in a way that fits with my understanding of her character 🫡 but yeah this is just a disclaimer that there maay be some differing opinions on how something is read but this is just my take !

and also i actually think it's sooo neat how dynamic(?) hakuno's character is... like there are so many directions you could take her development and how her experiences shape her character GDKCSHNC I JUST LOVE HAKUNO KISHINAMI A LOT. i wish there were more hakuno writers honestly 🤧💖 anyone who has a liking to hakuno's character gets a brownie point from me uwu👍
