This part sucked, big time. Bobbi could converse in several languages, talk her way out of a tight spot if she tried hard enough (and maybe embodied a bit of her ex-husbands' confidence) but having to make a distraction because they had to kill time? Most definitely not. Not a skill she was good at. "I… don't know, actually. I haven't really seen him much lately. Besides, it's not like we actively spend too much time together." Bobbi didn't think they did, anyways. They only share the odd dinner and beers, now and then. Maybe it was more frequent than she thought? Hard to say. Maybe Clint told Hill more than she thought too… 

"I don't watch much TV, either, Hill. Who in our line of work has time for that?" She laughed a little. "I can tell you about the research papers I've been reading? There was a fascinating one just recently about crocagins, which is the basis of morphine, essentially. They use alkaloids they have found in fungi and naturally occuring bacteria, and the scientists on the paper says they've found ways to recreate them in a lab, rather than using a natural material as the base proteins. It may even help me in my own research, if I look more into it, actually." 

She sighed, maybe a bit more wistfully than she'd intended. "Spa sounds so nice. I can't remember the last time I stepped foot in one." The thought of the warm water of a hot tub was like music to her ears, it would be so soothing, and her old, aching bones might appreciate a good soak. If you were to ask her, she likely would deny that she was old, except in certain company.
