ah. so that's why one-on-one interactions make me want to crawl out of my fucking skin
#people always expect me to Interact With Them when we hang out#i don't want to!! let's just do our own thing in the same room without any expectation of interaction!!#recently had to field the advances of this guy who just. really wanted to engage with me#i assumed my deep discomfort and anxiety surrounding that was my absolute lack of interest in a romantic relationship#and like it probably WAS that but it was probably ALSO-#you guessed it-#the autism#like you want me to pour all of my attention and energy and time into keeping you happy with conversation??#you want me to make eye contact and actively look like i am absolutely for sure paying attention and hanging off your every word??#are you for real. leave me alone!!#i'm honestly just ranting about various things that are vaguely connected#god this guy was SUCH a stickler about eye contact. literally horrible#also i am majorly vibing with the ability to edit and move tags on desktop??
