Got a commission back of ambassador illithid!xa'rok looking stately and I love it but I also tragically want to redesign their entire ambassador outfit which renders the purpose of the art obsolete. I hate clothes everyone should just be naked

#my brain cannot conceptualize outfits and I can never draw them the way I want #I want to really marry the gith and illithid cultural concepts into their uniform but also make it look Official #but the one concept I have that I keep trying to tweak just Isn't Doing It for me no matter how many times I try messing with it #which probably means I should go back to the drawing board and start over completely #but also: UGH #killing all clothing with my mind #I will share the art in a bit though it's very good #also d'jax is looking so regal and well-behaved #rook's ramblings
