You're the Eleventh Doctor in Victorian England. You think you're on your last regeneration.

You miss Amy. And it gets to you.

And you walk off your cloud.

And you wake up (on the ground? In someone's house? Victorian Clara could find them falling, it would be their luck) and somehow, you survived. A 13th regeneration. A 14th life.

And then you look in the mirror.

(I think Amy!Doctor would talk to Amy in the mirror. They miss her and they are her and sometimes, if they believe hard enough, they can pretend she's still here with them.)
