It's 2 am and I just finished another book which I thought was a standalone. Hell yeah to my sleep schedule!
#tbh i knew it was a series. i just thought each pair had a book. but no we need more lol#carol reads#would love to tell you the name of the book. but i am still stuck on the plot twist that my brain processed 5 seconds before it was revealed#cause of course it did. it just went like' omg he is alive' and then reading the character state that he is alive#also Valen Ferus is an idiot and we stand one of those. Elise is my favourite woman protagonist I've read this year.which...not a good thing#since the only other i did was Sam? and I guess I started The brother Hawthorne book.
