So! We got tickets to Baltimore Comic-Con in September (btw Certain Baltimore-Adjacent Friends we're going to be in Baltimore in September) because Tony Harris was going to be there and we were cosplaying Jack and Shade.

And then a month ago we looked at the guest list for the con in the city we live in and guess who showed up???

Anyway Spooky made this absolutely majestic patch for Jack with like different fabrics and techniques all based on where he would have jury-rigged the material from when he was making it. (Because, he says before embarking on a month of making this, "painting is hard.")

Tony Harris called the jacket "fucking brilliant" and enthused over our costumes and how great the patch was and wanted pictures with us. AND when I explained the Baltimore thing, he's like "oh yeah here's my email remind me and I'll give you a resin cane topper cast from the mold made from my grandfather's cane that I used for reference for the Shade's!"
