// ayyyyyy smut policies today, huh?
i like smut. i like writing it, i like reading it, and i think i'm pretty good at the whole thing. however!!! chemistry is super important and smut is not my goal when writing a relationship (yes, even for a ship). i like Conversations and Scenarios more than anything. if a ship naturally develops a smutty scene, great! if the muses aren't feeling that or if my partner isn't comfortable with it, that's also cool! i'm very chill about this, tbh.
overall, it comes down to communication. i need to be on the same page as my partner regarding chemistry and boundaries.

Have you ever seen the MHA theories regarding how Monoma and Toga could possibly be related? At first, I was skeptical, but when I found out their birthdays, I saw there IS enough of an age gap for them to be siblings, and after what happened with Toga, their parents COULD'VE changed their last name to hide from the media. What do you think?
That's actually a really interesting thought and something that I have heard of before. Personally, I'm just not sure. We know that Himiko most likely has siblings, as Curious refers to her as the "first daughter of the Toga family," implying that she is not the only one. Of course, one could say that this implies Himiko has younger sisters only, but let's for the sake of argument assume this is referring to siblings as a whole. It can also be noted that admittedly, the two share a very similar, narrowed eye shape, which is particularly rare to see amongst the characters of the series, especially the younger characters. Then of course, there's their Quirks, which, although they go about it in slightly different ways, both revolve around mimicry of some description. This one is admittedly very loose, but we can see that both characters have a penchant for dressing in a somewhat distinguished fashion when not in uniform (Himiko's backstory and some of Neito's promotional artwork, plus his hero costume, attest to this) so that is another similarity to draw between the two and again one that no other younger character seems to share. Also, you mentioned that the Togas could have changed their family name. Although a hassle, due to how the registry works over there, it's very much possible to do in Japan, and from what we know of the family, they seem proud enough that something as embarrassing to them as Himiko's breakdown would lead to them changing their name.
Unfortunately, we have never seen Monoma and Toga properly interact and I think this is one of the biggest killers of the theory to me. Take the lost Todoroki sibling who had encountered both Shoto and Enji Todoroki numerous times before the ultimate reveal. Meanwhile, there is very little to suggest that Himiko and Neito even know one another. I like to bash on Horikoshi from time to time, but he is very, very good at giving concrete evidence to support reveals that could be hundreds of chapters away (see, the aforementioned Todoroki sibling, the introduction of Destro and Harima, the newest traitor reveal, et cetera) so I do not think it is in his style to give nothing outside of very circumstantial evidence for such a revelation. I think it's also worth noting that aside from the eyes, they bare almost no physical similarity to one another. Their hair is a different colour, their facial structures are different, with Toga's being far sharper, and if this was going to be a reveal, I feel like there would be some more similarities to draw. So overall, I don't think it can be or will be canon, but it is an extremely interesting idea for a headcanon.
And that leads me to wonder, what would happen if this was to be the case? What if Neito was the next child of the Toga family after all? Well, currently in the manga, we see that Monoma seems to be relegated to the role of keeping Eri safe, while Toga has somehow reunited with the League again, following her separation from them. If Horikoshi was to go down the sibling path, I can see it possibly involving Eri in some way. Perhaps something about the villain in his family is what prompted him to help the girl, when ordinarily, he couldn't give much of a damn for anybody outside of his own class. And maybe that will come into play during the inevitable UA Siege (it's going to happen, I'm almost certain of it.) But that's just a bit of fun speculation, not much else outside of that.
Thank you very much for the ask, it's highly appreciated.
