Just watched a video talking about Geeta's team and recommending some changes to make it cooler and more of a challenge... I don't really like to spend too much time on Pokemon wank (I clicked on the video thinking it was going to be more about her as a character.... like, her being secretly evil. or something.) but I really liked some of the points the video brought up.... I think the only mon i would really want her to keep are Glimmora (area zero red string conspiracy board) and Gogoat (her name is apparently from Saggitarria, referencing the plant in her Japanese name, so CMON let her keep the grass goat). But they were like yeah give her a Gholdengo, have Glimmora go first, let Kingambit go last and maybe even be shiny to match her color scheme.... yeah no that would absolutely be rad.

But REALLY this post is about how in the comments of that video everyone's joking about Geeta not deserving the title of Top Champion, how Nemona canonically held back in their battle, etc... I think it's really interesting, from a worldbuilding standpoint, to see a Champion whose administrative duties take precedence over her battling ability.

With there being an "entrance exam" for the first time, Geeta's dual role as chairwoman, the active role she takes in gym inspections... it absolutely feels like she has the job because of some kind of insane project management skills.
