needed to post a crazy bit of a dream i had so i dont forget cause it was all avatar and addi centered
Ok so it's set in a time frame where Bridgehead or something is an already established city with lots of people and stuff. But it's just sort of plonked into the forest and doesn't touch on the whole destruction part of it.
Norm was there and had Addi at a later date and her friend group was different kids. The weird thing was the dream couldn't decide if they were human or had avatars and kept bouncing in between or ignoring things like needing a mask outside. Either way she's there, he's a single parent and I guess I decided the mom had left for whatever reason.
There was going to be two new characters introduced, one being some sort of relgious guy who wanted to introduce heccin human religions to the na'vi and i was like aight here we go this won't end well.
But Addi and some other kids are doing some sort of training course with a na'vi instructor and somehow addi either separates herself from the group or they know she like went somewhere but she actually got too close to the city's canal system that gets the water out of the city and she heccin falls in.
Addi can't swim. We know this. Her shoelace gets snagged on something in the water and this just happens to be the day theyre releasing some extra water into the canal to get it somewhere else and it's the EXACT TIMING SHE'S IN THE WATER.
No one can get to her on time (they either didnt know where she was or she's too far down the canal ridge to grab anything) and here comes the water she gets carried off and baaaaaarely misses the tunnel that would take the water back into a facility to be treated it was terrifying.
Last thing I remember is a waterfall sort of ledge like in a dam and everything went black. Figured she gets washed waaaaaaay down some sorta river and tada now she's out in the forest and has to use survival instincts.
