#all the fauna and Flora I'll be designing for this prompt-challenge will be CANON in My Reimagining!

Hello everyone, It is i, load!

And I have a question for all of you My Inner Demons fans! How would you feel if I made a month-long prompt-challenge list (akin to that of Smaugust or Mermay) but for My Inner Demons? For any of y'all to participate in if you so want to!

Specifically, a prompt challenge…

for designing a fauna or flora (aka animal or plant) that you would imagine (based on each prompt) would live on daemos!

I thought this would be a fun little challenge for myself as a part of my creation process for further worldbuilding of my reimagining, but then I realized… Why just for me? Maybe some people would want to use this prompt list for themselves as well, and so! I decided to do just that! make this for anyone who wants to participate in this prompt-challenge for themselves as well!

This prompt challenge isn't strict though, and is loose in its “rules,” or more accurately guidelines?...

Anywho,

the Guidelines!;

You can either do both a fauna and flora design for a prompt, or do a fauna design for one prompt and a flora design for the next one! Or you can do all fauna OR all flora! use this prompt list however you like! As long as it's making a design for either a fauna or Flora lifeform, it counts!

Don't feel pressured to make a fauna/flora design every day! It's alright if you skip, don't finish, or extend this prompt challenge into december. As long as you're having fun and enjoying yourself, that's what matters more!

Submissions don't have to be drawings!! They can be written submissions as well! Whether it is just an explanation and informative submission of the creature or plant, or like a Daemon’ recording their findings or knowledge of said lifeform. OR even if it's in story form! As long as it explains the Fauna or Flora's Appearance and Behavior!

Though that leads me to more of a suggestion/recommendation than a guideline;

Consider the appearance, behavior, and place in the world your creature or plant would have, as an example; what does it do? How does it act? What is its most identifiable feature? How can it be used? What sort of environment or climate would it live in?

More importantly; how would daemos interact with it? Would they hunt it or gather it for food? Would they raise it like livestock? Would they farm it? Would they tame it like a pet or familiar? Would they avoid it at all costs? Is it used in medicines or poisons? Would they go out of their way to kill or harvest it in a rite-of-passage/age ritual? (The possibilities are endless!)

These questions are optional but recommended! :3

With that aside, this prompt-challenge will begin in November! The hashtags for said Prompt-Challenge are; #Daevember and #Daevember2024! I hope to see you and your submissions if you choose to participate!

(The prompt list will be revealed on the first day of November! So remember to keep a lookout for that on Friday!)
