#xanadu posting#for context our auditions were just singing a chunk of one of three precut songs#fool which is a very high soprano song and was like the “kira audition” and what i auditioned with#evil woman which is a lower song and the villain song for melpomine which our “kira” auditioned with#and then all over the world which was for the boys tbh its a sonny song#so we all picked one of those to sing and just sang with the broadway track and sent it in via video#really easy and simple#but needless to say we were a LITTLE surprised. when we got the cast list#considering our audition songs HAHA#all considering my colead is doing fucking FANTASTIC with kira's part#she can hit those high notes wayyy better than she thinks he can she keeps psyching herself out#but she sounds stunning#and i get to opt up into the higher octave for sonny so i get to sing soprano anyway LOL
