ok explanation of those tags: in the doctor who novel alien bodies by lawrence miles theres a character called trask who was resurrected by the celestis to carry out the mission of retrieving the relic, aka the doctor's corpse. fun.

but the thing is trask is actually a one off character from the second doctor tv story the highlanders, a story that nobody fucking remembers or talks about even though it introduces one of the most well known and longest running companions to the show. and like the novel NEVER makes this clear. it never specifies this connection youd only notice if youre fucking knee deep in doctor who lore with level 10 autism which everyone whos reading these books would be anyway
