i do feel somewhat cosmically connected to teenagers throughout time because the conversations me and my best friend were having about the beatles at age twelve would have been indistinguishable from those happening in the year 1969

#like. i know that beatlemania happened in large part bc teenage girls were super repressed and then suddenly given the outlet of 'boyband'#absolutely lost their minds. according to all the documentaries anyway #but i dont know! something about the fact that independent of knowing anything about it me and honestly a weirdly large number of other #people (especially young/teenage girls) had intense beatles phases is like. huh. what can i say. some guys have got it #aldksfj i have this one friend who really thinks hating the beatles and thinking they're overrated is a personality trait and it's like #i don't care if you like them. it's. they're literally just some band from the 60s but i find it to be a hilarious hill to die on #anyway.#sorry for beatles crimes. i fear i am regressing to my childhood somewhat
